2 week wait. anyone else impatient?

Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

Thats a shitter cheesymonster its very frustrating. Everyone around me seems preg as well. I thought i wouldn't have a second but once youstart getting broody it just takes over.

Just all got to keep our fingers crossed for eachother xxx

I went to see my gp today for something else and had a chat about home pregnancy tests. She said please absolutely don't test till your period is delayed. So I mentioned all these "early" tests. Basically then we went on to have a fascinating conversation on how long it takes for Hcg To show in blood after implantation, and then how long that shows in the urine via the kidneys, and that despite the skewed stats, the majority of women do not get positives I till after missing a period simply because if everything goes like clockwork even then detectable levels of Hcg in the urine take a certain amount of time. I mentioned FRER etc so GP said have you seen their prices? So can you see why it makes sense for them to put a six days early on the box? Because then they sell six tests and more for ten quid each to every waiting woman.

Anyway, just saying. Gp took a lot of time to talk specifically through these steps and I was quite impressed.

My period is also due 6th of feb. time is going sooo slowly.

Gingham I had a MMC around the same time as you. This is my first proper cycle since. I haven't got my hopes up to be honest, just didn't feel as 'fertile' as I usually do when I ovulate.

Likewise creme. I had a 10w MMC on the 10th of December. I got my first period on the 9th. I'm feeling kind of hopeful. My DS was conceived within two weeks of a 6w MC so I'm trying to stay positive.

sarkymare and cremedecacao - my mc was on the 10th too.

I don't know if I've ever felt "fertile" so I haven't got any feeling to compare to. But I have been reading Marisa Peer's book - Trying to Get Pregnant and Succeeding. It's very much about staying positive, thinking positive things and kind of mind over matter. So I figure may as well try to be positive. I say "try" because it's difficult sometimes, but I'm giving it a good go.

Sarky- weird, my first period was the 9th too! I found out about the MMC on the 8th and had medical management on the 13th at 9 1/2 weeks.

I just feel less physically fertile I suppose. Not much EWCM this month, but I used to get quite a lot. Still hope! Even if it isn't this month I'm sure it won't be too long.

Ah I found out on the 10th at 10+3 and had everything removed with forceps later that day as a matter of urgency type thing.

Do you have a 28 day cycle? When do you plan on testing?

Normally I am spot on 28 weeks, but ovulated on CD16 this month, a little later than usual. I will test 4 days before AF is due I think, or earlier if I have any symptoms. Sorry to hear about your experience Flowers

I think I ovulated around the CD13/14. I'm not sure though as it was my first time using OPKs and I cannot be sure wether the test line was actually darker than the control. Confusing things they are.

I plan on testing on Monday. I will be about 11DPO so the earliest I can test really. I have 3 tests in my drawer and I am just itching to use one now! I know It would be a BFN, of course it would be but I'm itching! Itching I tell you!

Must resist!

I'm trying SO hard to hold out longer because the BFN yesterday (10dpo) is not helping with my thoughts I'm out this month. I'm symptoms galore truth be told, but as I was reading on here and also online (www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/lutealphase.html ) it makes sense why you experience symptoms during the 2ww.

I find myself feeling something and saying "Oh that's new!" and then second-guessing... "what if I just didn't normally notice it?"

Trying SO hard to be rational but failing :P 11dpo I think today. I think if I get a BFP it'll be Sunday but at this point I'm less hopeful with each passing day... I'd have to get to next weekend without AF to know whether I've really skipped or not (I think I should be 34 days but skipped Nov so my app has changed)

Some really helpful stuff on here. I've had mild nausea at various times of day, dizziness, prickling feeling in boobs and been totally exhausted for about 10 days now. On the one hand, I'm sure it's way too early to get any symptoms but on the other, I've never had any of this before with af (and in any case, would PMS last this long?!). I cracked and tested today. BFN of course. Not 100% sure when I'm due as normally 28 days like clockwork but it was 34 last month, which would make me due on 4th Feb. Will try to hold out until at least 5th. Good luck everyone! I've been feeling rubbish all week- tired, snuffly, sore throat, feeling a bit sick... which is how I felt before my last bfp, BUT I know it is much more likely to be the bug going round at work!

I am out almost. Temps have dropped yesterday and today, 13 DPO, and period cramps and tearfulness have set in.

What does amaze me though is the massive, unprecedented AF cramps and temperature dip I had 6-8 DPO - I think fertilisation happened but for some reason a 3 day long attempt at implantation failed, which hurts.

Fx for all others here :)

Dare I say I have just had about 20/30mis of cramps at 10dpo. Really don't feel like this is my month. The only symptoms are creamy CM and no sore boobs. I get sore boobs for a week before period is due but nothing yet. I do have my pre-period pimples though - I get 3 or 4 on the one side of my chin and they are here. Only other thing is creamy cm. No implantation bleed.

This morning when wiping I got a little bit of brown. Admittedly a little excited as that doesn't normally happen to me, all other experiences have been red spotting the night before period starts, then a light flow the following day up to medium for 1 day, then light for 2, then spotting (yay for TMI!).

About 2 hours later at work I felt something and decided to check. This time it's bright red when I wipe so, "I'm out" I think, so says MN anyway...

Hey... I am on about day 6 of TWW. However mines a little confusing as I'm not sure when I ovulated, and technically my AF is already late if I track my period from the length of my last cycle but I KNOW I ovulated very late this month.

Me and my partner got busy last weekend and I had signs of ovulation just before (Saturday afternoon)

In my previous 3 pregnancies I had symptoms very early, like within days. I don't know if I being a nutjob but I have some symptoms today that are very noticable. I have had hyperemisis with all of them. Sadly the last one ended in miscarriage despite HE.

Fatigue... Went to a funeral today and could bearly keep my eyes open and have felt like it all day.

Nausea.. Just waves like I'm gonna puke and then it goes off.

And just generally feeling odd. Can't explain it any other way.

Oh and I had right sided pain in my pelvis last night.

I keep checking to see if AF has come, but there's no sign. Not even PMS symptoms. I am driving myself crazy at the moment.

we are trying to conceive again after an ectopic and mc - with our first baby it was so much fun trying to conceive and now it feels miserable LOL - currently 6 days before period due and didnt ovulate since last mc. Had to start buying cheapy tests off amazon as my peestick addiction was costing us a fortune. Good luck everyone xxx

whoops i meant to say didnt ovulate for last 2 months (I hope I did this month as my OPK said I did but will get gp blood test back soon to see if I did or not)....otherwise id be on the wrong thread lol x

13 DPO today I thought and just realised I got my ovulation date wrong in all likelihood. Apparently your O happens within 36 hours of the OPK turning positive? Well my OPK turned positive on Saturday afternoon CD13 and I assumed I ovulated that day when in fact I may have ovulated Sunday or Monday judging by right sided twinges on those days.

Anyway, today is CD26, which could be 13 DPO or 11 DPO. Huge AF cramps as has been happening off and one in the tww, early morning pink spotting when I wiped, so I stuck a pad in. It's been 12 hours now and nothing since then. Not a spot.

I just want AF to come and the next cycle to start.

I caved this morning and got a clear yet feint BFP at 8/9DPO. I'm waiting until the morning to test again with FMU incase it is an Evap.
