Oh Beedles Sad too early to test I reckon!!

hinkyhonk · 10/05/2015 08:08

beedles I didn't get a bfp until my period was officially late I don't think. A couple of days can make a difference. It must be so tough though I'm sorry

Jaggythistle · 10/05/2015 08:59

Hi all.

I've not visited for such a long time again. Blush

So long that it's just over a month till babyjaggy 3 is due!

I've read back a couple of pages, lovely to hear all the BFP and baby news I've missed, brooking for awesomeness for everyone.

Molotov after chatting on several threads with you (not sure if I'd name changed but our DC2 are the exact same age) I'm also still saying go for the 'just see what happens method' My anxiety about whether no 3 was the 'right' thing to do has pretty much gone now. I'm still anxious about everything being ok, but I'm always anxious. :)

keepitgoing · 10/05/2015 13:09

oh fuck beedle, were all brooking for you x

congratulationssparks

Molotov · 10/05/2015 20:00

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, beedle. FWIW, my +ve pg tests always came after I was at least 7 days late for AF (so on CD35 for me). Days really do make a difference.

Thanks Jaggy Smile I do remember you and can't believe your dc3 is due very soon! Best wishes to you.

We haven't used dd2's pushchair for almost 2 months and it's about time I took it out of the car and sold it. It all just feels more pressing than ever.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 10/05/2015 22:11

Hey all, time to stop lurking. Had AF after hysteroscopy, and today is cd22 and after a few performance issues over the last 2 days, DH finally succeeded in DTD tonight, onky hours from cd23.. So brook like mad please that I ov before his sperm wither away! Cycles are long and not had many over the last couple of years due to BF, then rmc's. Have had 38, 40, 41, 42, 44 day cycles and one mad 54 day cycle. But have had increased cm yesterday and today, which I hope bodes well! So really need this to be no longer than a 41 day cycle! Or pin hopes on DH feeling able to perform again in the week which is unlikely as commute is long and tiring plus he can't finish if he feels under pressure...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/05/2015 07:14

Eek molotov I don't want to have to wait that long! Though as today is CD27 and I usually have max 25/26 day cycles AF is officially late, BUT I think that is due to the progesterone, I'm not reading anything into it.

loopy I'm brooking away that you ovulate today Smile

farfallarocks · 11/05/2015 09:02

beedle I think you have tested too early, esp. on the internet cheapies, at 12 dpo the only one that is really reliable is a frer. I had a positive at 10dpo with little far but this time nothing until 13dpo and then very faint, hence me being convinced it was another chemical!
Brooking no argument that you tested too early!!!

imps sounds like very convincing rat smacking to me!

sparks great news on the scan, is that how far along you were expecting to be?

Welcome currant, I have a 2 year old brooking baby and another one (hopefully) in the way. You are in the right place for lots of support and fun along the way and your BFP is guaranteed!

jaggy not long to go now, yay!

loopy that is great you are back in the saddle, we have had issues in the past too, sometimes taking the pressure off and not discussing it for a month or so can help but brooking no argument that will be unnecessary now you are diffed!

Withalittlesparkle · 11/05/2015 09:13

Loops you absolutely ovulated at the perfect time and I'll brook no argument!!!

Beedle if you're late will you test again soon(plllleeeeeaaaaassseeee)

Far - yes due to PCOS I've got irregular cycles so I wasn't sure how far along I was but assumed I'd ovulated two weeks before my BFP so we'd been working from that

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/05/2015 09:40

sparks I probably won't test until Thursday now. I'm away tonight with work (I do have an IC cheapy with me if I get desperate!) and then I'm only working Wednesday before a 4 day weekend. I'm really not expecting a BFP, I'm sure its just the progesterone delaying AF for a bit. Though far has given me a little bit of hope, it has just seemed lately that everyone has got really early BFPs even on IC.

hinkyhonk · 11/05/2015 12:59

Plenty of early bfns on ic here but bfp only when properly late (in fact as got bfn on day period due I had a bottle of bollinger with dh for his birthday) 2 days later = bfp

Withalittlesparkle · 11/05/2015 13:42

Beedles I should probably add, the earliest I've had a BFP is approx 14 days past ovulation

keepitgoing · 11/05/2015 14:42

only had a v faint bfp at 14dpo beedle, hasn't tested earlier but it barely showed on an IC that day x

Onecurrantbun · 11/05/2015 14:46

Molotov how old is your youngest? My eldest is 26 months older than DD2 and it's a nice gap but was hard at the start. Maybe you could use the puschair selling to open a chat with DH?

loopy fx for ov today!!

Beedles 12 dpo is early to test remember at this stage hormones are doubling daily if pg so 48 hrs could make all the difference. Think I saw average for first squinter of a bfp is 13.6 dpo

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/05/2015 15:09

Beedle I got my BFP at what would have been 13dpo using a superdrug early test which are meant to detect as early as FRER. I've just checked and I tested daily for ages after and used an Internet cheapy at 16dpo and the line was barely there and took ages to come up. I don't think they are sensitive at all. Keeping everything crossed for you x

Molotov · 11/05/2015 17:28

Imps, Loopy and Beedles, hoping for BFPs for you all this month Smile

One, my youngest is just 3yo. There is a 3.2y gap between dds 1&2. I had intended for a tiny gap between them (started trying again when dd1 was 7mo) but we had unexplained secondary infertility.

In retrospect, the 3y gap worked well for us and if we go for it, it kind of has to be now because we don't make babies quickly (and needed clomid's help last time). I don't want there to be more than 5y between dd2 and a dc3, so this gives us about a year starting from now. If I got pg this month, there would be a 7y and almost 4y gap.

The thing is, it's me who can't decide (issues to do with having a repeat CS (had one for dd2 in 2012) and needing to move house (live in a small but lovely 2 bed cottage). DH wants another baby. Not so much that he's pressuring me because 1) the disappointment would be too much if we desperately wanted another baby and we didn't conceive and 2) we are genuinely over the moon with our daughters Smile We know how very fortunate we already are.

It was DH who said 'I hate to be the one to say this, but ... Dd2 is never going to sit in that pushchair again. Let's sell it.'

I was a little sad and he could see it so he said 'Then we'll get a nice new pram for the next one and fill the boot with that Smile Wink '.

I saw my friend today who has a 4mo and I can see us having another one. It's just the practicalities that get in the way. Imps calls them 'gremlins' ...

Molotov · 11/05/2015 17:42

Also, DH has been very open about how keen he is to ttc one more time since Christmas. It went from 'I don't mind; it'd be nice one day' to 'Let's give it a whirl; it'd be lovely to have a baby again' (obviously with a view to having an actual other dd or maybe a ds: not just a baby).

He also knows me a little too well and has said he doesn't want me to turn around when I feel it's too late (so in maybe 5y time) and bitterly regret not at least trying.

Onecurrantbun · 11/05/2015 18:04

It's hard isn't it. If only you could Amazon deliver babies. I wouldn't mind if it said out of stock until X date, as long as I knew I was getting one one day! (Which I clearly will, now I've joined you ladies)

Molotov · 11/05/2015 18:48

Haha!! Love the idea of an Amazon baby! Grin

Imps9 · 12/05/2015 09:01

Just checking in for any emergency pee stick news from Beedle.

OP posts:
farfallarocks · 12/05/2015 11:21

Yes me too, brooking for beedle

Had some very sad news today that my NCT buddy has had a miscarriage, her 4th since trying for #2, and we were due on the same day so its all very poignant, I feel so sorry for her, life is very unfair at times :(

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/05/2015 16:55

sorry imps I didn't feel the need to use the emergency pee-stick this morning, but I haven't had any bleeding which is good :o I've been feeling slightly nauseous today but I think that is due to eating too much! I'm sort of expecting AF tomorrow as that is how long the progesterone worked during my last cycle (it has never worked until otd for me) but if AF doesn't appear I will be feeling quite hopeful.

So sorry for your friend far 4 mc in a row must be incredibly tough to deal with.

one you can put me on the waiting list for an amazon baby too!

Pastamancer · 12/05/2015 21:09

I have a NUS card so can get 5% off at Amazon :o

Imps9 · 13/05/2015 06:02

Yyy to mail order babies. Can I get mine off of notonthehighstreet.com so I can get something handcrafted and locally made??

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 13/05/2015 07:16

Good idea imps I'll have an organic, local-produced one too, preferably hand made from lentils :o

All I'll say about me is no news is good news, and I will almost certainly break out another IC tomorrow :o
