Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 17:34

Froggy that lunch sounds pretty healthy to me mrs! Grin

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 17:36

Will do. There's a local Facebook page I can post to as well. My poor Walter! I hope he's just put chasing lady cats in the sun

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 17:39

Oh I hope so too Melon maybe they are TTC?!

lucieloos · 22/04/2015 17:46

Thanks purdie would be great if you could update me later Grin I read about odd number of cells earlier and it said its completely normal as they don't multiply at the same rate so whilst one could be 9 cell now in 3 hours it could be 10 cell and so long as they continue dividing in a normal range they should be fine

loopylou1984 · 22/04/2015 17:51

Lucie! I have nothing useful to input, but know I'm wishing the very best for you Smile

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 17:53

Lol sparkly he has no balls (or incidentally a tail) so good luck to him!

lucieloos · 22/04/2015 17:54

Thank Sammy Smile

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 17:57

Miracles do happen Melon WinkGrin

Pixa · 22/04/2015 17:58

Oh my days. You have all been very chatty!

gennibugs · 22/04/2015 18:00

lucie I'm glad it's been ok so far. I can imagine the emotional turmoil and roller coaster must be so intense but it sounds like you are coping well and remaining positive. Yes I have my scan in just over 2 weeks fx. I am sending positive thoughts that you'll be graduating very very soon xx

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 18:00

This week 51 cats in my area have been reunited with their owners Melon! A lot had got themselves locked in sheds and garages, can't recommend highly enough asking your neighbours to check. Also your local cats protection group should have a fb page, post on their and people will share it. Is he microchipped?

Nomio230 · 22/04/2015 18:03

I hope he turns up soon Melon. Try not to worry too much. One of our old cats went missing for 2 weeksd before, then turned up safe and sound.

Lucie it sounds like you have some good embryos there. I really hope they keep on growing as they are supposed to.

Frog it sounds to me like you have done ok today. You can't cut out everything you like, or there would be no point living!

I am glad you asked about slim rice. I have never heard of it either. Based on glittery's recommendation, I don't think I will be trying it!

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 18:07

Yes he's chipped Smile

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 18:09

Melon, hope he turns up soon.

Lucie, I have no idea about your numbers but I'm keeping everything crossed for a couple of good ones for Friday. So pleased the experience is such a good one.

Frog, pleased the scan went well.

Sparkly, don't think he'll be home until about midnight!

Purdie, how was your day today?

ibeka · 22/04/2015 18:09

What a chatty day you've had!

melon sorry to hear about poor Walter... I hope he turns up soon.

I am taking the bold move to try and cut out gluten after reading this can reduce TPO antibodies. But I failed today at an after school meeting that my colleague had brought biccies to. I know I can do it, my ma has Coeliac disease and I'm well used to catering for her but I am not very good at resisting temptation!

I saw an ad for slim rice and slim pasta the other day. My initial reaction was "WTF that looks foul". What on earth is it actually made from?

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 18:11

That's good Melon it makes a massive difference in getting them back :)

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 18:11

The wanderer returns! He's just this second burst through the cat flap! So pleased he's back, haven't seen him since Monday so am now shovelling treats down him.

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 18:12

Yes! So happy Melon :)

Keeping fx for you Lucie that you get a couple of super embryos on Friday!

I saw an advert for slim pasta, 9 calories a portion, how is that possible? Turned me right off it Grin

loopylou1984 · 22/04/2015 18:26

Oh melon, so pleased he's back! ??
X

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 18:31

Slim rice just sounds rubbish! Have any of you tried cauliflower rice? Spinning I think you said you had??

Good luck with GF ibeka it's not too hard after the first week or so and you get used to the alternatives pretty quickly. Spelt has hardly any gluten, very low, and it's really nice so I recommend that!

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 18:31

Melon ha ha brilliant!!! He's Obvs finished dtd for this cycle! Wink

Nomio230 · 22/04/2015 18:44

Yay, great news Melon!

For anyone else curious, I googled slim rice.

'A new kind of diet rice said to come in at just 7.7 calories per 100g has been launched across the UK. Considering that a 100g portion of white basmati rice provides 350 calories, this is a big claim from British producers Eat Water.

The product, branded ‘Slim Rice’, is made of 97% water combined with konjac, an Asian root said to supress hunger pangs and prevent over-eating by stabilising blood-sugar levels.

So far Slim Rice doesn’t sound particularly appetising, and it doesn’t get much better. It is said to be a lot chewier than normal rice and flavourless save for a strong starchy smell which, according to instructions, can be removed with warm water.'

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 18:46

Nomio that sounds the pits!

Yokyil · 22/04/2015 18:56
