Do you love being elbow deep in your cervix? Can you tell your cream from your egg? No, we're not talking Cadbury, we're talking vadge juice. Come and join the fingering fillies on our flight of fecundity (see what I did there?).

Bowie and mummy, can I see your charts?

Boz, ooooh! Location is everything, right?

juneybean · 16/02/2015 11:15

should i be worried about that spike? i was so hot all night and kept waking up every hour, so should i discard my temp reading?

Beansprout30 · 16/02/2015 11:15

Sparkly, sorry for the big temp dip, an unwelcome start to your day. Go get that twirl Smile
I'm quite sure I'm out as well, I hate the end bit of the 2ww!

mummyofonesofar · 16/02/2015 11:26

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Mummyofonesofar Here is the link to my chart Purdey Looks normal but no idea why I have had this message saying I have ovulated early. I thought I would ov cd16 ish but didn't until CD18 plus it is making nearly all my temps empty circles. A few nights of odd waking times but this morning was 6am when my usual waking itme is 6:20 so no idea why it doesn't like it?

mummyofonesofar · 16/02/2015 11:27

Bean Your chart is still looking good. I think you are pregnant looking at that. I would leave it another day and test again. Fx for you.

woodpigeon123 · 16/02/2015 12:05

Hello!

Just to update stats, I'm still waiting for AF which is now 3 days late..... But have 3 BFNs and low temperatures so I know I'm out... It just hasn't been confirmed by the arrival of AF!

Aagghhhh!

BowiesJumper · 16/02/2015 12:10

This is mine purdey. I only got the proper bbt thermometer on Friday so before that it was rounding to the nearest decimal point I'd imagine, so not as accurate. And I do wake at different times. And why am I so hot??

It's my first month temping so hopefully I'll get better at it!

juney glad your date with the boys went well! At least you don't have to worry about them leaving the loo seat up and peeing all over the floor Grin

epskie we're dtd every other day.

Still haven't had a + OPK. I'm worried the mc has screwed everything up. Rationally, I'm sure it may just come later in my cycle and I need to keep testing. I'm trying not to stress!

purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:30

Beansprout, I don't think I've ever seen a more obvious pregnancy chart Thanks

I can't say that spike doesn't bother me, Juney. When you woke up every hour, what were your actions? Arm out of bed to pick clock up? Toilet trip? Stroke of the Persian mog?

Woodpigeon, I'm sorry Sad

Mummy, FF have deffo got your ov date right. The open circles is difficult to explain, but here goes: If we have a certain number of temps that do not correlate with our default waking time FF will give them open circles. If you then have a run of temps that are all outside of your default waking time, yet fall within another half-hour segment, FF will automatically take that as your new default time. This is not clear is it? I don't know how else to explain it, except that FF will look at your waking times, see that too many fall outside of your 6am-6.30 time slot and will reset your time to suit the majority of those that fall, say, between 6.15 and 6.45.

purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:35

Bowie, you definitely haven't temped and it matters not that you used two different thermometers. Do you usually have long cycles? Would you consider keep using cheapie opks this cycle to see if you get another surge? That previous surge you got this month certainly didn't result in an egg being released so I'm thinking this might be an anovulatory cycle.

spinningirl10 · 16/02/2015 12:35

Sammy, pleased things are better for you.

Bean, great chart. I think you're pregnant, the ic's are crap at giving false readings and 10dpo is still early. Get another brand for tomorrow.

Victoria, hope the mum and baby didn't hang around for too long.

purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:35

*That is supposed to say you definitely haven't ov-ed'!

OP posts:
juneybean · 16/02/2015 12:37

Stayed in bed til 7am took the temp at 5ish.

I've panicked and done the second insem now... Mew

BowiesJumper · 16/02/2015 12:38

Thanks for looking purdey. My last few cycles have been 28/29 days, but I have had longer ones in the past. I'll try another OPK when I get home.

I was scared I hadn't ovulated Sad

Nomio230 · 16/02/2015 12:42

While you are at it, Dr Purdey, would you mind looking at mine. Pretty please!

Ff has changed my ov date at least once & I don't know what is going on this cycle. I still have lower back pain & have had a few twinges, but I think that af will probably show up in the next day or two.

purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:45

Juney, I think you've done the right thing.

Mummy, I'm determined to explain this properly: If your default waking time is 6.20am then every temp has to be taken between 6.20 and 6.50 if you are to get a closed circle. If you have too many temps outside of this range (ie 6.50am onwards or up to 6.15am), it will change your waking time to better suit the temps.

Sparkly, hoping against hope AF stays away.

OP posts:
purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:47

Nomio, FF are now spot-on. I hope AF stays away or that would be a disastrous LP length. What length are your cycles normally? Is back pain a usual PMT sysmptom?

OP posts:
Nomio230 · 16/02/2015 12:51

Sometimes the first day or so, but not normally beforehand. My cycles are normally 26 days when I ov on the 14th, so I think my lp is a bit on the short side. I have ordered some B6 to try & make them a bit longer.

I just want to get this weird month out the way.

mummyofonesofar · 16/02/2015 12:52

Ok thanks Purdeypie Maybe I will chnage my default waking time myself to see if that helps. Wih the ovulating, I agree that I ov'd on CD18 as FF says but when i go on detailed interpretation I have got a red message saying "Early ovulation: You seem to have ovulated earlier than usual which given your usual luteal phase length may cause you to experience a shorter cycle than usual. This is already taken into account in FF's predictions though". But though I have been tracking AF for 8 months, this is my first month trying and temping so do ov date has ever been charted. It is giving me this as it thought I wasn't ovulating?

purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:58

Nomio, I really wouldn't expect AF yet. Have you been ov-ing on CD14 even whilst on Clomid? How do you know you ov on CD14? Isn't this your first month of temping?

OP posts:
purdeybirdie · 16/02/2015 12:59

Mummy, FF are talking codswallop there. Ignore them. They're probably hungover after the office party last night.
