Hello ladies,

Last bus looks full up. Unless there is a new one that I can't find...

Hello ladies,

So sorry to those who have had a visit from the witch. Eat chocolate and it won't be long until you can start dtd again.

Welcome to the newbies, fingers crossed that your stay on the bus will be nice and short.

6dpo by my calculations (and cb opk) but 9dpo according to ff. I hope I'm right otherwise our dtd schedule wasn't quite as good. Still, we'll see!

Quite relaxed this time, hope that is me focussing on other things and it isn't me giving up hope. :(

Allthefours, if I were you and having to put up with those absurd cycle lengths I would go to the GP and demand Clomid.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 12:59

Thanks for the nice remarks about my tot's name. Her middle name is Marjorie in honour of my mum, which is pretty appalling but tough titties My mum is a legend and I want her to be remembered.

Wishing, can I get all Rambo on your ass? You are not doing yourself any favours at all by losing 16lbs in three weeks. That is an unhealthy weightloss which can only be achieved by starving yourself somewhat, no? You sound a fab woman..why are you torturing yourself? Here, have these Thanks and for the love of the cantankerous Keith Chegwin...eat some Cake!

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 13:02

My visitors have gone. Thank frig. The mum's a bit of a hippie and is currently force-feeding her tots Iranian food with pomegranates and puy lentils and coriander and some other unutterable shite. Poor kids. Probably turn out to be serial killers.

tessiegirl · 06/02/2015 13:04

So...just got home and had a small brown smear when I wiped but nothing since...this together with the temp drop this morning which is still above the coverline but only just, I really hope this isn't spotting before AF this early as never had that before at 9/10 dpo.... Confused

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 13:06

MrsG, I would love to see your chart. Is that annoying? If so, completely ignore me and turn the telly up; I soon get the picture Grin

Sparkly, you too. I wanna see if your last two temps are greater than the previous six

Ooo, and I wanted Queenie for my girl's name but not a single soul on the planet agreed with me that it was quaintly old-fashioned and trendily kitsch. In fact, adjectives used to describe it included: 'vile'; 'monstrous'; 'chavvy'; 'gay'; and plain old 'fucking horrible!'

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 13:08

Purdey Grin maybe I would like the pomegranate hippy? Would we get along perhaps?! Ha ha. Why Iranian?
Your girls name rocks. Love it!
Today's cake for you is Cake ginger and orange . Are you almost at the TWW yet how many days to go?!

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 13:10

Purdey pie my chart is not filling me with confidence..

The February bus rumbles on - only stops are Valentine's Day, Pancake Day and BFP-land. Ding Ding!
Giddymamma · 06/02/2015 13:10

Oh purdey, ha ha, I genuinely think that food sounds lovely! At least we agree that Nancy is a lovely name. Grin

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 13:27

Yes, Sparkly, you would love my mate; she is a total sweetheart but a bit of a tree-hugger who only lets her boys play with wooden toys and twigs and stuff. No plastic musical Vtech crap. Her boys have never tasted sugar either. Not once. Ever. Poor sods. It is puzzling because they are the most illness-stricken, badly-sleeping maniacal tots I have ever encountered.
I think you've ovulated, Sparkly, don't you? Thanks for the cake. I saved it until the visitors had gone and ate it, alone, curled up in the foetal position in my 'cake cupboard' under the stairs. It's where I want to be buried.

PurdeyBirdie · 06/02/2015 13:29

..oh, and I'm on CD15 today with a probability of ov-ing on CD17. AI tonight, tomorrow, the day after (ov day) and the crack of dawn the morning after ov - just in case the egg was released less than twelve hours earlier Smile

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 13:34

Honestly .. What would I do without you lot to make me laugh so much!! You wouldn't believe what I am doing right now.. Standing at my upstairs hall window as the sun is blaring in.. Basically just standing there soaking in the vitamin D like a mentalist! Ha ha.
Mmm your pal sounds like the extreme though too. How has she managed to let no sugar pass their lips?! I can't understand it!
The prob with my temps are that I woke up earlier today after one hour sleep took it and it was down at 36.33 went back to sleep and took it usual time and it was 36.46 which I've put in and hoping is correct but who knows?!?! I dunno whether to just AI tonight or not!! Got some mild niggles today on right hand side ovary area so who bloody knows!! It's a total waiting game this month I think.... Not that every other month isn't too!! But I'm extremely clueless this one.

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 13:40

Purdey you have it down. That's a well timed schedule! Mr Purdey is gonna produce the goods!

mummyofonesofar · 06/02/2015 13:46

Sparkly - Purdey will correct me but I would think the later temp after better sleep and at the right time would be right. So if it stays up tomorrow then you have ovulated yesterday?

mummyofonesofar · 06/02/2015 13:49

Also thanks to Giddy I had a call off clear blue people today and they are posting me some information to sign and then i get to be in the trial Grin posh cbdm to try out!! - which I obviously won't need as I'll be pregnant before it arrives

Giddymamma · 06/02/2015 13:53

Yay mummy! Free pee sticks! :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/02/2015 13:54

If I were to go all tree - hugger yo would have a Lebanese food diet, subtly nicer IMHO than Iranian. But I'm not a tree hugger as I like my scampi too much and my chicken nuggets.
sparkley think we should all be getting our vit d fix with you. I have a skylight over the shower which allows me a fix of vitamin d every morning the sun shines - so at least once a year.

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 13:55

Thanks Mummy yes I hope so fingers crossed. Just that my temps don't seem very high! Got quite a crampy feeling today in lower pelvis which is weird so dunno what's going on! Oh and same as you- thanks Giddy Clearblue just rang me too and sending the form for me to sign and then that's me getting the OV kit too..sounds alright doesn't it! But yeh.. We will both be preggers by then so won't be needing it...Wink

MarysPrayer · 06/02/2015 13:57

Yay! We're in business again here in Maryland! Grin Today is Cd12, dtd last night, got an almost (?) positive on an ic opk this morning so will continue to dtd for the next couple of days. Does this sound ok?

Quick question to those who use ic opk: does the test line ever get darker than the control line? This morning's (11am) was almost as dark but definitely a bit lighter. I'd tried not to drink too much as well and my urine was pretty concentrated (sorry tmi for some)

Glad to here the migraine fog has lifted sparkly. Do you find they follow your cycles? Mine do, although weirdly I've found that not using tampons makes a huge difference.

Purdey can I raid your cake cupboard please? I'm all out of MarsBars.

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 13:58

Boris ha ha once a year! That's about right! I have family in Italy and go every year .. Everyone is telling me to go over now but not really well enough at moment to go on my own but that would sort my vit D right out! My levels are so low! This shower thing sounds really interesting... Tell me more!!?

Rainy34 · 06/02/2015 14:01

Hi everyone , got over my strop last night, thanks for listening, talked to a friend in work and she said she was trying and nothing was happening so the month she fell they had done the deed every day on there fertile week and two or three times if it fell on the weekend, she asked me how many times we dtd in our fertile week and I said once , she shouted at me so I got a new plan for next month

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 14:02

Marys!! Why did you have to go and do that! Now do I not only have a craving for twirls a la Purdey but Mars bars too!!! Grin no I don't think they are cycle related . Headaches yes but these severe feel sick to my stomach type no, totally random. How strange about the tampons??? Really really strange?! Wonder what that's about! Good dtd plan by the way! Yipeee for positive OPKs. My lines on ICs are always about the same as the control, however this month- my wtf cycle- it's way darker! Which has never ever happened before . If it's about the same colour my guess would be positive.

Sparkly123 · 06/02/2015 14:03

Rainy so glad to hear you are a bit brighter today. And a new plan sounds good!! We will all have our fingers crossed for you!!

MarysPrayer · 06/02/2015 14:06

Sorry sparkly! Smile I'll do my best to not drink gallons of fizzy pop this afternoon and maybe try another opk. I'm a bit new to this opk mallarky.

Your cycle sounds likes it has fallen right back into place - good for you. Smile

mummyofonesofar · 06/02/2015 14:10

Sparkly I liked the bit that if we do fall pregnant we get shopping vouchers and if we don't we get conception goodies Grin win - win!

I don't really get my vit D fix, home to car, car to office and so on so forth! Will be nice when I am walking the dog in the light again.

Glad you're back on track Rainy your friends plan sounds tiring but so worth it - simple guidance is you can't get pregnant if you're not having enough sex.
