I can totally understand why you'd be scared treacle but try not to worry too much. Fingers crossed for you drdonna
Sorry, mrsdiddly you're saying work aren't allowed to be arsey, don't suppose you know much about this - the sickness policy at my work is that if we call in sick we lose our bonus. I'm a valuer and my bonus is usually upwards of £200. Obviously I could do without losing that in January - can they take it off me as per usual sickness policy or do different rules apply in this situation? Thanks guys xx

epskie · 10/01/2015 17:02

Thanks teenie so desperate for it to be over now. Fingers crossed the scan shows nothing on Monday and I can perhaps start to get back to normal xx

DoctorDonnaNoble · 10/01/2015 17:18

Still no sign! Couldn't POAS this morning as was at my mum's house. So nervous as would rather wait and see what happens than get a negative would it be cowardly to try and hold out until Friday?

Hope26 · 10/01/2015 18:05

Treacle I'm so happy for you!! Hope this is a sticky bean.

Sorry for all the newbies finding themselves here. I hope this year brings all of you some good news Smile

broodylicious · 10/01/2015 18:24

I love the fact that a lot of graduates from this thread come to congratulate a fellow member on their bfp - shows such amazing solidarity ??

How are you doing hope? X

Treaclepie19 · 10/01/2015 18:36

Thank you hope :)
I agree Broody, we have an amazing group of ladies don't we ??

DoctorDonnaNoble · 10/01/2015 19:50

Just discovered I have no pregnancy tests! How did that happen? Oh well, definitely not testing until Monday then.

mrsdiddlydoo · 10/01/2015 19:59

epskie I'm not an expert so probably best to check with your hr but it shouldn't be counted as normal sickness absence or be used to discriminate against you. This talks about it...
www.pregnancyatwork.org/members-section/employees/pregnancy-at-work-miscarriage-
Does your work know why you've been off?

Gr33dyeggs · 10/01/2015 20:06

I was told mc counted as normal sick in nhs when I suggested it shouldn't count against me as pregnancy related. And as much as it shouldn't colleagues can still make you feel bad.

epskie · 10/01/2015 21:36

Yes they do know why I've been off. I don't want to make a fuss but I could do with my bonus to be honest! And because I've been off for a week this month my February bonus will be crap :-( I thought that you had to be given time off for pregnancy related illness but obviously the lines are a bit blurred in this situation xx

MelonMelon · 10/01/2015 22:13

Has anyone got experience of implantation pains? My cycle isn't completely back to normal so not 100% sure how many days post ov I could be but I've had cramps all day then just now the most shooting sharp pain in my uterus area. It was so sharp, like being stabbed,.I jumped in my seat. DH looking at me with concern.....what's going on?

Allthequeenshorses · 10/01/2015 22:30

broody totally agree. Have said it before and will say it again, could not have got this far without you all.

Treacle, I completely understand your fear, keep thinking positive thoughts, I'm thinking of you.

epskie do you have a copy of your contract handy. As missdiddlydoo said I don't think they can discriminate against you for mc.

melon I had stabbing pains in my left side with each of my bfps. Shooting like you describe. I was frantically googling implantation as well. A lot of people seemed to think that was common. I have to say that after my first mc I felt it even stronger before I knew I was pregnant the second time. It was my main sign of bfp. Fingers crossed for you.

Hello to everyone, old and new. Rubbish day here. No powerAngry from about two till nine. Ridiculous as we have had horrendous storms Thursday Friday night and it went off this afternoon when all was lovely and calm. Fair but of damage but people and animals all ok so that's all you can focus on. Two sheds now unusable and two trailers ended up else where. I was also confronted by a trampoline on the road which nearly gave me a heArt attack bearing in mind my nearest neighbours are four miles away and are elderly!! It had travelled about six miles. I thought my horsey was going to well and truly dump me when we saw that this morning but bizarrely he walked passed it like, yeah, trampoline mum, what's your problem. Had a hissy fit at a branch on the road but hey, who am I to judge.

Hope you are all having a good evening. X

Treaclepie19 · 10/01/2015 22:33

Thanks allthequeens :)
I'm going to see how I go and if im still in pain tomorrow I'll go to the doctors just to get checked.
Hoping I won't need to though. Good signs are stronger tests than last time, bloating and a bit of nausea today. Oh and sensitive nipples are starting!

MelonMelon · 10/01/2015 22:36

Thanks All that's helpful. Hope your power etc gets sorted! I'm frantically googling. Think my phone is going to melt! I've been ignoring the cramps today as just random twinges but this sharp one has thrown me. My first pregnancy was a surprise and ended in MC so I didn't have any symptoms that I can spot or recognise again. Racking my brain trying to remember what my stomach felt like in July....

Epskie sorry you're having a rough time Flowers

Allthequeenshorses · 10/01/2015 22:46

That's fab signs treacle. Flowers

melon my first bfp was also a surprise and i only knew for about four days before I then mc at eight weeks. Was stupid of me but was so run down and manic I didn't even realise. Second one was six weeks and by that point was on manic google search and cycle countdown.

Power back on now so frantically charging everything and anything that will plug in!!! I hate no power. Dh loves it and turns into some kind of caveman lighting the BBQ!! In January!!!!! Sigh.

MrsConfusion · 10/01/2015 23:41

Hello ladies, sorry I've been MIA since before Christmas. All been a bit mad, work, family and hcg just wouldn't drop after November mc, finally got to 20 just before Christmas and Dr said that was low enough to stop blood tests. In the end I just gave up on 2014 and went into hiding until the new year. Wtf cycle ended over Xmas although hcg still too high to ovulate I think. Now it's a guessing game on this cycle.

What have I missed? What news? I've not managed to read back, sorry, but did spot...treacle amazing news well done lovely lady, keep focussing on those positive thoughts.

Happy New Year all. This will be our year!

Treaclepie19 · 10/01/2015 23:43

Happy new year Mrsconfusion! Thank you for the congrats :)

daisysunshine2 · 11/01/2015 08:03

Congratulations Treacle! Such amazing news :) I had lots of weird sharp pains from about week 4 - 6, then they stopped (and then I worried because they stopped!) and now at nearly 10 weeks they're back again (and worrying me) but had one scan and all fine so think it's just growing pains - there is a lot to stretch and grow! :) got my fingers crossed for you that this is your sticky rainbow xxx

DoctorDonnaNoble · 11/01/2015 08:56

Well , I'm going to go into town to buy a pregnancy test. If that doesn't bring on AF nothing will!

mrsdiddlydoo · 11/01/2015 09:16

Wish me luck. Off for a walk with pregnant sil. Due just before I was. Hope I don't lose the plot. Think I'll be setting the pace marching ahead. Trying not to bump stare. Hope everyone have a nice sunday. the weather's looking good for us where we are if a bit cold.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 11/01/2015 09:16

Good luck mrs!

Cariad2014 · 11/01/2015 09:32

Good luck MrsDiddly - I know how difficult that feels (my bff, and the last of my close friends to fall pregnant) is due the day after I would have been. Flowers

Good luck DrDonna on your hpt buying mission. Have you decided whether you're going to POAS today or tomorrow?

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 09:34

Thank you daisy :)
I got 1-2 weeks pregnant on a digi today :D 12dpo and 4 weeks.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 11/01/2015 09:40

Won't POAS today. Still doubtful I am. We'd have had to get our timing spot on! So waiting to see what happens still. Might not until later in the week anyway.

StockingFullOfCoal · 11/01/2015 09:42

treacle Yay! Symptoms and darker preg tests, all wonderful, hope it continues like this for you.

doctordonna I did a preg test the day AF was due in the morning, got a neg and then AF arrived in the evening. That was on mt wtf cycle though and I have to admit I was relieved when AF arrived.

allthequeens Grin Almost spat my coffee out at your horse, can just imagine strolling casually past the trampoline with a no bothers given attitude!

Got my first positive OPK today so hoping this is our week to get a stickt bean!
