Thanks Boris. I'm trying to time testing for a day when we don't have to go to work straight after FMU. Gives us time to process either way.
So that leaves me tomorrow at 11dpo or next Sunday at 19dpo. If I get to next Sunday without af getting me I probably don't need to test Grin

sarkymare · 06/02/2015 09:15

I have AF pants. They are full briefs which I bought a few sizes bigger. They practically come fight up to my armpits. Sexy right? Wink

CD-29 today. AF should have come yesterday. Still no sign today but I was having sharp cramping Pains in my left side yesterday so I imagine it won't be long.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 09:41

Austral, I'm so sorry Sad Will you start temping, do you fink? Don't sex yourself out this month and don't panic. You'll ovulate soon if you get that tot off your tit

Giddy, you and Astral proper crack me up Grin

I have visitors this morning: a mother and her two sons (aged 1 and 2). Don't you just hate kids? Grin

WinterBabyof89 · 06/02/2015 09:51

Sorry to those whose AF arrived :(

Still waiting to ovulate here If cb ov tests are to be trusted.. Cd 13..Not much in the way of EWCM and no ov pains.. Before my second baby I had my positive opks on cd 10 so I've either missed it, or body has changed..most likely the latter..

I don't have period knickers, but I do have some 'granny' style ones which I bought for after my births..so bloody comfy at night, but I would never wear them out of the house ha.

MrsG 8/9/10 is still quite early.. Fx you get a bfp soon xx

tessiegirl · 06/02/2015 10:06

Good morning ladies!!

Sorry to those with AF. Nasty bitch.

I am 9/10dpo and had a big temp dip this morning Confused but it is snowing here so enjoying the view from my desk! Will pop over to our neighbours for a Brew in a little bit and she has an adorable four month old little boy... Envy Sigh....

I also have AF knickers! Those bigger style ones you get in packs of 5 from M&S!! Rest of the time its singly sold pretty styles....!!!

No worries Purdey Smile

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 10:08

Winter, that's what I'm thinking.
For those of your that have had babies before and had cramping before your BFP - was it like your AF cramping.. Or is it like an ache or a fullness? That's the only way I can describe it!

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 10:10

crazypuglady testing tomorrow with a IC or frer might get you a result. I can completely understand why you don't want to test and run! It's difficult isn't it?! No simple formulae gaurented to make life easy in this game!

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 10:11

MaMa, my dad loaned us the money for IVF last time and then, after only having paid back £1,000 (it cost £5.5k including flights and the nine-day stay in Czech - plus the brilliant embryoscope), he waived the loan saying: 'Yer can't put a price on a babby's 'ead. I want nowt more from yer.' Bless him. I couldn't possibly ask him for another 'loan' and so I directly asked my mum (they are divorced) if I could have some of my oft-mentioned inheritance money before she dies (she really doesn't have money; it is largely her home my sister and I stand to inherit and that's only a small terraced house).

Ugh, enough waffling....mum said 'no'. First she said she had no spare actual money (she's keeping £6k in cash in reserve for 'my funeral'. I asked her if she had considered donating her body to science as then there are no funeral costs Grin) and then she admitted she wouldn't want me to 'waste' my inheritance should the IVF fail (despite my baby having been conceived first try last time). So..in between wailing and gnashing my teeth about Nancy being an only child and growing up alone without siblings as me and DH are definitely going to die of alcohol-related illness from our days as addicts, and Nancy being only 18 when I'm 60 and her dad 62 (who is a smoker. Bastard)...we are trying naturally Hmm

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 10:21

MrsG, my pregnancy in 2012 (ended in mmc) I got a BFN at 12dpo and then my bfp at 13dpo.

MaMaPo · 06/02/2015 10:25

Oof, that's a journey you've had Purdey. I do wish you the best of luck but I think you're right - we need to keep raising our heads and looking around instead of getting too focused on the BFP.

That said - this could be your month.

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 10:26

Oh really, purdey?
I'm thinking about just letting the weekend come and go and see what happens.. Due on Monday I think? Just can't shift these cramps!

I'm usually a cramp as soon as I wake and by lunchtime I've come on... So to be cramping on and off since Monday is strange! X

WinterBabyof89 · 06/02/2015 10:33

I was convinced AF was arriving before I found out I was pregnant.. Had my sanitary towels set out on my bedside cabinet for easy access for mid-night toilet rush, but AF never came. Tested two days late and voila, a lovely bfp.

So yes cramping can be a good thing! Just bloody annoying it can be similar to AF pains! Hoping that's not the case for you x

BowiesJumper · 06/02/2015 10:37

Morning all!
So I'm cd7 and raring to go now af has buggered off.

I'm going to dye my hair tomorrow because OBVIOUSLY I'm going to get pregnant this cycle so won't be able to for a fair while after. Wink

MrsG23 · 06/02/2015 10:48

Winter - I've been convinced ALL week! Maybe I am? Especially with this super itchy, cold sensitive boob!! Ergh... Our bodies love playing with our minds don't they?

Wishing123 · 06/02/2015 10:59

The last time I had a cycle this long was bck in May..it's been 4 weeks n 3 days since my period n im having cramps n I bleed straight after normally! AF is a bitch n if she's guna show she needs to get her arse into gear! I felt like this when I was preg last 3times so that's why I thought I was but bfn lastnight says different! It's makin me miserable! Xxx

PaddingtonFromPeru · 06/02/2015 11:36

Marking place.

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 11:51

Ah wishing its rough. Really hoping you do get a BFP and a sticky one. Keeping everything crossed for you. X

spinningirl10 · 06/02/2015 11:53

Purdey, your comment about your mother donating her body to science made me lolGrin I love the name Nancy.

59sound · 06/02/2015 11:57

Checking in! Sorry to those who have had AF arrive today.

6dpo and not feeling particularly positive today. Bit concerned that we stopped dtd too early and so missed our opportunity this month. Gah!

Probably just tired because I was up all night with poorly DD. Maybe Brew and Cake will help

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 12:04

59 sending you more Cake sounds like you may need an extra slice

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 12:06

I also love the name Nancy if I ever get a bump I shall call it Nancy in honour of all the wise advice from purdey

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 12:10

So sorry to all those with arrival of AF... Flowers only a couple weeks until you can go again...!!!

Wishing sorry you are in limbo, there's still hope!! Keep strong Flowers

Winterbaby I was exactly same when I got a BFP. Convinced AF was coming - all the same symptoms!

Austral for you Flowers

Yes to big period pants! Lovely Grin

Spinning thank you, still feeling pretty rotten today but not as severe as yesterday so progress! I presume I'm 2dpo?! Who knows! My temp barely risen today but I'm going with it.. This is weirdly the most relaxed I've been post OV yet. Still time though...!

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 12:11

Ninja don't you be counting yourself out yet!! 9dpo is early mrs. Sending Flowers

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 12:12

I love Nancy great name Purdey pie

crazypuglady · 06/02/2015 12:14

Thanks Boris it's just not convenient is it this FMU thing?

Also, MrsG, I hear you on the weird 'full' type feeling. I was describing it as an 'awareness', it doesn't hurt but I just become aware of the fact I have a uterus!
