MrsB, is it 'just' finances that's causing your DH to have a rethink about TTC? He needs to know that there will never ever ever be a right time to have a baby, especially financially. Who was it who suspects they ov'd twice in ten days? I don't think so. I think your body has tried to but didn't. OPKs alone cannot confirm ovulation, you would have to temp. I'm sorry I have forgotten to whom I am speaking here

Morning all. Feeling a bit better after another cry this morning.

DH is being great but also now calling my reaction a symptom as I am being understandably 'emotional' not 'crazy, irrationally hormonal' which I usually am a week before AF. Along with the spots, bloating, headaches, backaches and cramps I'm experiencing he is trying to keep me positive and thinks we've conceived this month. I'm still 6 days off being able to test so we'll see what the next few days bring. (AF is due Tuesday/Wednesday)

Ok, so I got a positive opk on cd13, neg next day (afternoon) so did not retest but continued on with dtd. My question is that I have day 21 bloods this cycle and wondering whether I should be having them on day 20? Can anyone please advise?

mrsb hope you sort things out with dh later. You do need to know he's in it 100%, as like you say- it really is so much to go through every cycle without full support and commitment. Hope everything is better later

I just feel and about it. We need to stop envisaging a 3 bd room house with a garden and make do with what we've got.

mrsb I agree with Purdey ...there will never be a right time to have a baby. Financially summat will always crop up. My nan had 18 kids in a 3 bed terrace (admittedly, the eldest lot moved out before she had the youngest lot) and my Grandad worked down the pit. You make do with what you've got!

Dizzy I reckon you'll be OK sticking with the 21 days bloods date... but if you are worried can you not phone your doc?

Many many hugs mrsb I had a similar issue with DH when convincing him to start TTC! He too his very affected by his childhood and the fact that things were financially precarious at times. He wants everything perfect for our child. Just making him aware of the impact that his past was having made a big difference. Have you explained that to your OH?

purdey the dual ov was moi. I did not temp as I am lazy, as previously discussed. Second "ov" came with copious fluid so am thinking that may have been it rather than first time. Which would make me, like, 3/4dpo rather than 15. Sob. If that ain't torture, I don't know what is.

I wish we could just carry on the same bus. That way those of us who don't get pregnant in a certain month wouldn't have to keep jumping between the bus they should be on & the bus they want to be on to see others get their BFP. I don't know about you, but I am scared of heights & find leaping between moving busses pretty scary!

Mummy was it you pointing out out the problematic open circles on my chart last night? Well, here is my chart when I use one o' them there temp adjusters. Yes, I know what I have said about these Satanic contraptions. The reason for the circles is that, during Nancy's illness I have been taking my temps any time between 4 and 5am (but always after four or more hours of sleep). My normal temping time is 7am. So, I've used the temp adjuster to show you what they may have looked like.

We dtd last night and I assume if it's not positive later it will be tomorrow. We'd planned to dtd later today and tomorrow, should we carry on as planned or miss tonight if no positive?
