As its getting quite late on now, CD21, I don't think I'm going to ovulate this month....

Is that right? Can that happen?

Chart for Purdey and any other charting gurus!

Despite a stronger OPK line a couple of days ago, now back to very very faint again.

Am I just out for this month? cx

Morning Grin

Wishing, yes you take your temp orally at the same every morning after 3 hours uninterrupted sleep. You have to do this before you move , speak or get out of bed.

Mama, yay for bloods. How long will you wait for your results there? Also, good news that ivf would be covered, should you need it. Of course you won't as you'll get your bfp before thenGrin

Yay, we shagged in the middle of the night! I think it was closer to 4.30am before he came home. I couldn't get back to sleep so I don't think I'll use today's temp. Dp says we can fit in a lunchtime shag as wellWink

PurdeyBirdie · 04/02/2015 07:33

Sparkly, I am not exaggerating when I say the higher up the chain of command you go in Reproductive Medicine the more averse they are to charts! But ... you must take them and shove them under the consult's nose. Those temps are significant; they have meaning and they tell a story every month of your cycle. If he tries to tell you that charts are not reliable and not scientific simply reply that it is the best tool at your disposal for taking charge of your fertility and you would like them to be looked at and discussed. Don't be made to feel stupid!

spinningirl10 · 04/02/2015 07:47

Haha Cariad, loving your symptomGrin
Ooh I think you should get a pug, I'm sure you can work your charm on dhWink

HairStylisttoboris · 04/02/2015 07:51

caridad yeah forgetfulness is now officially a symptom! Must be if two of us have it. #NewScientificFact

HairStylisttoBoris · 04/02/2015 07:52

caridad just checking did you get home ok or do I launch a search party for you?

PurdeyBirdie · 04/02/2015 08:03

Hurrah, Woodpigeon! If those temps stay up for the next two days then ovulation can be pinpointed at CD21 Smile Keep temping and we'll see how your luteal phase pans out..Did you stop having sex after CD18? That's a shame, but you've still rumpy-pumpied twice in your fertile window. Let's hope your hubby's sperm is atypical and lasts more than the typical 1.5 days Hmm Oh..and thanks for being lovely yourself Smile

Spinning, your DP is a trouper!

PurdeyBirdie · 04/02/2015 08:06

P.s..Woodpigeon, I suspect you simply missed your LH surge a couple of days ago. Do you test twice a day? Get some internet cheapies, then you can test all day long!

Grin

CD13 here and the first AI session will be tonight. I am 4/5 days away from ov.

MaMaPo · 04/02/2015 08:26

Spinning, no idea about when to get results. I'll also need my day 2 bloods done so if AF arrives then I'll do that then book in to discuss with the GP.

mummyofonesofar · 04/02/2015 08:28

Lets hope this Feb bus gets some goo luck again soon. Who is next to test? I got a lovely reminder from my M. Cycles app - "Ovulation day is coming" Yay!.

We were going to do EOD but seen a few thread talking about SMEP, can anyone explain it to me? I am CD9 now, FF predicts I will ov on CD14, Ovia predicts CD16. What should our shagging plan be?

I love reading everyone's "pregnancy symptoms" I often find myself doing this, even before ov.....Nice to know we can all be crazy together!

Hairstylisttoboris · 04/02/2015 08:40

purdey I'm practising my cheerleading chants for Monday. Go Puuur-Deee

Other than that 8-9 DPO here. Really want to test. Really. But must not test. Must.Not.Test.Yet. Must wait. Gaaaaaah.

PurdeyBirdie · 04/02/2015 08:48

Mummy, the SMEP is pretty arduous, in my opinion. Are you using opks? Don't rely on an app to tell you when you ovulate! If you know for a fact you ov on CD14 or 16 then have sex as often as you can between today and CD17 - not every day at first but certainly the three days leading up to ov. Here is the SMEP if you are particularly libidinous or a masochist

Sperm Meets Egg Plan

PurdeyBirdie · 04/02/2015 08:51

I'd love to know why the SMEP tells you to have sex three whole days after ovulating Hmm

Boris, if I provide the Twirls and brews would you accompany me outside the bedroom yelling encouragement at th'usband? Do you look like Michelle Keegan? If so..you can stand at the foot of his bed Grin

Hairstylisttoboris · 04/02/2015 09:08

purdey I'd be happy to offer helpful encouragement and helpful comments to your husband. Sadly I look nothing like Michelle Keenan, I'm blonder and slightly more rough round the edges, from a life lived to the max. I can stand outside the door and pretend to be Michelle, he would never know?!

Wishing123 · 04/02/2015 09:15

Morning girls ??
Well I'm still not on yet, iv had stomach cramps bf back ache every night for 4 nights now and usually if I get cramps AF shows up the next morning but hasn't. Cd33 I really want to test again with a clearblue but there so expensive! Gina wait til Friday n get a cheapie xx

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 04/02/2015 09:18

Thank you purdie for explaining my temps. Just when I think I've get the hang of it something happens to confuse me. It means my DTD on cd 9 wasn't a waste after all Wink. Temp today was a huge 36.74 so hope it stays there for ever!
Don't do it boris (testing early).

Twinkletoes007 · 04/02/2015 09:21

Morning folks. CD22 for me and I think 5 days post ov. Had cramping for 5 days but feel normal today. Another temping disaster this morning - broken sleep and it showed a fall to below base line. It may not have been a temping error but I'm choosing to discard it because I don't like it! I can't see how after v high prog level on Monday CD20 (57) it could be on it's way down so dramatically. I'm guessing the only way to know is to have another prog test. And so purdey this could explain the early spotting I get - high prog immediately after ov but then it falls v rapidly.

mustbemad71 · 04/02/2015 09:23

Spinning bloody good effort with the 4am shagging!

SMEP exhausting - although I need to impose wank ban here so maybe DP could manage it. I have caught him wasting MY sperm in the shower, unacceptable!

Hairstylisttoboris · 04/02/2015 09:31

purple in sitting on my hands.

How I don't get fired every month for being so useless in my TWW..... I'm so distracted, hormonal and ridiculous.

PurdeyBirdie · 04/02/2015 09:36

Boris, th'usband loves a bit o' rough which is precisely why he married me Grin

Austral, each time you shout 'Hallo' I am taken back to my Malory Towers days and I begin to look for my old lacrosse stick and salivate at the thought of tonight's midnight feast with Darryl and Alicia Smile

Hairstylisttoboris · 04/02/2015 09:38

Oh Malory towers. That takes me back.

mummyofonesofar · 04/02/2015 09:42

Purdey I am not using opks, first cycle ttc but am temping so I will know when I can put the stockings down and sleep! Last cycle trying to be more in tune with my body I had ov pains on CD16 then had a 15 day LP so that seems the most accurate guess.
