cups!!! how lovely to have lots of leave now, your jobs not late-pregnancy-friendly. brooking he will turn, lots of time. would you have a CS if he doesn't? I think you're meant to go on all fours aren't you... how exciting!! do you have all you need? bags packed? I can't remember did your sis have a girl or boy? do you have lots of her stuff?

no I've not decided on fet time yet. I feel v relaxed this time and just can't believe a second would be as gorgeous and delightful. I know I want another but things are getting easier... also I need to man up and stop our last bf before bed. never thought I'd be feeding an 18mo...

new job is going well Smile

beedle Sunday is 12dpo right? that's quite early but I know you hate testing in the week. I'm glad your boobs don't hurt if they do normally!!

keepitgoing · 07/05/2015 19:44

imps x post. yes, have voted Smile dh took kip with him this morning Grin

you are so diffed with twins

Pastamancer · 07/05/2015 19:54

Deffo twins Imps I can already see a bump or have you been eating all the pies

Keep why do you feel you need to stop bf?

Molotov · 08/05/2015 09:53

Hmmm, cups, I guess you have a point there about if I didn't want another baby, I'd know by now! I think just seeing what happens is what to do. I'm not getting anywhere thinking, and over-thinking is actually putting obstacles in the way.

Molotov · 08/05/2015 09:54

And sorry to read about how anxious you're feeling. What do you think you'd do if your baby remains breach?

Molotov · 08/05/2015 10:09

And yes, I voted yesterday. I'm so very disappointed that it looks certain that the Conservatives are in again - this time with a majority.

I'm mortified, actually. I think that Labour and Lib Dems losing so much power is a HUGE thing (although not a surprise for Lib Dem); as UKIP have taken the working class votes from Labour and SNP have taken traditional Scottish strongholds from them.

I won't go on as this isn't really the thread to do so, but ... what a shock.

keepitgoing · 08/05/2015 11:48

am also very upset by election result

pasta I have been advised to stop bf before a fet if we do medicated. even if we don't I feel perhaps wrongly it will affect my already paltry fertility. and I guess it looks like she won't stop of her own accord and maybe it'll get harder. she's dropped all other feeds at my instigation with no protest, so reckon it'll be fine. but Sad Sad Sad

keepitgoing · 08/05/2015 11:48

*as hormones would get through in the milk

Onecurrantbun · 08/05/2015 13:25

Howdy y'all I am so excited to be able to join you!! We are chucking out the jonnies and trying for baby #3 this month!

We initially wanted a bigger gap of 3 ish years but several friends have lpst babies or taken a long time ttc so we've decided to go for it. Sure 3 under 5 will be tough but we will be so very blessed if it does happen.
I am still bfing 15month old DD2 but My period returned a couple of months ago on a regular 32 day cycle so hoping it won't hold us back too much. Like keep we are just on the night feed (although I have been sneaking her a bit of boob when she's teething but only a few minutes in the middle of the night!) I'm hoping to wrap up over the Spring Bank holiday when DH is around to help out.

Pastamancer · 08/05/2015 14:06

That makes sense Keep. I only stopped feeding because I was pregnant and found it painful. I stopped daytime feeds by telling her that she could have moo cow milk instead so it was just the bedtime feed. That I phased out by not offering it to her, if she asked I gave it but if she didn't then I kept quiet and she just dropped it completely quite quickly.

One nice to meet you. I have been a Brooker since 2011 and have had 2 DDs in that time, DD2 is 7 weeks old now. It's a lovely supportive group and by joining us you have guaranteed a BFP. Whereabouts are you on your cycle?

Withalittlesparkle · 08/05/2015 14:26

Cup I can't believe your 34 weeks already!! How exciting!! And lovely that you get such a long break before hand, I had a month off before Twinks due date (and then 9 days after that) but it was so nice to just spend the days nesting and resting

Hi one and welcome!! I'm Sparks, my first brooking baby boy arrived after 12 months of trying, I'm currently 9 weeks diffed with my second brooking baby. These women are the most supportive you'll ever meet!

Cup yes I have an early scan booked for first thing tomorrow morning, morning sickness seems to be calming down so I'm keen to know that everything is ok

Imps9 · 08/05/2015 14:27

Hello One! A pleasure to meet you - thank you for joining us! In case you aren't aware, now that you have become a Brooker, you are guaranteed a baby. In fact, you are already pregnant and now just need to find a pee stick which agrees with this.

I am truly truly gutted about the election. I've had a knot in the pit of my stomach all day so far. I quite fancy just sitting on the sofa getting shit faced tonight but am still off boozing so will have to find another way of drowning my sorrows.

Hello One, I've not been on this thread for long. I've been agonizing for over a year about whether to ttc dc3 (we have 2 dds aged 6yo and 3yo).

Basically, I have lots of doubts but keep going gooey over babies. In fact, dd2 just handed me her baby doll and I got a little pang and held the doll like a real newborn Blush

I'm still holding it Blush Blush Blush

Anyway, babies aren't conceived easily by us but I don't want there to be huge age gaps between the girls and dc3. I wouldn't want to go through fertility treatment again soni reckon we've about a year to try ... but let's see if I can not get cold feet this month.

So today, I'm thinking to just dtd this month and let fate decide. Surely, a genuine BFN should alert me to how I really feel?

And Imps, I'm going to have a large glass of Wine this evening. (Maybe Wine Wine ).

keepitgoing · 08/05/2015 14:56

pasta that's a good idea, I think I will try not offering but giving if she asks. how old was your DD when you stopped? I offer, so not sure what shell do when I don't.
but maybe next week Wink

Onecurrantbun · 08/05/2015 15:00

Oh thank you all for the warm welcome

sparkle I used to post on a different website when ttc - but it seems a lot of boards are ttc #1 orientated. It's lovely to "meet" people more in our situation.'

pasta huge congrats on your new arrival. I remember around 7 weeks the tiredness hit me badly and the adrenaline had to carry me through!

At the pub with my best friend the other night she was a bit funny aboutme wanting #3. I tried to explain its not simply a case of wanting another newborn cos dd2 is a toddler now. It feels like there's a person missing...

Luckily my mum is super supportive - she had a third baby in the 1990s when it wasn't the done thing...she already had a boy and a girl too so no "excuse". As I have two girls I can always let people assume it's cos we're desperate for a boy (not the case at all... I just ache when I see the empty space in the car and want another little face in the rear view mirror)

keepitgoing · 08/05/2015 15:01

ooh sparks good luck for tomorrow. what time is the scan?

one hiya! I have an 18mo daughter through ivf, considering when to use my 3 frozen embryos for a second. hoping to be 4 months behind sparks again.... not likely

Onecurrantbun · 08/05/2015 15:03

keep I would love to hear how you get on - my girlie is a bit of a boob monster. I've heard of people sticking plasters on the ole nips and saying the milk has all gone, but not sure if 18 month old would have the understanding of that. Plus it sounds painful!!

Pastamancer · 08/05/2015 15:33

DD was 2 1/4 when I stopped and I still felt mean for taking it away so soon, she wasn't bothered about it.

Mol it is so obvious that you want another, are you waiting for someone to give you the go ahead? If so then GO FOR IT! :o

Imps9 · 08/05/2015 15:39

She's 18 months Keep????

keepitgoing · 08/05/2015 16:03

crazy huh imps! Grin she is soooo cute

how's the shagathon? Wink

keepitgoing · 08/05/2015 16:04

it's raining and I have to cycle home later...

Imps9 · 08/05/2015 19:37

Mr I did well this month thanks Keep Grin. Ov was at any time between Sat and Weds and we had The Sex on Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun and Tues. Thank God for holidays - we'd never manage that during working weeks.

Am hoping that ov was later rather than sooner as hopefully that will mean IVF can start cycle 3 rather than cycle 5.

Anyway, that was prob all a bit too much info but there we go!

Weekend plans all?
