Morning all, does anyone know how sensitive the cheap one step pg 10m tests are? I fancy POAS tonight for a laff - will be 5 days before AF due so am thinking I need one of those earlier tests?

Just marking my place very quickly before I have to go to work! Got my peak smiley this morning (first time I've used opks!) so all very exciting. DTD last night and will again tonight.

Dpo 9 here and absolutely no sign of any symptoms. Might gear myself up for the March gin wagon.

Twinkle they are really sensative 10 whatsits. However that far in advance and not with first wee of the day they probably won't pick anything up. Can you hold off until You have fmu 4 days before af is due? Or is that me being a spoil sport?

hair thanks know you're right. Will be patient and wait a couple more days. I will get spotting very soon so that will tell me it's game over anyway - feeling just like I do pre AF .

Can't remember who said it to me a few weeks ago when I was confused about the whole ttc thing they said they just knew as soon as they got their BFN that they were ready etc. So true - I will be devastated!

Hi everyone. Sorry to those getting AF.

babybump #bfp due 24/2 due to late AF last cycle.

I didn't know there was birth trauma counselling. My GP just invited me to a check up, noted that I had put on weight between pre pregnancy and 8 week post pregnancy check up thanks arsehole asked if I was depressed then signed me off. I was induced. It was horrific. 2 days of labour. 2 hours pushing due to inexperienced midwife making me push when the cervix was still over babies head. My room being tipped upside down because the anaesthetist lost his keys! Lots of crying thinking it was me at fault. Have ordered my maternity notes from previous hospital to help me process it and avoid whatever went wrong this time round - like being in hospital! Could help others?

twinkle that was me last month. I was soooooo nervous about the whole TTC thing but had convinced myself it was our month. When AF came I sobbed like a child and realised I was ready.

Will a test work at 10dpo? I am suddenly burping a lot and nearly threw up this morning for no reason but then felt fine again almost straight awa!

Wishing, if no AF will you wait and test again but with fmu? I totally understand if you'd wait though. How gutting to have your hopes raised then dashed like that.

Husband just came home in a really low mood. We've had an awful few months. What I wouldn't give to present him with a bfp next week. But I mustn't think like that as it's too much pressure.

So it's back to saving up all my dark coloured underwear for when AF arrives. Anyone else do this or am I just bonkers?

I have special AF underwear MaMa, dark cotton female boxers. Rest of the time I do try to wear sexier underwear I promise!

All of my undies are dark coloured and 'shorts'. I like my bum well covered up! :-) I don't have any sexy undies as it makes no difference to dh. He has no turn ons or fetishes!

I have pale undies and dark undies. No difference otherwise!

I definitely do this mama! I've got big black pants that I wear during AF... Little thongs and pretty lace pants for when I'm not.

crazypuglady the tests will only pick up the hormone about 3 days after implantation. Implantation is usually at 7-10 dpo and normally at 9 dpo. Theoretically you could get a positive at 10dpo or possibly earlier if your body was fast however that's unusual.
I find the more the months go on the more heart breaking bfns become. So now I don't test so early both because it's a waste of money when there's unlikely to be anything to pick up on a test; also because a little bit of my heart and sanity breaks :( I'm 10/11 dpo here and my app is telling me to test tomorrow.

mrsg I Also have AF pants AND AF pyjamas. Big, black, comfy ones.

Ttc#1, been off the pill since beginning of Jan. Feeling a bit under the weather with lots of tummy grumbles so maybe AF on the way.

Anyone had BFN at 8/9/10dpo and still gone onto BFP?
I'm so crampy with a bit if spotting at the beginning of the week and that's it. Boobs are SO itchy which is a completely new thing for me - which makes me think I am definitely pregnant! :(
