Anyone taking part in the Response Medical Trial or any other medical trial?

Hi, I'm taking part in the Response medical trial and wondering if anyone else on here is too?
It's been a very difficult year and a half and I have had three consecutive miscarriages, 1st in Nov 2013 at 12 weeks, 2nd in July 2014 at 7 weeks, 3rd in Nov 2014 at 9 weeks. It's a 4 month waiting list for my Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic so I'm taking part in the trial as want to keep things moving as worried I'm running out of time (I'm 36 this year - although I was 33 when first started TTC) but I'm in the 2WW and feeling terrified.
There's a lot of extra support offered as part of the trial but I'm feeling a bit lonely and out on a limb about it.
Anyone else on the same boat or had medical trial experience?

Welcome Kazz.

I started having random nausea from about 5half/6 weeks, buts it's completely random. Any time, and nothing and something can set it off!
Girlie, try not to get hung up on all the symptoms! When I was pregnant with DD I didn't get sickness at all really. I'm surprised I've got it, but my friends rib me and say maybe it's a boy!!
Everyone's different, maybe you will get sickness, maybe not. My boobs were tender first, but eased off a bit now.
I've really been trying hard to just plod along, and not over think things! It's hard.

Hope everyone is ok. X

great news kazz welcome x

Great news Kazz, here's hoping your egg also takes a bank holiday and no BFP this month to ensure your place on the trial.
girlie my symptoms are pretty sporadic. I was worried I had no symptons til about 8 weeks, except tiredness and big site boobs. Then sickness arrived with avengance one evening and is still lurking. Never in the morning, it just comes on throughout the day and my dinner time I'm having to be horizontal and have zero appetite. The tiredness was the first symptom abd I had to come home from work a few times on my lunchbreak for a nap.
But it does vary massively from person to person, there's no timeframe.

'Site' was meant to be 'sore' boobs.
And I didn't mean timefrane comment to sound patronising. There is something comfirting abd reassuring about having symptoms as it shows baby is having an impact and doing what it should. I always clutch at symptoms snd I'm grateful for my evening nausea. But looking forward to the glowing energised phase of pregnancy that is supposed to happen at a point!

Thank you! Excited to be properly part of the group. Feels like I'm doing something positive to move stuff on.

Girlie - atm I've no idea. We have really ttc this cycle and I'm lucky that I conceive very easily - I just can't keep the little beam growing! But on this occasion I'm now hoping it hasn't happened. Gotta stay positive. What will be will be. Confused

girliesaints · 02/05/2015 08:23

Come on smiles, feel like doing a smiley chant for everyone!

girliesaints · 02/05/2015 08:27

In a supportive, didn't mean to be condescending way!

clairemorgan81 · 02/05/2015 08:28

No Smile. here yet either March. what day were you last month again? come on smileys

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 08:34

Cd16 and cd17 last month claire. I'm doing ic in the afternoon so hoping it will come this afternoon. What day were you last month and what are you on? (I'm sure you've probably said this, but I've a memory like a sieve at the moment)

clairemorgan81 · 02/05/2015 08:39

same here can never keep up with everyone! I was same day 16&17. I'm only on CD13 today but last month I was late of so I was hoping it comes a little earlier this month. I'm doing ic in afternoons too. last month I got Smile. on day 16 at about 6pm so fingers crossed same might happen for you today x

clairemorgan81 · 02/05/2015 09:05

I've just done an ic ov test and looks practically positive, clear blue one wasn't. are ic usually more sensitive does anyone know?

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 09:15

Yes. I think 20 as opposed to 40. Maybe i should try it too!

clairemorgan81 · 02/05/2015 09:26

so does it mean your ov or not? you should try x

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 10:08

The ic need to be as dark or darker. You probably won't ov for another 12 to 36 hours anyway, so i imagine you'll get a positive smiley later or tomorrow morning. Eek.

Choccywoccydodah · 02/05/2015 12:02

I found the ic to be more accurate for me. I didn't get my Smile until the Tuesday, but I actually felt ov on the Sunday (was due pos ov test the Friday), so we carried on dtd as per normal test. Lots of people the Internet have said the same but then others the CB has worked for them do as long as you dtd around your fertile time you'll be covered :)

clairemorgan81 · 02/05/2015 16:13

I've got my Smilenow on the clear blue one march. fingers crossed you get yours tonight or tomorrow.x

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 16:22

Yay claire! Nothing this afternoon on an ic for me, so looks like it might be tomorrow now. Had so hoped it would be a bit earlier again this month Hmm

clairemorgan81 · 02/05/2015 16:32

my smileys are a bit all over the place different days every month, hope yours come tomorrow March. is the line getting darker?x

girliesaints · 02/05/2015 16:46

Get going Claire (if you haven't already) ??

Choccywoccydodah · 02/05/2015 17:57

Yey for :) Claire! Happy bonk holiday Grin

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 19:02

Haha Grin

clairemorgan81 · 03/05/2015 15:16

any sign yet March?x

Marchgirl · 03/05/2015 15:21

Just got a darker line on ic so think I'm finally close to a positive. Going to try and not drink for a couple more hours and try the cb. So fed up already. And got to muster enthusiasm for tonight. Hmm

clairemorgan81 · 03/05/2015 15:33

glad it's getting darker, hopefully it 'll be positive tonight or tomorrow morning.I know what you mean about mustering enthusiasm its hard to keep it up!!x
