And here is my chart for those who don't have it saved! My cahrt Not sure I even ov'd, maybe my thermometer is broken, or my ovaries....

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 09:21

Mummy, there's a big list of things you shouldn't eat when pregnant. Tbh a lot of it seems a bit daft!

Night, I'm expecting my positive later today, just hoping Dp will be home at some point to dtd!

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 09:22

Mummy, are your temps always so low after ov?

Mummyofonesofar · 22/04/2015 09:24

spinnin I know there is a list - but didn't realise salmon was on it! Is that to do with the mercury like tuna? OK. Just had a google - 2-3 servings of salmon per week is fine like all oily fish like trout, mackerel and herring.

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 09:24

Go spinning go!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/04/2015 09:25

spinning can you see my last 2 months on there? They don't stay high for long at all but this is the worst month by far as they hardly changed after ov - I need to change my GP then me and Purds have a plan for me to lie about how long I have been TTC because clearly something isn't right with them.

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 09:28

Mamapo, hope you managed to get back to sleep. Is your little one excited at spending 2 weeks with grandparents? Bet they'll have lots of fun.
I left ds for 2 weeks when we went to America. I cried when I left him at school on the morning we left but he had a great time and so did we although I missed him, it's good to have some time to yourselves sometimes.

Purdie, wow at your colleague fostering poorly children. The world needs more people like him.

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 09:32

Ah yes Mummy, just had another look. The previous 2 months look ok but I agree, they're very low this cycle.

Mummyofonesofar · 22/04/2015 09:37

Just found temping on an NHS page for natural family planning - if they say it can be up to 99% effective for family planning why oh why do they discard it as accurate when TTC! spinnin last month I only had 4-5 high temps and the month before they were so up and down - no idea what my hormones thing they are doing. I felt so positive this cycle - don't even think I will bother poas this month.

frogbubbles · 22/04/2015 09:37

Phew thank goodness for that spinning I can't function properly until at least 2 coffees, I'll drink tea and fill the water jug for later on.

Thank you mummy Smile

Woah back up, can't eat Salmon?? I eat salmon twice a week. Love the stuff. Mercury in it?

Stuck in bed today, feeling like hell on earth. DH also now sick but he has gone to work. Life sucks sometimes but at least I hate my job so don't mind missing a few days... Always a bright side.

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 10:11

Smoked salmon not salmon Boris I believe! Fish is very important on pregnancy due to the omega. Just avoid shark, swordfish, Merlin and too much fresh tuna :)

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 10:11

Oh god I've googled it and now I'm terrified! Looks like I'll be sneezing all summer Sad

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/04/2015 10:14

Avoid Merlin? But my cat is called Merlin outs self

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/04/2015 10:14

melon sympathies, can you talk to your GP or a pharmacist?

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 10:18

I've added it to the very long list of questions I have for my GP next week. Not top hopeful I'll get any answers!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/04/2015 10:19

I have just had a google and piriton is considered safe during pregnancy but not near due dates.

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 10:25

Sorry Boris Merlin has to go! I will adopt (am obvs exempt from such rules) Grin

MaMaPo · 22/04/2015 10:29

Hmm I ate smoked salmon while I was pregnant. Shouldn't I have?

Purdie you're totes smart. And not just street smart, k?

spinning our little girl is just at an awkward age to leave - she's old enough to understand the concept that we're leaving but not old enough to understand where to, for how long, when we'll be coming back etc. So... we haven't told her. She's going to her grandparents on Friday night but we won't be back for 2 weeks. No idea if this is a good plan or not (it feels like the best way) but I also wonder if she's picked up on it, which explains the clinginess. We went away this time last year and she was fine - didn't really miss us. But she's nearly 2.5 now so it's different.

Huh. Just remember that it was when we were away last year that we started TTC. So it's my sodding 1 year fucking TTC anniversary soon, cunting bollocks.

Off to my fertility specialist tomorrow to see whether I need to increase the dose of Clomid. On the bright side, I'll be 2 hours late to work.

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 10:30

Mummy, definitely speak to your doc. It's so frustrating that they won't look at chart temps. Maybe it would help if you see a lady doc.

Boris, aww sorry you're still poorly, hope you're better soonThanks

My cars in the garage so I'm on the bus, I hate buses!

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 10:34

Ah Mama, it's hard leaving them. Maybe you could Skype while away, I don't know if this is more unsettling or not. I'm sure she'll be spoilt rotten though while you're away.

juneybean · 22/04/2015 10:40

Bus wanker spinning

Also my chart is looking frightening.

MaMaPo · 22/04/2015 10:49

Just watched the bus wanker ep of Inbetweeners last night! Every time I watch that show I have to get my husband to promise me he was never like that as a teenager.

spinning, I think skyping would just set her off - we'll probably just leave it. But yy to the spoiling though. She is my inlaws' only grandchild so she gets massively spoiled all the time as it is!
