Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

Just showed DD, she can see it too! Eek

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 11:55

I can defo see a line when I hold it up to the light now... There is a little bit of colour in it, but very little. I'm not sure what to make of it really. Glad you can see it too. At least I'm not going mad.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 12:03

just keep doing them until you feel confident it is a line. a line is a line as they say.

thursday morning i did one bfn did one thursday pm and got similar to yours. i think i will give a tentative congratulations now but kp updating anyway ha Grin congrats Thanks

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 12:31

Holy Shit! I called Tommys for advice... She basically said it's a BFP regardless of colour and faintness. She laughed when I told her I put a photo on here.

Thanks though... We can be bump buddies on mumsnet if all goes well. :0)Flowers

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 12:39

who's tommys? well there we go there. fabulous news.

yes i keep wanting to join the october ante natal thread but might hold off until scan if i can manage or at least booking in.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 12:47

Well, we have both been there when things go wrong so if you wanna chat while you wait for it to feel safe, you know where I am.

Tommys is a pregnancy advice line they are really good. I phoned them a couple of weeks ago when I thought I was ovulating and had DTD. I said I'd update them but when I started bleeding last week I thought I'd misread it and it was AF. She was saying that the bleeding doesn't have to be light and pink or brown, it can be light a short period. And the cramps can be quite sore apparently, which mine were.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 13:07

oh fran thank you that very useful. u joining the board off holding off too?

id never heard of tommys useful to know thanks.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 13:51

Your welcome.Smile

I'm gonna hold off. After the last time I don't want to be in a position where I tell people and then have to tell them the worst has happened... Again.

How do you feel about your BFN? I bet your as nervous as I am?

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 13:52

BFP even... Doh!

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 14:06

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 14:45

petrified in one word. and also a little sad that i cant jump in with all the excitedness last time as i know what can happen.

i told close family and friends almost straight away last time, dp wont even tell his parents this time. its a really sad position to be in. i am obviously chuffed to bits and keep reminding myself everything will be fine but its stll there niggling away.

will have a look now mrsg

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 14:49

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 15:38

Defo MrsG it's how mine looks today. Exciting.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 15:42

I'm the same ginger... I told my mum, but in a matter of a fact way and followed it up with we'll see. I want to be excited, but I'm terrified. Not sure whether to say anything to DP because I'm scared I'm wrong or it's a chemical pg.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 15:50

oh i would definitely tell dp if anyone he will understand. plus itll be a nitemare to kp to yourself.

its scary isnt it. i just keep telling myself you were just a statistic last time this time will be fine i know a bit earlier too so can look after myself more. once i get to 6 wks ill feel a bit happier and hopefully get some obv symptoms to help me out.

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 15:54

Are you guys sure..?? Even looking at the first 2 - I can't see anything on those ones???

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/02/2015 16:03

A clear blue digi I says not pregnant...???

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 16:09

I can defo see a line @mrsG. Can you still see it on the test?

The last time DP was not great about it, we bearly spoke about it. This massively puts me off saying anything at this stage. We aren't in a very committed relationship, and to be honest, weren't even trying. I would love a LO and would do it alone if I had to. I am 42 and have my own set up and I probs won't get another chance. Does that sound awful?

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 16:15

No, it's disappeared now.. And the clear blue digi says not pregnant?

Completely understand where you are coming from Fran! Maybe wait until you get your head around it and sort it in your own mind? X

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 16:15

Different HPTs have different sensitivities. I know that clear blue digi's are not very sensitive. Give it a few days and see what happens.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 16:20

Thanks MrsG. That's why I'm not rushing to tell him. He's a teacher and is at work now anyway. And he's rubbish to communicate with when he gets home because of marking and lesson planning. If I'm still getting BFPs at the weekend I'll tell him then... That'll give him the half term to get his head round it.
