Everything tightly crossed here too for spare and trill if you are poas tomorrow.

Night all, will catch up properly tomorrow. Sweet dreams Berries!

sparechange · 26/11/2014 05:42

So what do you all think? A line's a line, right? And I tested a day early.
Can I chalk this up as a big fat positive pregnant win?
Grin
I'm going to test again tomorrow and if it isn't darker, go for the blood test in the clinic

tigerdog · 26/11/2014 06:41

Aaaah! A line is a line spare so yes that is a bfp! Grin Very exciting! It is a clear line. Really hope this is it for you. Congratulations!

Love a bit of good news in the morning!

Pixie001 · 26/11/2014 06:50

Bfp spare!! Definitely a line there! Yay GrinGrinGrin. The boobs definitely were a sign then! Congratulations!

Pixie001 · 26/11/2014 06:54

Trill good luck for later if you do test then. Thinking of you.

Gillster · 26/11/2014 07:02

Yay Spare! I have the tiniest hint of a signal in the Brecons so have been able to keep up. Is this one of the Superdrug tests? I used one of these a couple of months back and it didn't look like your test today. Smile

This also gives me some hope for my own FET as I've been feeling quite negative about it.

Keeping everything crossed for Trill and Pixie too.

Let the clusterdiffing continue...

greatbigbushybeard · 26/11/2014 07:23

Woo hoo!! Hurray forspare!! Glad I came on to check. Everything rooted for trill.

Trillium73 · 26/11/2014 07:33

Woohoo! So pleased for you spare !! Very very excited! The pressure is on now, eh?! Really hope I can keep the clusterdiff going! I'll be testing tomorrow when I get in from work Grin

Pipbin · 26/11/2014 07:38

Wonderful Spare. Remind me, was it you with the cat that slept on your tummy unusually? I'm collecting 'cats know you are up diffed' evidence.

Trillium73 · 26/11/2014 07:40

That was me pip Grin

nolly3 · 26/11/2014 07:45

Grin Grin Grin spare! the infallible wee/boob symptoms!

sparechange · 26/11/2014 07:47

pip
Trill had the cat omen, but my dog has been a bit clingy in the last few days. She tried to sneak into our bed in the night on Monday and Tuesday nights, which she has never ever done before!
Other than that, I was night weeing, and bursting out of my bras

beakybeak · 26/11/2014 07:47

Yey Spare! That's fantastic news! Clusterdiff clusterdiff! Grin congrats!

Smidge001 · 26/11/2014 07:54

Congratulations spare! I'm so jealous! (But with a massive grin on my face for you Grin ) that is such fab news, you must be thrilled! I knew I was right to keep checking my boobs for signs of enlargement.

I have every confidence in trill too given she is testing a day later and as yet no obvious signs of AF.

We will need to redo some stats as I have totally forgotten if you were fresh or frozen, long or short etc. we need some full stats here (acu, vits etc) to work out what to do (other than get a cat!) to improve our chances and join the clusterdiffers in the chopper after Christmas. though I quite like the idea of an excuse to have a cat

sparechange · 26/11/2014 08:01

Thanks everyone. It hasn't sunk in yet!

smidge I was short protocol mild ivf and icsi. But despite the low dose of drugs, I overstimmed a bit, so they collected 18 eggs and then didn't want to do a fresh transfer because of ohss risk.
First FET didn't happen because they missed me OV-ing and then second nearly didn't happen because all our defrosted embies perished overnight before the transfer. On the morning of the transfer, they defrosted another one and it seems to have decided to stick around!

WildflowerMarmalade · 26/11/2014 09:10

Yaaaayy! Spare fantastic, fantabulous, brilliant news.

You can't quite believe it?! I can't quite believe we have got a genuine clusterdiff on our hands here! It's three minimum, like serial killers as Pip said. ThanksThanksThanksThanksThanks for everyone.

Just reading your summary of how you got here spare , you have really had to keep on and get tough through those tough times. Like when none of the embies survived, that must have been hellish. Well done you.

Pixie001 · 26/11/2014 09:44

We've just had a call to say they had 13 eggs for icsi. Of that 10 fertilised and all doing well. I'm so relieved DH and I like each other! Hoorah! The barry white must have worked a charm. Smile So they'll call again tomorrow with an update. One more pixie step along the yellow brick road...

WildflowerMarmalade · 26/11/2014 10:10

Go little Pixie embies. That is a fantastic result. Feeling optimistic for you, you are male factor, non? Expecting some good results here.

sparechange · 26/11/2014 10:15

Amazing news Pixie! And a really high fertilisation rate.
When is transfer day? How many will they put back? Come on the clusterdiff!

Pixie001 · 26/11/2014 10:43

I don't really know the norm so thanks for the encouragement berries.
Yep WB we've never had any swimmers out until DH had his op 8 wks ago. He's massively pleased as they only needed to use 1 out of 4 ampules they got out of him in the op.
Spare since they're all good quality at the moment they're going to let them grow on and call back tomorrow with an update so I don't have a transfer date yet.
When would we normally get the option to freeze If more than one stays alive? I should have asked clinic earlier but was in shock.

sparechange · 26/11/2014 11:03

pixie 75% fertilisation rate is considered good for ICSI. We were slightly under that with 11 embies from 18 eggs so yours is really excellent.
Are they taking them to day 3 or blasts (day 5)?
If I hadn't been an ohss risk, they were going to take them all to day 3, put one back and then freeze the rest. I think that is fairly standard? In the end they all got frozen on day one but I don't think it makes much difference in the grand scheme.
How are you feeling post collection? Hope the soreness is subsiding and there aren't any ohss symptoms

TheRainDrops · 26/11/2014 11:36

fab fab FAB news spare and pixie. Grin Grin Grin Grin

lumen · 26/11/2014 11:50

Congrats on your embies pixie, hope they all keep going to get you a lovely transfer and some frosties.

Congrats spare, am glad someone else got their bfp to make the official clusterdiffige per pips definition.

Pixie001 · 26/11/2014 11:58

How did they identify your ohss risk spare? Purely down to number of eggs collected/blood levels? Or symptoms you had? I'm just wondering whether they could still do that for me? And not go ahead with ET?
They may go on to blasto stage if still looking good tomorrow. Are the days counted after EC? Ie with EC Mon am I now day 2? So ET either tomorrow (3) or Sat (5)? I'm now feeling a bit dumb...should so have got this clear in my head before now!
