Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

That sounds like a plan.. :)

God, posted a picture of my pregnancy test asking for advice - and they are royally laying into me... I feel emotional about the whole thing anyway and they are accusing me of trying to fall pregnant on purpose when my husband doesn't want a child yet...

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/02/2015 16:31

frantastic it doesn't sound awful at all Smile

ohr fran i totally see where youre coming from. if your dp knows the situation with contraception then he doesnt really have a leg to stand on. do you only have the one child so far?

mrsg i saw the other thread. the dip test did look flooded but the one in the casing looked just like mine and that was definitely positive. i didnt do a cb digi any earlier but it was 4 days later when i got bfp on ky cbdigi.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 16:41

oh and mrsg some of the replies u get on here at times amaze me. i posted a couple of weeks ago in aibu about something trivial but that was annoying me, i was actually trying to do a good deed and got slated lol. scares me at times.

i wonder who posts on here sometimes too dont know if i live in a particularly poor or run down area but what they were saying did not fit in with where i live.

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/02/2015 16:44

What was the other thread mrsg?

OP posts:
MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 17:00

Yeh.. I just thought I'd get a few more eyes on it. I fully understand what they are saying.. But I'm still worried. I'm certainly not the first person to be my situation..?

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 17:15

i cant quite remember ur situation mrsg but whatever it is people on an interner forum never know the fully story only snip bits that come across so its hard to base a proper opinion on that.

if i postes about my dp on here at times he'd sound a monster but hes not he has lots of good qualities and we mostly work well together. its just how it is. id try not to worry too much.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 17:48

Aww, thanks for your understanding guys.

MrsG... Like the others said, don't talk it to heart. I remember the last time I was PG. I posted on here about it and one person was really disparaging, she said that she felt it was unfair that I'd fallen PG so easily when there were other people trying for years and nothing.

What pissed me of about it was A) I have PCOS, and it was sheer luck. When tcc with DD it took 18 months and I was only 21. And B) it may not have been planned but it was very much wanted and I was in a position to give it a loving childhood, so really, it was not for them to judge the circumstances.

I have two DC... A DS who's 18 and DD who's 20.

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 19:13

Fran - thank you for the back up on my other post! Some people can just be so critical!
I have no idea what is happening now - I think the test was a duff one.

TMI alert - I've been known to bring AF on by DTD in the past... Thought i'd give it a go to see if anything happened... Low and behold, AF is here with a vengeance.
This whole thing is so so stressful.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 19:45

oh mrsg im so sorry if that is the case.

i darent dtd incase i bleed how silly is that.

fran ignore everyone as well. no need for it. hope u r both ok.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 19:45

No worries MrsG... They were like the conception gods the way they all laid into you. Someone had to back you up.

So, are you feeling any better now AF has arrived?

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 20:01

Well... I bled bright red and thought ok - AF is here. Then put a tampon in but I have no cramping. I'm usually rocking and taking all the painkillers under the sun when I come on... So, tonight will be the telltale night.
If it is AF - I'm kind of glad that I have some sort of cycle again - 35/36 days is now an average for me, which is a positive.

And yes Fran - it was as if I'm the only one to ever be in that situation! I'm not an idiot. Which is what I was made to feel like!

Frantasic · 10/02/2015 08:37

The line is defo darker this morning... No need for squinting and it came up quicker this morning... Starting to believe it now.

Woke up with nausea this morning. And sore boobs last night. Smile

gingerbreadmam · 10/02/2015 08:58

ohr fran all good signs and a darker line it is definitely real then. are you going to do a cb digi?

ive got nausea too but not too bad. can see boobs changing colour a bit but no soreness yet. they killed last time so i know that will come lol.

doing everything to distract myself from looking at prams etc ha!

Frantasic · 10/02/2015 09:52

Morning... Yeah, gonna nip and get one in a sec. The nausea has eased off a bit now I'm up, thank god. I called my GP after the test this morning. Still trying to figure out a game plan of telling DP he's pregnant, which is my big concern now... Well it will be if the digi comes back with a BFP.

I'm the same, really trying not to look at anything pregnancy related... Not even apps. Too scared incase I....

gingerbreadmam · 10/02/2015 10:23

lol well i habe downloaded mothercare and boots this morning and added two prams and a chico next to me crib to my wishlist. woops! i really held out there didnt i?

ooh yes go and get one then let us know what it says. i wouldnt worry about dp nothing he can do now Grin just enjoy it.

Frantasic · 10/02/2015 10:31

Digi BFN.... I know they aren't very sensitive though. How many days did you leave it between first BFP and doing the digi?

gingerbreadmam · 10/02/2015 10:40

i got first feint bfp thursday aft then 2-3 weeks on digi on sunday aft. didnt try any inbetween so dont know if it would have shown or not.

Frantasic · 10/02/2015 11:11

Well, I might not test again for a few days... Maybe test again on Friday and see if it changes. This happened last time... Got BFPs and the a BFN on a regular clear blue. I finally got a BFP on a Digi four days later. Apparently they are only sensitive above 50ml/U. The strips I have been using are 20 ml/U. I hate science. Lol

mrsshinn88 · 10/02/2015 11:24

Hey everyone who's still waiting for AF? I'm due on the 14th driving me mad. It's Highley unlikely I'm preg this month but I'm hoping according to my app we did the deed a day after my window ended but I'm hoping that I'm lucky and ov late

gingerbreadmam · 10/02/2015 11:41

well fran i wouldnt take the digi serious. i have some 10mlu ones sat in my bag wish i could teletransport them to u for reassurance. this poas business is hard work ha!

Frantasic · 10/02/2015 11:48

Lol... The last 24 hours have been odd, that's for sure. I need to step away from the pg tests for a while. I have crazy heartburn now, which is making it hard to think of anything else now.

gingerbreadmam · 10/02/2015 12:19

do you have an asda nearby? theres pick up four days before af and r quite reasonable, 2 tests for £4. sorry i am encouraging you but we need to know dont we Grin haha!

i have just spoken to the dr for some reassurance following the mmc and made my booking in appointment too. dr said book it now as it is a positive step forward. you are at no more risk of a mc than anyone else so thats reassuring.

also speaking to the council today about housing as that is an issue for us, dp is being his usual difficult self about it all though!

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 10/02/2015 16:10

Hello again everyone Smile

Congrats to the BFPers, and love to everyone who's had a big bad BFN Flowers

I'm on CD21 and 8dpo, and I've just (oh my word, this is so embarrassing) had a sobbing, snotty meltdown over the BFN I know is coming my way this month. I had cramping for 6dpo and now nada. My boobs are fine and I'm not producing the buckets of CM that t'internet has been telling me I would if I was up the duff. I've been nauseous and exhausted, but that'll be PMS. I know a BFP after Cycle 1 was a big ask but I'm disappointed nonetheless, as is my DP.

Sorry to be a misery guts! I'm definitely going to hang out here more often, it's lovely to have some company in the madness! X

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 10/02/2015 16:12

(I should probably admit to testing this morning. And yesterday. And the day before... Blush I've now given the supply of pee sticks to DP and told her what days I'm allowed to have one!)
