Sunny that proper made me laugh. I had it yesterday a proper lie on the floor tantrum because I wouldn't let him play on a road. Am very unreasonable obvs!

Purdie not sure if I agree as I work in grey suit man dominated corporate and they may look ok but most of them are wankers

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 16:28

Junebug can't deal with lasagne garlic bread and Chips! Although I am pleased to see you are feeding yourself today! Gold star Star preggo?

Spinners glad your mum is getting away prob just what she needs! I'm ok. I actually feel I'm becoming more impatient the closer it gets!! Ha ha.

lucieloos · 22/04/2015 16:30

Hi there, sorry I haven't had chance to read back from sunny prague but I rang the clinic again for my day 3 update. I'm not sure what to think really as I have a mixed bag. I have been searching on Google and some sites say that on day 3 the embryos should have 7-9 cells with 8 being ideal, other sites say 6-8 cells. All of my 6 are still going strong and I have 1x9 cell, 2x7 cell, and 3x6 cell. I'm not sure if the 6 cells are a bit slow to catch up now. Purdie what does your spreadsheet say about the ones you had??

They have told me to go in for transfer on Friday at 1130am when hopefully we will have a couple of nice blastocysts x

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 16:31

Froggy hope your scans have been ok Flowers

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 16:32

Lucie lovely! I can't help with the ins and outs so will await Purdie but from what you said that sounds good no?! Exciting .. You are almost there lovely! Only one full day to go!!!!Grin

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 16:33

ChopsVic my lovely! How are you?! I didn't realise you had made an AN thread that's good. Hope you are doing ok? Have you poas again or are you chilled?! I hope you are doing great Flowers

spinningirl10 · 22/04/2015 16:33

Mama, I love that blanket, so colourful Grin

Sunny, bless your little oneSmile and well done on fixing the bed!

Juney, yum, lasagne.

Positive opk here, fx Dp isn't too late home, although I shall stay awake till he does!

Nomio230 · 22/04/2015 16:34

Frog how was dildocam? All good I hope. It is an incredibly strange situation having someone shove a camera inside you & root around, but at least it is not painful. IUt is strange that you had to fast though. I have not heard of that before.

Juney you are so pregnant with Mr Bolleaux’s baby!

Mama I am sure your little one will be fine. I have had my niece and nephews for long periods of time before & it is the parents who get upset, not the children! Oh, and that blanket is lovely. Is there anything you are not good at?!

Sunny your post about DD’s tantrum made me laugh!

I am on CD10, so going to start on the OPKs today. I think I will OV late, as I didn’t start my Clomid until CD4, but we shall see.

How are my fellow dieters getting on? I am finding it hard to be good today, as I am tired & grumpy. I did go swimming again though.

Riceicle1 · 22/04/2015 16:34

3dpo and I am definitely pupo! Have turned dh into a machine! he came home to get changed into his golf clothes and demanded we DTd. In order to seem as though I am rampant and up for it (and am not only interested at ov time) I had to agree Sad

lucieloos · 22/04/2015 16:38

Thanks sparkly yes we are nearly there now and I think at least some of them are looking good although I think a lot of them can drop of between day 3 and 5 as they need to undergo huge cell division over the next couple of days. In 2 days time they will have to go from around 8 cells today to something like 150 cells on Friday. I hope some can make it. Will await purdie for more info Smile

Riceicle1 · 22/04/2015 16:40

lucie that sounds really positive! I have often wished in the 2ww that I could peer inside and see what was happening... How wonderful, that (up to a point) you know what is happening Smile

Really want lasagne for dinner definitely a craving infact I really want to go to a nice Italian (or pub!) and have lasagne and garlic bread

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 16:50

Spinning wooooo for positive OPK! Hope dh home soon Flowers

Nomio good work on the swim! And hope OPKs are helpful cd 10 is a good time to start hopefully clomid won't mess your cycle too much!

Rice ha ha so funny! A complementary dtd was it?! PUPO! Grin

Lucie have faith lovely!! Some are gonna make it for sure! Yes! Smile

gennibugs · 22/04/2015 16:51

Lucie - keeping everything crossed for you. How have you found it all so far?

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 16:51

All I want for dinner is a BBQ as it's roasting here today. But that ain't gonna be happening, so I have to think about dinner...!

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/04/2015 16:52

lucie disclaimer I know nothing about what you are going through but it sounds positive. Thinking of you. X

frogbubbles · 22/04/2015 16:59

Juney can I come round your house for tea? I'm being good and have salmon fishcakes with chilli and lemongrass from't alidi with salad for me and wedges for DS.

Had to fast for ultrasound goodness knows why I don't think a bit of porridge would have hurt. She was a bit miffy because my bladder wasn't really full, I had chugged a pint of water a hour before and had a bottle with me. She said she couldn't see properly with US, I had a pee, then she had a root round with Dildocam asked me when last period was, and that there was nothing that stood out to worry over make an appointment in 10 days with GP and see you later.

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 22/04/2015 17:03

sparkly when I am sucking it up air comes up too - no matter how many times I try - squeeze it back out too - it still takes air up with it. It's the poxy syringe I tell ya! - still I am laying down for a good 30 mins okay 1 hour afterwards...and I didn't get any on dressing gown DH's pillow last night.

Juney I have this feeling you are preggo this month. don't hate me for saying it lol! :) x

Nomio diet is going good here, I tried that slim rice the other night with salmon and salad - it is fucking rank. Dinner tonight will be chicken of some sort, with salad. I'm walking lots too. So hopefully Janet at Fat Fighters will be pleased with me again! lol!
Oooh I had a lovely desert last night, 0% yogurt, raspberries, strawbs and a drizzle of choc shot. was lovely.

lucieloos · 22/04/2015 17:07

Thanks Genni and Boris, I have found it all ok so far. I guess it's just the emotional turmoil at each stage wondering if various results are ok but I have found being away has been great as there are so many different things to see and do it really is a great distraction. I think if it worked for me first time I would say I have found it an amazing experience. The clinic has been so good and I've made loads of friends along the way. If we have to do it again I would know there's nothing to worry about and hopefully now we know that our sperm and eggs are compatible then it would just be a matter of time for us.

Hope everything is going well with you genni! Can't be long until you have a scan now Smile

Sparkly123 · 22/04/2015 17:08

Froggy glad things sound ok how strange about the fasting!!

Glitterina the pulling up- are you slowly pulling up the liquified sample??? Never have an issue so could well be the syringe.

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 22/04/2015 17:14

sparkly yeah pretty slow I would say - I don't suck it up quick as I look to make sure I am not pulling up air. But it goes in anyway..then I feel bad for squeezing them back out my poor baby

purdiepie · 22/04/2015 17:15

Lucie! Been thinking about you all day. Still on train so can only fully answer you much later tonight when adequate mothering been undertaken. I do know that by day 3 embryos should have between 6 and 8 cells with odd-numbered ones considered to be dividing abnormally. Please don't freak out, I will double check this tonight. I know that my 7-cell emby didn't make it (I didn't have a 9) x

purdiepie · 22/04/2015 17:23

frog, so pleased they found nowt wrong. Nancy is horribly poorly with teething: clingy, poonami nappies, crimson cheeks, lots of wailing - which thankfully I don't have to listen to at work.

MelonMelon · 22/04/2015 17:29

Lucie so pleased to hear your updates! Exciting!

One of my fur babies has gone missing Sad He's not been home since Monday and his sister is meowing for him. Worried Sad

nightandthelight · 22/04/2015 17:31

Oh no Melon! Have you knocked on neighbours doors asking to check their sheds and garages? Also leaflets! Ring round local vets? Post on a local lost and found website?

frogbubbles · 22/04/2015 17:33

Glittery what is slim rice?? It sound horrific!! Nice work on the walking and healthy eating I have failed today I had a venti skinny vanilla latte in Starbucks and a falafel gluten free wrap. I didn't have any cake though so has to be ok right?? Blush

Thanks purds & sparkly yeah quite pleased with how it's gone I was a bit worried Smile
