Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't? 

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Option decorations include photographs of political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

tink and lemon my cycle will be roughly the same next month with af due New Years day. I think we will try mainly because I currently don't plan on stopping alcohol until I've got a bfp no matter what the month. We're away for New Years poas has the potential to be quite special.

If my pos OPK was on 14th, do I count that as my 0DPO, so I'm then 3DPO, or do I suppose I iced the day after, making me 2DPO? Confusing! Is everyone else at exactly the same stage? When shall we POAS?

jelly - get in! Well done, that's super news. The option is still well and truly open for you! It does sound like a hard choice, but if you really want to do it I second everyone else and say go for it. Like someone else said (maybe wil), I think it would be even harder to change career with a little baby jelly.

lemon you need to read the link that la listed a while back showing how accurate POASing was on any given dpo... Pretty sure I remember 11dpo was the magic number. It put me off the mega early testing that's for sure although saying all this probably just eggs you on in the whole "yay, so I probably still am upduffed" thing

tink my af is due a week on sat and seeing as this is my first cycle I've promised Myself I won't be doing it earlier. I can't start this process completely mental ... Where will I end up

Erm, dreams. I don't normally dream. Last time I had loads in a row I was up the duff. I also feel very faint womble stretching now and then. Might be because of epo, might be because of upduffed-ness.

In my head I am pretty sure I am preggo so don't want to test and prove myself wrong.

I am a big bloated weirdo today. In other news the cat tried to drink my tea and burnt his tongue

lemon on my first Fred with the jsers (Fred 27?) I pissed on so many sticks it was ridiculous! I got through 11 opks and 8 pg tests (which I know isn't tonnes compared to some, but for me was alot!)! I'd never used opks properly before then, or poas until af was late (once not til the old cowbag was 2 weeks late!) I don't know how I did it! there is definitely something about sharing all this stuff that makes you want to poas! The last couple of cycles I've started testing from about 9dpo, for me it has helped manage my expectations and stopped me getting my hopes up. I don't know how many dpo I am this cycle so will try and get back to my old ways of not pissing. But then, I always say that!

in other news I'm mad with dh. we had a row over him not putting things back in the right place in the kitchen clearly I overreacted he should do some of the cooking so he knows where things bloody live.
