looking forward to new beginnings in the new year

to everyone having a tough time today, seem to be a fair few of us .
I'd been feeling pretty positive after Friday's scan but have had a bit more red blood and a couple of clots (sorry) yesterday and today so feeling so far away from getting AF at the mo. Logically I know they said there was a tiny bit to come away and that's what is happening but I thought everything had stopped and was hoping to ov soon. Also I think after what happened with the medical mgt I think the sight of red blood is a bit terrifying at the moment!
Mrs Confusion, that must be so hard but don't give up hope of BFP before due date - that could be implantation - font want to get up hopes but that was exactly what happened with both of my successful pregnancies.

mrsC it could be implantation bleeding. I wouldn't admit defeat yet. The whole bloody dates and events being reminders of what we should have is one of the toughest things I have ever dealt with. You think you are doing ok and then wham.

Mine today was receiving a wedding invite to a wedding I didn't think we would make because of mc2 s dd. Then the surprise was that ds isn't invited and I appreciate that weddings and kids don't make a good mix for everyone but to not go with any of my babies, to exclude my numero uno, didn't do anything good for me.

Romeo its hard when the bleeding seems to last forever. It will get better. Our bodies are amazing really.

Diddly, I'm not really. I guess I'm just being very very cautious about what I'm letting myself believe. My body is screaming the same symptoms that I had the week before my BFP but what if it's just playing tricks on me? Best to wait until AF is late then I can start to get excited/panic/worry!

Can I come and join you? I'm 32, ttc 1, cycle8/9, cp sept 2014, mc at 5 weeks feb 2015.
A couple of days ago when the mc started I couldn't imagine wanting to ttc so soon. But I'm feeling ok now and figure that what will be will be. I'll either get a bfp or not so I'll just take it easy (I'm selling the clear blue, not temping etc).
Just wondering what my body will do now, will I ov, when etc?
Feeling chilled now but should that bfp appear at some point I know I'll be a nervous wreck. In the meantime I do great hand holding, wine bottle passing and cake distribution so hoping I can cheer the rest of you on xx

Umm... I think AF arrived? Is that even possible - I mean, I still had a BFP last Friday... Could my body just not ov and go straight to AF when it realised I'm not pg anymore? I don't even know if hcg has dropped, I'm assuming it did. Anyone had the same? Going to ring EPU a bit later, but wanted to check with you girls first!

carrotpuff my hcg was still raised after a period - 11 and 5, wgen taken 4 and 5 weeks after mc. Medically considered negative but may still give positive hpts.

I thought the most sensitive tests only detect like 15?

I'm not so sure it's AF. There was quite a bit red when I wiped, but just spotting now. I'm starting to get backache though so maybe it's a slow starter.

If it is AF, then my wtf cycle was 31 days. Usually it's 26 days +/-2. So not too far off.

If it's really AF then I'll probably be out this month. I'm going away on Sat (w/o DP) for 2 weeks. Unless I ovulate much earlier (normally cd13 or so), which does happen now and again.

OK, I need to stop thinking so much about this...

Thanks all for welcoming me. Mrs d - it was my first pregnancy, but am 34 so feel my clock is ticking! We are not yet ttc in earnest yet but not trying not to IYSWIM. Waiting to see when AF will appear....

Hey carrot. If you are still getting bfp's your hcg will be too high for ovulation to occur. obviously nothing is impossible. .

So sad to see so many new faces here but we're all going to get there in the end I'm sure.

I'm so ashamed of myself. I thought getting a bfp would make me happy but I think it's dredged up feelings I couldn't deal with in December.

I haven't gone to work and when DH was working nights I stayed with my mum and had to sleep in her bed because I was crying all night. I don't know how I am going to cope when she goes away on 21st.

I'm so scared of miscarrying on my own. I've been having wider irrational thoughts about DH dying or my mum dying. I've started looking at our finances to see if we could afford IVF. I'm petrified I will never have children. WTF is wrong with me?!

So after what I thought was a positive result back in December was in fact negative, got my period 33 days in ... Bad cramps never had them as bad, potentially I think another missed miscarriage ... Hopefully my fingers are crossed this month for all of us, I'm 29 days in now (biting my nails) xx

Hi everyone. We miscarried two weeks back... According to my cm (sorry) I'm ovulating again now, but my husband had to take meds to make his part in the matter happen, so have to wait till tomorrow night.... Does anyone know if that's too late? How precise is the timing?! Flippin' miracle the human race reproduces at all in my opinion, I sure never thought it would be this hard....
