Good luck for today Pixie

Great quilts Lumen. I'm in awe of all you crafty people - I can barely sew a button on!

tiger glad you and Mr Tiger have sorted out your IVF plan. At the outset I wanted DH at all of the appointments so that he felt involved. But after the baseline scan and the first dildocam to find out how many follies there are it really was just a quick 5 min scan every other day to be told 'yep you're progressing nicely' so DH stayed away at that point and just came along for EC (obviously - that was his one chance to actually do something!) and then for ET.

Hope everyone else is ok. Thinking of you Trill - these days are tough
Got a bit of painting to do this morning then off to visit my folks this afternoon. Have a good Saturday all.

6 reached blasto so think we'll go with just one going back if it's good quality. Leaving in an hour, really must jump in the shower. Excited now.

lumen · 29/11/2014 10:54

6 to blast is excellent pixie.

No special machine tiger just a walking foot on the machine. Thanks for the nice comments about my quilts berries, it takes my mind of ttc when concentrating on sewing Wink

Jelliebabe2 · 29/11/2014 10:58

Thinking of you today pixie-loolaa! Pupo land awaits!

Lumen! Those quilts are stunning! Did you embroider the little name things yourself or did you get them? They'll be all thrilled with them!

Pipbin · 29/11/2014 12:28

6 to blasto is great Pixie. Will they freeze any?

Pixie001 · 29/11/2014 14:27

Pip they've frozen 2 and gonna keep an eye on the other 3 and let us know tomorrow. The one that's gone back is best grading/quality, so I'm feeling lots of pressure now! So hope it makes itself at home and my body doesn't reject it.

tigerdog · 29/11/2014 14:42

Aw pixie you're pupo! congratulations. What are your plans to while away the 2ww? I shall cross every available appendage for you. Two frosties is good too!

I am feeling a little bit festive and much cheered. Have pottered around the farmers market, craft shop and garden centre, bought some christmas and birthday presents for the family, new fairy lights and some bits for the next sewing project. Happy days indeed Smile.

Fab news Pixie, bet you thought this day would never come. Are you back at work next week?

Trillium73 · 29/11/2014 20:24

Awesome news pixie x so pleased for you!

Thanks so much for all your lovely messages, I got so emotional reading them Sad I just didn't know how to respond. I'm doing okay, at least the cramps I had throughout the 2ww are away! Work is super busy so haven't been able to do something nice together but we've been looking at going away in January.

Take care my lovely Berries xx

Pipbin · 29/11/2014 20:26

Hurray Pixie. Feet up and be waited on.

Pixie001 · 29/11/2014 22:26

Tiger glad you sorted it out with Mr T. Today sounds like lovely day out! I haven't got any Christmas presents yet...neither do I have a clue what I'm going to buy! Must get head in gear soon. Anyone try black Friday shopping yesterday? Absolutely mental eh? I didn't bother and I don't buy in to doing stuff just because US do it-we don't even have thanksgiving!
Bushy I got my cross stitch out again recently. Been working on it for around 3 yrs! Painfully slow. Still can't tell what it is!
Happy and lumen hope you've been having nice time with your folks.
HB hope Monday goes well-known let us know how you get on.
Gill yep will be back in work this week. Have a 2 day off-site with my close team, including team meal and lots of booze (which I'm normally all over!). Awkward.
Trill glad you're ok as can be expected, nice to have something to look forward to in the new year.
Gill think OTD is 10th.

Jelliebabe2 · 29/11/2014 23:32

Pixie - No actual black Friday shopping but got a Vax hoover for £80 instead of £160 (£200 in curry's!) on Amazon! Got quite few things on there last year ??

Pixie - yay! Dont worry about team meal, must say you're on antibiotics! Tooth problems! Sorted!

Gillster · 30/11/2014 06:39

Think I'll have to use that excuse Jelli on the 11th (day before ET) as have a Christmas party then and no one will believe I'm not drinking. I could even take one of my oestrogen tablets for effect (making sure no one plays close attention to the packaging.

Hoe you get a nice trip sorted in January Trill. I guess work being busy is not such a bad thing at the moment.

greatbigbushybeard · 30/11/2014 11:39

Good deal jellie! I got David walliams book for nephew £5 in sainsburys and used nectar points so got it for £2.50-get in!!

Had a day Xmas shopping yesterday and got a few bits... Including bits for me!! Treated myself to nice new hoodie!!

Am off in a bit to get some greenery to make an advent wreath with kids at school next week. Dh has bravely volunteered to do the food shop- whoop, whoop!!

I need some not drinking excuses too as Christmas parties are coming up, don't really want to do tooth as we'll be eating & that would require more acting!! I do normally get in the Christmas spirit like pixie so will need a reason. Thinking antibiotics for throat as I often suffer with it anyway.

Jelliebabe2 · 30/11/2014 12:36

How about an infected toe nail? You could offer to whip it out to show them!?!?! That'd soon shut them up! GrinGrinGrin

tigerdog · 30/11/2014 15:02

Infected toenail ewwww, but certainly creative jellie! The not drinking thing is hard to pull off. I stopped drinking after a few months of ttc and the amount of people that asked me outright if I was pregnant was ridiculous. At one wedding about 5 friends asked outright. I now usually have one drink just to ensure the questions are kept at bay. I do drink these days, just rarely want to have more than one or two -apart from occasionally getting hammered and even that raises eyebrows. I think it's easier to pretend drink then invent an excuse, e.g just drink tonic and say you're on vodka tonic cause you're trying to avoid too many calories or have a wine that you just carry around half full!

HampshireBlues · 30/11/2014 19:21

Thank you Berries, I'm very lucky to have found you. AF still not here so def over for me, just need to wait and see what the clinic want to do about the cyst.

Pixie yay on being PUPO, hope you have been spoile.

Tiger I'm glad you and DH have had a chat and are on the same page.

Can't scroll back, but thanks to whoever did the stats it is encouraging Smile

Gillster · 30/11/2014 19:35

Any news on your remaining blasts Pixie? How many frosties did you end up with?

TheRainDrops · 30/11/2014 20:25

Woop! PUPO pom poms for Pixie! Sounds really promising, especially to have some good ones to freeze too. Are you working during the 2ww or off?

Sorry you've missed this one HB, hope the clinic give you some positive news on the cyst tomorrow.

Trill keeping the mind on nice things is a good idea. I hope you and DH had a nice weekend together.

all this Black Friday nonsense is a bit depressing. Don't get me wrong, I love a bargain but some of the footage on the news was hideous. What's wrong with some people?

I've got a poorly cat at the moment. She's been vomiting on a pretty regular basis (about every other day)- had blood tests but nothing there. Got to keep her in for the next few nights to gather some stool samples - lovely!

HampshireBlues · 30/11/2014 20:39

Rain I am sooooooo jealous! On a serious note I hope that she starts to pick up.

tigerdog · 30/11/2014 20:53

Sorry to hear your cat is poorly rain, hopefully it is nothing serious. The Black Friday madness is depressing. Christmas seems to be more about the sales and bargains than anything else these days. Having said that, I have taken advantage of some good deals on t'internet (25% off at Harvey Nichols!) and have done most of my Christmas shopping this weekend.

Hope you're not too dissappointed hb and that you can enjoy Christmas and get started in the new year. Wine

Hope everyone has had lovely weekends?

Pixie001 · 30/11/2014 21:28

Oh rain the poor thing. Hope it's something straight forward. Do cats get stomach bugs? Yep back to the office tomorrow. Don't know how I'm going to concentrate!
HB sorry that af didn't turn up. I realise it doesn't help but it does seem quite standard...just annoying that it's at this particular point in the year.
Gill we ended up with 5 blasto frosties. The other 4 did make it to blasto but a bit further behind, they set the bar high for freezing so we lost those.
Jellie my colleague's just recovered from tooth problem so perhaps shouldn't remind get of that and tie nail? Ew! Perhaps I just need to pretend as you suggest tiger. Still waiting for pic of your blind. Still to put our pretty standard shop bought blinds up.

HampshireBlues · 30/11/2014 22:24

Pixie that is amazing, to have so many frozen embies puts you in such a strong position for future mini pixies.

HampshireBlues · 30/11/2014 22:25

Sorry damn iPad deleted text. Was supposed to finish.....
'cause I have a good feeling that this will be a sticky
