This is a thread for those diagnosed with high or very high natural killer cells and trying to concieve or are pregnant and taking steroids/intralipids etc Newcomers very welcome

Oops meant to actually say something... I had my first intralipids at 7 weeks if that is helpful. Dr S says I have a gluten intolerance that triggers an immune response to pregnancy rather than highNK cells though...

Hi drttcm welcome to the group. I have high nk cells and I have to have intralipids at 4,8,12 and 16 weeks - I think you would need to ask him about going away when you find out your results as it may depend on what he finds as to whether you need to be here or not.

Second trimester - 7 miscarriages, one DS, expecting second! Dr S said I had high gliadin antibodies. Was on pred, cycolgest, baby aspirin and intralipids. Now only baby aspirin!

Thanks hula! I'm 20 weeks now. The fear doesn't completely go away but I'm feeling much more hopeful! I'm still following everyone's progress and know there will be more bfps soon! Lots of love to you all!

Thanks Drttc! We should maybe add ages too. I'm 38. My experience has been that if you keep at it, then it does usually work out in the end. Beyond bloody hard though!

I decided to go for counselling yest. See if I can unload from stress and stop me being obsessed with ttc! Was really helpful-anyone inclined I would go for it!

It's been lovely and sunny here too - been for a two hour walk around some lakes near to where we live - was lovely! Feels like spring is on it's way finally!!

I've been thrown out this weekend as I was advised to do my ov trigger shot this morning at 10am which means I will ovulate about 10pm tomorrow eve (normally have to take it in the evening) it's really thrown me for when to do the BD!

Hi drttcc. I've been with him for 8 months. I went to see him in July after mc no 3 after nhs tests showed nothing was causing them. I then started ttc again in August/sept. After getting preg quickly 3 times I haven't managed to get preg so still waiting. Mr s wants me to do SO i think, but im not so keen...so waiting it out...But don't worry it's not his plan thats not be getting preg, as I haven't followed it for the last few months! And nearly all the ladies on here have gotten preg following it !

Rosa (38 nearly 39yrs) - 3 MMC (11.5, 6.5, 7.5). 6 months ttc on treatment. On complex programme for high NK, cytokines and thyroid antibodies (hydroxy, pred, intralipids)- had allergy to Humira. Also on SO programme.

Trying, why are you not keen on SO? I know absolutely nothing about it... Is it clomid?

The other day I thought to myself 'how cool would it be to try clomid and become pregnant with twins!' Of course that's silly and I'm sure it's not as simple as that... But having multiples would be great after all the heartbreak!
