Well tried to add my bit to old thread and we have reached 1000 posts again!!
Chocolatepeanut, am so sorry for what you are going through, although you sound as if you are handling it well so far. Hope things aren't too bad for you in the coming days.
Rubles, sorry if AF does arrive, bloody bitch! My blood tests will be next week. DP sperm test threw up 'abnormal sperm' and he needs to go and discuss with the GP later this week although she did say it wasn't too much to worry about. Been meaning to start a new thread on this but haven't got around to it.
I'm looking for a yoga class to try and help me relax! Do think this whole TTC is stressing me out so much, I'm so conscious of age gaps, both our ages working against us, even worrying about if we do conceive in next couple of months as worked out it would be a July or August baby (my oldest is July born and is struggling bit with school etc). Part of me thinks it may do us all some good if I just stop ttc for a couple of months, then the other half panics about an even bigger gap, etc!!
How on earth do you all manage to relax about all this stuff??

D4phne, we are all here to help ourselves and eachother out.

Need some advice from you ladies...
(Ok-TMI bit coming up)... I have just been to loo and noticed that I have very egg white consistency CM. It was just a blob though and im only cd11. Apart from this 'blob' my CM is quite dry. Could I be ov already?!

pinkranger · 13/11/2006 20:21

Hi everyone ,

Well CD 31 for me and still no AF, couldnt help myself and did a hpt this morning - ( i think im additiced to peeing on sticks )
and still BFN , they were also clearblue , i do feel like AF is around the corner, stomach cramps since saturday but really just sad the AF is taking longer as i just want my body to be back to normal after M/c , not even had any spoting yet as that always starts 12 hours before!! Just want it to hurry it!!

Edie , sounds like you could be !! You could just bed for Fun!!! xx

Hope everyone else is well ,anyone close to testing??

edie123 · 13/11/2006 20:22

pinkranger · 13/11/2006 20:23

i know , it seems to be no fun when we are TTC does it!!

edie123 · 13/11/2006 20:24

Pinkranger...sorry about BFN...

pinkranger · 13/11/2006 20:29

I know just want ot know that my body is normal. Before my M/c my cyles have always been 29-30 days, hate them not being right!
Not as disapointed as i thought i would be, think that i am just going to kick back and enjoy christmas now, lots of food and Wine and hopefully you never know, one drunken night........

edie123 · 13/11/2006 22:00

IKWYM-Its horrible to feel like you don't know whats going on inside your own body. Its scary.

Yes fingers crossed that you will get lucky over the festive period. You will be nice and relaxed hopefully and it will just happen. Im hoping the same!...

oinker · 14/11/2006 07:55

Good morning ladies.......

I have just had a quick catch up

There has been loads going on.
This thread is sooooooooooo up and down with emotions.
I think everyone should make a pact and get on with the festive season.
We are all here because of a shitty year and sometimes even longer shitty times. We need to concentrate on ourselves too.
Just a suggestion.......
Lets babydance for fun too....
Like a few of you have already suggested...
Lets enjoy the festive season
Even I am going to try.... I have spent mega bucks on a holiday and will enjoy it regardless of the set backs at the hospital....

I realise all of this is easier said than done, but I'm going to go for it.....

Morning everybody.
Pinkranger -- sorry for PFN.
Edie -- sorry am new to this and have no idea. Is your pain getting better?
Uki -- still BFN?
Oinker very good thoughts. I am dearly hoping I didn't insult you with my last comments there were meant purely supportive but when I read them again I wasn't sure if they could be misinterpreted. If they were -- my apologies!!!!

I am so glad I met you all. I cannot express how important you have been for me in the last weeks. I guess there have been a lots of ups and downs as Oinker points out and the only things we can do is share them. I guess my friends, DP and even colleages very much want to help but just have no idea what I am going through. But you all know and just that makes a huge difference! Enough rambling -- but what I got by meeting you is the best Xmas gift I ever got!!!

oinker · 14/11/2006 10:07

I have accepted the fact that I will be guided by the hospitals suggestions. i can't force their hand. if they don't want to do the op so be it. On the positive side I can understand where they are coming from. If they did have to open me up during an op then this would delay my chances even more of having a pregnancy. I was told that my pregnancy would be a controlled one and that I would have to have a c section. This is because of all the treatment I would be on, aspirin, heparin etc....

oinker · 14/11/2006 10:08

d4phne ?????

I am going to re-read them...

hold on, I will let you know if I am offended....

oinker · 14/11/2006 10:10

ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Actually d4phne....

You helped me see sense.

Thanks.

oinker · 14/11/2006 10:13

Forgot to mention....

Chocolatepeanut....

Hun, I would not self diagnose.

If your blood results came back as normal then do not take the aspirin. it could cause further problems.
I have to take aspirin and 2 jabs of heparin a day when pregnant because of high V factor (thick blood). This is all prescribed.

GOOD LUCK....

d4phne · 14/11/2006 10:25

Oinker -- relieve!!!!
I do not know your full story (will look around in the previous threads) but I think everything suggested by a hospital should be taken with a grain of salt. Did you get a second opinion? I am fighting right now to get checked out privately but the GP doesn't want to write me a referral. (This is completely ridiculous at this point, especially since I was told at the hospital that my case is unusual and they do not know what's going on.) Currently my work place is finding out which rights I have and although I already changed my GP twice, I will be on it until thing will get resolved. Point is -- if you are not happy with the hospitals opinion it might be worth to get a second opinion to either put your mind at rest that this is the right decision or give you an idea about alternatives.

Oinker ? great positive thinking, re Christmas. I?ve no idea what is happening with my body at the moment, CM indicated ov last week, with a temp shift the next day, but since then temp is back at baseline again. So still at the BD-ing, hoping it will become clearer at some point. Not helped by the fact that DD is not sleeping well and I know that disturbed nights really make any temp readings invalid. Just have to see what happens ! But with move, Christmas and my brother?s wedding all happening before New Year, I think TTC will take a back seat for a while!

I do hope you have some positive news soon Oinker ? you always sound so positive and forward-thinking, you are inspiration to us all. {{HUGS}}

Edie ? I hope you BD-ed just in case (and not blogged all night ? D4phne has told me off for that before now !). My Taking Charge of your Fertility book says that it is possible to have a EWCM on a few occasions in any cycle, so just because you?ve seen it now, doesn?t necessarily mean that you have ovulated, so don?t give up the BD-ing just yet! It might have just been your body warming up and you still have to ovulate. Besides as we are all taking a conscious effort to have fun BD-ing, rather than practical BD-ing, I?m sure you had no intention of taking a break!!!

Pinkranger - sorry about BFN

Hope everyone else is doing ok? Firststar, D4phne and everyone else I?ve forgotten as I?m doing this off-line and can?t check!

duchesse · 14/11/2006 14:06

babyfettle- same problem as you minus the CM. I had my miscarriage on 19th October (ECPR) having discovered the previous day that the baby had died at 12 weeks 3 days ( I was 13 weeks pregnant).

Since I have not had reliable CM since having my Mirena removed three and a bit years ago, I use temperature as a gauge of ovulation.

The last few days I've been up as high as 36.8C (standard post-o temp), but am now back down to 36.3 (standard pre-o temp). No pre-menstrual symptoms at all. Am confused.

oinker · 14/11/2006 14:11

d4phne..

This is my second hospital. I was at Queen Charlottes first now I am at St Marys in paddington under the watchful eye of Prof Lesley Reagan. They have done quite a lot for me and are very positive. Their concern is my weight prior to op. And that is my fault.... Sad but a fact... I have to shift my fat arse and loose some more....

oinker · 14/11/2006 14:12

babyfettle.........

I am glad I can help....
As you all do me..

THANKS

babyfettle · 14/11/2006 20:11

Duchesse - have you tried grapefruit juice for CM? I've never really had very much that I've noticed and I've been drinking grapefruit juice everyday and although I've still to find EWCM, I've definitely had more CM in general. Sorry TMI, I know!! DH hates it when I talk to him about it - I know I shouldn't it, but...

take care all
x

Thanks all I have started drinking grapefruit juice at breakfast, but am not sure of any fertility signs at the moment, and whether any that I think are, aren't just the tail-end of miscarriage symptoms instead, so I can't tell if the g/fruit thing is working yet... Will keep on with it. It is delicious as well.

duchesse · 14/11/2006 22:25

Oh, and- opinion needed. I have started feeling queasy again.

I know that it is technically possible to get pregnant again soon after a miscarriage (mine was finalised on 19th October by an ERPC), but this soon? My temps do appear to have shifted their usual post-ovulation 0.5C, but have been a little erratic, and I'm inclined to think at the the moment that it's just pms+

We have been trying again, due to age + difficulty in begetting the last one + need to exploit post-miscarriage fertility

Has anybody out there had the experience of bad pms so soon after a miscarriage?
