2 week wait. anyone else impatient?

Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

I'm approx 10dpo (didn't temp, just OPK) and been having some light cramping over the last few days. Also - and sorry, TMI - but am constantly wet down there...having to use pads. Anyone else??

Did another OPK this lunchtime as I had the urge to pee on SOMETHING and it came up with the strongest positive I've ever seen in seconds, even before the control line showed. It was much darker than the control. Thought that must be a good sign so got the FRER out and - BFN.

Still hopeful as my cycles can be quite long and I've only had two AFs since stopping bf. But no more testing til Friday at the earliest....

Whatsforye, I'm now 9 dpo and have a new symptom! Like you, I've been having cramps this evening. I googled it and it sounds like the right timeframe for implantation so that would fit. On the lookout for implantation bleeding! I had that with ds and that was when I knew. I'm holding off testing until the weekend when af is actually due; I don't want the disappointment of a false negative (been there before with dd and was in bits cos I'd been so sure I was pg - and of course I was right!). I'm also a cheapskate and don't want to have to buy another test as I only have one!

Babybear, I realised after I posted that of course you will be due November if you already have a bfp, not starting off the December thread!

Ha, I know 2down - you'll get me all excited... However, I also usually get cramps just before AF. Not usually for this long, though.

My one huge giveaway when I got pregnant with DD1 was swollen, sore, rock hard boobs. Got my BFP 2 days later.
I haven't had that yet, so still convinced I could be out. But all pregnancies are different, right?

Well I'm totally confused today. I woke up and noticed straight away that my boobs were no longer so achy and sensitive and they seem softer, less engorged. So that's had me worried all day. Disappearance of symptoms can't be a good sign, right? Then this afternoon I got what could be the implantation bleeding I was expecting. Tmi alert: 1 wipe of brown blood, and it was kind of mucussy too. And it's generally been damp down there today. I've also had mild cramps all afternoon. So now I have no idea if the blood was a good sign, or the start of spotting before af, which isn't due until the weekend so would be very early. I guess if it's the latter then I'll have my answer I'm the next couple of days :-(

Do you normally have spotting before AF? I Always assume anything unusual has to be vaguely positive...

The boobs thing is strange, but might not mean anything. All symptoms come and go. It ain't over yet. When are you testing? I was thinking Sat a.m. If I can hold off that long.

I do normally have spotting before at but not this early, usually just a couple of days at most. I was planning to test on Saturday too. If this the start of af I reckon it will be obvious by then. At the moment though, things are inconclusive. I'm not giving up hope just yet!

The blood has turned red and I've had cramps non stop all evening. I think that's me out. Good luck to the rest of you! x
