Do you love being elbow deep in your cervix? Can you tell your cream from your egg? No, we're not talking Cadbury, we're talking vadge juice. Come and join the fingering fillies on our flight of fecundity (see what I did there?).

I think they only last 12-24hours unless they're bionic hehe

juneybean · 17/02/2015 13:40

nomio behave! Far too early!

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 13:45

juney what if they were still properly frozen when you popped them in and took a while to defrost in your uhm warm environs? Grin

juneybean · 17/02/2015 13:48

Haha maybe! We will see.... I'm always a negative Nancy, total pessimist, 2ww are a nightmare.

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 13:48

nom try peeing on something else? Your hand is usually a good bet as it happens often enough when when testing anyway, so will give you that warm familiar feeling of doing something useful with your two loo minutes. Grin

juneybean · 17/02/2015 13:49

Grin so true, amount of times I've weed on myself this weekend... Sexy beast!

Nomio230 · 17/02/2015 13:49

Give it a week & you ill be the same, Juney!

I forgot to mention that I too am very excited about Pancake Day! Grin
My favourite toppings are maple syrup & bananas, but I am a bit of a pancake whore & will basically eat them with anything.

juneybean · 17/02/2015 13:51

Oh I know nomio might have to get my mam to hide the sticks!

Sugar and lemon for me!

Hairstylisttoboris · 17/02/2015 13:51

aurora I don't like Nutella either...

Nomio230 · 17/02/2015 13:52

Will, not ill! My w keeps sticking for some reason.

MarysPrayer · 17/02/2015 13:55

Congratulations winter. That really is lovely news. Wishing you all the very best. xx

Sparkly I hope your appt is going/ has gone well. We're all eagerly waiting to find out how you got on.

aurora I am THE other nutella hater

Lock up your hpts I'm 10dpo here and symptom spotting like a mad woman! Have been having cramps and generally grumpiness so no doubt AF is watching me from afar and laughing.
Had some very strange twinges down there today. Feels like they're on my cervix, or there abouts. Anyone had anything similar? The only time its happened before was during pregnancy, but several week (maybe even months) along.

Nomio230 · 17/02/2015 13:56

Love your idea, aurora. That way I can imagine a bfp without reality telling me otherwise.

I have a really bad headache & sore throat today. Classic signs of pregnancy, right?! Hmm

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 13:58

excitedly forms coven with Mary and Boris

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 14:00

Mary, Boris and Aurora would be a very cool set of triplets. irrelevant

Hairstylisttoboris · 17/02/2015 14:04

We could form a club...

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 14:05

nom few people know that when your farefstorone levels rise and your colhasterine secretions diminish after implantation, it causes bacterial spores in your throat to rupture and thus gives you the classic pregnancy symptom of a sore throat. Fact!

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 14:07

I'd prefer a coven to a club boris on the basis of it allowing us to use brooms for things other than cleaning floors. Yes?

MarysPrayer · 17/02/2015 14:09

Yay! I had a sore throat yesterday Smile

Nomio230 · 17/02/2015 14:10

Looks like there is no doubting it then, aurora. You are a pregnancy guru!

MarysPrayer · 17/02/2015 14:11

ooh yes, I like 'coven'

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 14:20

Other classic pregnancy symptoms doctors don't want you to know about:
Itchy feet, caused by the embryo hijacking all your blood en route I your toes.
Someone commenting that your jersey/scarf/woolly hat looks lovely, due to the drop in bbt associated with implantation making you seem temporarily more cold this highlighting the relative attractiveness of the garment.
A sudden thirst for general knowledge about the animal kingdom, or an express but vague interest in the anatomy of hippopotamus auditory canals (if the latter, usually indicating you are breeding twins) based on reglestoron hormones from the pituitary gland reacting with umbililicus developmentus mucous released during prelim placental growth.

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 14:22

Coooo-oooveeee-eeeen. Coven. Coven. Coven.

Coventry.
Convent.
Get thee to a nunnery!

digresses

KnitFastDieWarm · 17/02/2015 14:22

10dpo here, feeling a bit achy in the lower stomach, grumpy as all hell and overexcited by the thought of pancakes later Grin - AF is just around the corner I think!

However....I'm on cd 27 of what is usually a 27 day cycle and by this point I usually have some spotting before AF unleashes her full majesty on cd28. So there is a tiny teeny bit of me that's holding onto hope!

Also (FAAAAR TMI) just before my period my CM usually has a kind of metallic smell to it, which I assume is cos of iron in AF blood, etc (does anyone else get this or is it just me who has a bionic fanny?) It's quite distinctive AND it's not here yet....crosses fingers and toes

Hahaha!
