My dp likes golf, he doesn't go much though. My dad does competitions and he is late 40s. Not an old mans game any more!

Implantation frog - nope couldn't do it. My mums cat once brought one in and I jumped on a chair and stood on a table until someone removed it. Bleurgh! Would much rather a frog than a spider though.

MelonMelon · 19/04/2015 11:25

Haven't chance of catching up with yesterday's news, I'm away for 24 hours and you fill up the thread!

CD3 is very boring!

DizzyMerry · 19/04/2015 11:39

Both of our families play golf. They used to play every week but now it's once a month. They are not competitive at all though.

I like frogs but no to implantation frog!!!

lucieloos · 19/04/2015 11:55

Thanks sparkly that means a lot Smile

Anyways I'm back and it's all done! It was a brilliant experience! The clinic was so lovely and so were the staff. We were shown all around and then taken to a nice little room of our own where I got changed and waited for the doctor to come around. They whisked me off then to the operating room and the anaesthetist hooked me up. There were all so reassuring and lovely. I was lying there thinking these drugs aren't going to work on me and then the next thing I know I wake up and say to the anaesthetist will we be getting started soon and she was like we've finished!! Was so funny. I was taken back to the room then and lay down waiting for DH to come back from giving his sample. We waited together then for the doctor to come around and tell us how many eggs we got.

Anyway we got 7 collected!! I'm pretty chuffed with that. What do you think purdie? Flicking virtual Vs at the sonographer in the UK who told me a max of 5 and I should cancel.

I feel a little tender and sore but they hooked me up to some painkillers before I left. Going to have a nap back at the apartment now.

We have to ring between 1-2pm tomorrow to find out how many eggs were mature and how many fertilised. I hope it's lots of them!!!

Mummyofonesofar · 19/04/2015 12:01

Aww thanks everyone, you have all been so amazing. It's so good to know there is so much support here. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow but we are one step closer. I cant believe our eggs and sperm are finally meeting and our potential babies are now on their way to being made not far away eeekkk

MaMaPo · 19/04/2015 12:47

Sperm Meets Egg Plan - Lucie, you have it covered. Well done on 7, you clever thing. Best of luck for the next step!

spinningirl10 · 19/04/2015 12:50

Lucie, 7, that's fab! So pleased it's a positive experience for you. From what you've said so far about the clinic it doesn't sound like they could do more for you. Keeping everything crossed that the eggs and sperm do their thing and will be eagerly awaiting tomorrow's update. Take it easy today.

Pixa the lady on the Benefit counter looked in my Boots store looked like she was a supermodel , i had no makeup on and full of spots at that particular time but i tired to put it out of my mind , I mix and match from Benefit and No7

Lucie great news that it was a positive experience for you , fingers crossed for you xx

purdiepie · 19/04/2015 13:10

Plaice marquee Grin

I am astonished that a) you are a baby 24, Pixa and b) anyone enjoys Zumba. As far as I'm concerned it is the fitness equivalent of Bingo; just loads of lardies squealing and sweating and never really achieving their goal.

I can't possibly catch up, so I won't bovver. Have I missed anything confounding?

Sparkly, what's happening in your unsullied-by-a-single-pube knickers?

Sammy, are you for real, sweetheart? Look at FF's score for your sexing: it's 'high', right? P.s..why did you stop before ov?

Chops, I'm not engaging in anything pregnancy-related on here, sorry

Where is butter? You ok my love?

Whatever happened to the top-shelf-clearing BabyBumpHopeful?

Sparkly, what was your sermon about this morning? I had to shut the tot up with a jammy dodger. I can't stand wailing babies in church. Leave 'em at 'ome innit.

cremedecacao · 19/04/2015 13:15

Riceicle:A Christmas baby! How exciting! If I have conceived this cycle EDD will be Jan 9th, which is my 10 year anniversary with DH! We were sweethearts, together since 16! For this reason we are both hopeful that this is the month Smile

Frog: did you ever figure out what the strangely coloured cm was?

cremedecacao · 19/04/2015 13:16

Oh Purds, another baby here: 25! Engaged at 17 and married at 21 though (and not even religious, fancy that!)
