Do you love being elbow deep in your cervix? Can you tell your cream from your egg? No, we're not talking Cadbury, we're talking vadge juice. Come and join the fingering fillies on our flight of fecundity (see what I did there?).

..what I meant about taking a pad was you should go armed with a list of the concerns you have, not make notes whilst he is speaking! Don't be afraid to keep referring to your notes - he will respect you for having done your research.

ShirleyPurds ha! I've spent most of the evening with dh looking at nice guidelines Etc so I know what to expect and what I am covered with! Only issue I have is the progesterone- I can't find info anywhere online on NHS guidelines. Will they boohoo my borderline 28.6? Most info online fertility websites suggest to sustain embryo implantation you should be over 30.. However I would be happier to have this checked and confirmed. I know some clinics go by a level of 20.. Which is low right? I have a list of my spotting/smear results/cycles/charts- although noted in nice guidelines they say that "bbt charting does not reliably indicate ovulation and should NOT be used" therefore I imagine the minute I bring the charts out the eyes will roll....!!!

Giddy thank you oh so much! I love pancake day!

Giddymamma · 16/02/2015 22:16

Sparkly123 · 16/02/2015 22:24

Ps Purds good job on the dinner when you are feeling under the weather!!

Sparkly123 · 16/02/2015 22:25

Oh and ps can someone please get a BFP... like, now! We need one on this bus!!!

mummyofonesofar · 16/02/2015 22:30

Someone will get a BFP soon. Boobs are feeling fuller & the middle of my bra didn't sit on my chest today, was lifted off. At 3dpo 'tis a symptom right? Hmm

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 16/02/2015 22:30

I got my progesterone result back = 37 apparently this confirms ovulation and is within normal levels.
sparkly hope you have good trip to the Drs.

Sparkly123 · 16/02/2015 22:33

Purple yep it does that's good! Thank you Flowers

Mummy that's a symptom yes! Ha ha. Who cares how early. You are on route lovely Grin

mrsb0710 · 16/02/2015 22:39

Still no + OPK. And a massive stress with dh about money. I feel as if its me who got us into a shit hole as I've been out of work since the mc. I start a new job soon, but its not helping right now.
Ended up in bed in tears, definitely not dtd tonight.
Sorry, just had to vent a little. So upset and stressed right now. Not exactly conducive to getting a bfp.

purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 22:40

sparkly, I don't care what NICE say; a sustained rise on a biphasic chart shows ovulation has occurred. It may not consistently pinpoint the day of ovulation correctly, but it is largely the dog's ball bag.

If he starts waffling about your 28 prog score being 'fine' (which an IVF clinic would tell you it most certainly is not) then I suggest you point out that you have just miscarried and you want prog supplementation. Spotting is NOT normal.

Thanks Sparkly I know I'm going mad already. DP recons I'll be pregnant as we've had enough bad news this year. We shall wait and see. Good luck at the docs tomorrow. You know your stuff just stay strong in there with your foot firmly down on what you need Flowers

Sparkly123 · 16/02/2015 22:50

Purds agreed. I don't care what NICE say about a lot of things.. But I know the consultants do.. I also know many a consultant have the god complex which is the issue as unless you know your stuff in precise detail they will knock you down! But I'm hoping to be strong about it all. The only issue with the mc is I've only had one and again I feel the general response shall be: it's a 1 in 5 chance there's no evidence it relates to your progesterone.. Sorry I'm waffling here and thinking out loud. I'm probably overthinking a lot too. I just want to have an answer for everything! Ha.

Thank you so much for your advice .. And everyone for your support. It makes me feel much better. And I'm so sorry to block the thread up with my woes!!!

mummy you are so right. Good news is a coming for you!!! Positive thoughts!

Sparkly123 · 16/02/2015 23:59

mrsb I'm so sorry you have had such a rubbish night. I know all about money worries so I understand. I'm so sorry you feel so upset. You will be at your new job soon and that will also divert you from the roller coaster of TTC a little.. We are all here if you need to vent. You will get your BFP, just hang in there. This will blow over and hopefully things will be better for you both tomorrow. Hang in there for the OPK... Flowers

woodpigeon123 · 17/02/2015 01:08

Sparkly - hi love, I've got my CB supply kit too.... Potty and all! Was planning on starting using my ov sticks from CD 9 or 10 I think... In the instructions in the ov box it has a little guide... Use average CD and then take some away! Helpful, I know.

Well, after 4 days of lateness, AF finally showed up... So I can officially start the CB study but am also officially off this lovely bus.

Thank you so much ladies for all your help, support and advice... (I do realise it's not the Oscars)

auroraboringalis · 17/02/2015 06:32

Eek purdey I didn't reply to your reply earlier. Soz girl! Grin And thanks!
In response --- If I had a surge but didn't ovulate on cycle 0, then my af could have started at any time right, that's what you're saying? So an lh surge doesn't correlate with cycle timing? Sorry I'm struggling to phrase this well but in other words you're saying that if one does surge and does ovulate then one would expect af to appear in around two weeks, but if I did surge but didn't ovulate then I'd expect af anytime not necessarily in two weeks? I.e. the surge is not a factor in the cycle length?

Anybody (uhm purdey?) know if you can ovulate without an lh surge? I was doing two opks a day this cycle so although it might have happened I'd be surprised if I missed the surge complelety. I had faint lines but never a positive. And ff thinks i ovulated (well i think it is spouting pure drivel (see post above with chart) but i can't help obsessing!Blush) When I Google "can you ovulate without an lh surge" everyone just goes on an on about you missing the surge due to timing of opk and not if it is a physiological possibility. Hmm

Morning Smile

Purdey good work on all that cooking!

Sparkly, good luck at the appointment today.

So I got positive opks 14th/15th but still haven't seen a temp rise which I'm a little surprised about? Usually I see a rise 2 days after my cbfm peak... Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Have a good day everyone, X

spinningirl10 · 17/02/2015 07:58

Morning Grin

Sparkly, I'm really sorry af arrivedThanks good to hear you sounding positive for next cycle and lots of luck with your appointment today.

Wood, sorry af arrives for you as wellThanks

Sammy, strange that you haven't seen a rise yet. Have you posted your chart?

Purdey, hope your family enjoyed the meal.

Juney, how's your chart looking?

Temp a bit lower today, wish af would hurry up now. We went to a country pub last night that we like. We don't often go out for something to eat because dp usually works nights. Our student picked the most expensive thing on the menuShock

purdeybirdie · 17/02/2015 08:21

Aurora, no it isn't possible to ovulate without the LH surge because it is the pituitary gland's command to the luteinising hormone to surge that causes the ovarian follicle to rupture in the next 24-36 hrs, causing an egg to be released.

Spinning, would you like your student killed? I know people Hmm

Sparkly, what time is your appointment? I am praying you are encouraged and feel far more buoyant when you return, having had all your worries taken seriously Thanks

AFM, I am shortly to be lain on a GP's(Dr Chu) bed with her finger up my bottom. That's if she decides to investigate my bowel naughtiness there and then. I hope not. I've had a rough night with the baby and - more importantly - haven't shaved my crack in quite some time. I'll be very surprised if she can find the opening without a machete.

After being humiliated by the Chinese at anal ping-pong I shall be catching a buzz to th'ospickal where I shall have mt 'day 21' blood test to see if I've ovulated. I love going to th'ospickal. You take a ticket and it's usually summat like No.346 and they're calling in No.7. The vending machine is A-star: Wispas; Walkers worcester sauce crisps; Drifters; fruit Polos; After Eights in a tube. I can then sit for..oooh..an hour? whilst texting th'usband to say, 'Nightmare. Loads of diabetics in. Won't be home 'til Friday. Or summat', knowing full well that No.345 just got carried out in a body bag.

Anyway, I'll see you all in a bit...

I'm only 11dpo (cb opk smiley) so very early days.. I've been cramping for a week which must have been implantation.. I just feel pregnant.. I so hope it sticks..

I'm so excited I cried.. It's just means so much having lost dd.. Im one step closer to having that happy ending that I never got with her.. Bloody crying again!

Will be buying a FRER later on so will post again with that..
Attached it in monochrome as well.. o you can see it more clearly.. Very faint still..

Much love to all you ladies.. I just needed to share... Xxx
