Hi all.

I loooovvee the doggie PJs!! Awesome! My kitty won't even wear a collar!

I'm feeling a bit better, thanx tiger. The clinic finally called back and they just said to switch to cocodamol and that has helped. A stroll at the beach in the sunshine yesterday also made me feel good!

Not long now lumen hope you're feeling well!

Pixie001 · 19/11/2014 21:51

Ha ha ha ha pyjama woof. Love it.
Trill glad you feeling better, a stroll on beach sounds lovely.
Kuma crazy cycle. Will you call FC? Mid cycle bleed sounds rather strange. so you temp or do ov tests? Is it worth postponing til after Xmas anyway to make sure your body's ok?
I'm feeling massively bloated. Can hardly breathe it's so uncomfortable. Thankfully bloods all fine so continuing on normal meds. Grow bad boys grow!

Trillium73 · 19/11/2014 21:57

Take care pixie hope the dollies continue to grow well without making you unwell!

Pipbin · 19/11/2014 22:32

Pixie Make sure you are drinking loads of water. I has OHSS on my first cycle and was told to just drink stacks of water.

Lumen I am going to have a chat with Ganesha for you.

lumen · 20/11/2014 10:29

tiger you should so get your dog some Christmas jammies! then post a pic for us to see

TheRainDrops · 20/11/2014 11:20

dog pyjamas are probably the best thing I've seen all week!! I know there's a saying about cat's pyjamas but I don't think they actually exist (and getting a car into them would surely equal instant death!)

pixie I am willing your dolly follies on!

lumen, I hope today goes quickly for you, this waiting must be nerve shredding.

Trillium73 · 20/11/2014 11:43

How are you feeling today lumen ? Not long now! I've got everything crossed for you x

lumen · 20/11/2014 13:03

Have been really busy in work this morning which is helping and have a few meetings this afternoon. Meeting my dh after work for a spot of crimbo shopping and dinner out to try and distract ourselves. Thanks for all the concern berries, I so want to continue the clusterdiff!

tigerdog · 20/11/2014 14:37

lumen I am just keeping everything crossed for you. Sounds like a nice evening you've got planned there.

Glad the dog pjs have made everyone smile!

I'm just waiting for my AMH test and I've got a stinking headache which is so bad I feel sick. Have really not done well this week with feeling crappy for one reason or another!

Trillium73 · 20/11/2014 15:45

Awe tiger the headache must be catching because I've got one too! Although I'm not feeling sick with mine. I hope it settles down soon. Flowers

Pipbin · 20/11/2014 16:11

You have to get a BFP Lumen as you need at least three for a clusterdiff, like serial killers.

Pixie001 · 20/11/2014 16:32

Have a lovely time this evening lumen and whatever the result in the morning we'll be here for you. refreshing mn constantly from first thing in the morning waiting for news Wink.

Pip I do feel really dehydrated so been taking your advice and trying to down the water but so bloated that it's just totally uncomfortable. See what dildocam shows of my dollies' progress tomorrow.
Tiger how long will it take to get your amh results back again?

sparechange · 20/11/2014 17:09

Pip Grin

nolly3 · 20/11/2014 17:10

really good luck for tomorrow, lumen - will be checking in.

Quick update from me.

after no show from consultant, we decided to get OH's SA done again, which he's now done (results pending) Apparently if his jizz is pants, we get free funding. OH not so keen on that idea, silly billy.

Told the in laws. they were actually great about it, which was a relief.

At work though, bit of a disaster area. Boss has been monitoring and censoring our emails. Refused to apologise. I complained, and he gave me a whoel course to teach (for non academics, that's basically a third of a years' workload) with 5 weeks' notice. I said that was breach of contract and now he's told everyone in the department I'm making a formal complaint, which is not true. He's a complete bastard.

House still not sold, so we can't move still. Oh the fun times.

anyway- that's why not been around so much!

sparechange · 20/11/2014 17:13

Pixie
Try drinking milk - apparently protein is good for OHSS symptoms as well. I used it as an excuse to make DH take me out for steak when I wasn't well...
And go dollies! What time is your scan?

nolly3 · 20/11/2014 17:27

tiger I've got to ask, how did you work out that wearing pjs would stop your dog needing a wee in the night?!

tigerdog · 20/11/2014 17:33

nolly that all sounds a bit stressful. The situation with your nightmare boss sounds all too familiar. The worst ones will undermine you and also then try and make everyone think that the problem is with you. That is how the most effective bullies function, and that is what he sounds like to me, a total and utter bully. Hope things improve Flowers. It's good to hear from you though.

pip that did make me chuckle. Agreed though, three is definitely a clusterdiff.

trill my headache has gone. Phew! I thought it was going to be one that lasted a few hours but some fresh air, green tea and a small milky bar seemed to have done the trick! Hope yours has gone too!

pixie about a week apparently, in time for my next FC appointment in December. Make sure you keep those thirsty dollies well topped up!

tigerdog · 20/11/2014 17:39

Well nolly it's not really that interesting! After a few months of having her, I came down two mornings in a row to a puddle (which had never happened before) and I was worried about her health or that something was upsetting her, so I rang the Greyhound Trust and they suggested that she might be cold, and that around October/November they get loads of calls about this. So I bought her some fleecy PJs and it never happned again! Bless her, she doesn't settle if she is chilly. When the weather really turns, she has to be tucked in at night under a blanket!

tigerdog · 20/11/2014 17:41

Of course, most people think that buying outfits for the dog is not for practical reasons (it is, honest) but beccause I am some sort of crazy dog lady who doesn't have kids they might be right

WildflowerMarmalade · 20/11/2014 18:27

Finally got on here! Our Internet connection is playing up and I've struggled to log on properly. I've been reading everything though, while waving a shouting through the glass at you all cosy in here and me outside with my nose pressed against the window pane.

I was so glad when everyone insisted on photographs of Tiger's dog in her pyjamas. Tiger definitely get her some Christmas ones, too cute. We need to see that.

Smidge AliG's treatment plan of prednisolone + intralipids is exactly what I'm having. I was hoping to start in early Jan, but with AF going AWOL who knows how the cycles will work out. We could even end up cycle buddies.

Lumen, my lovely. Very best of Berry luck to you for tomorrow. Hoping so hard for you.

CatsCantFlyFast · 20/11/2014 20:27

Lumen, crossing everything here for you x

beakybeak · 20/11/2014 20:32

Gosh I've missed tons! Had a weird day too and feel a bit blah but will do my catch ups first Smile

Lumen very best of all of the berry luck for tomorrow, will be willing that second line on with the pom-poms and shimmying.

Smidge you will be ivf'ing around the same time as me from the sounds of it, with otd being in feb sometime. It will fly here, but I totally understand the waiting frustration. Also, AliG sounds like she has a really comprehensive plan in place there too so I think this will be your time. Join me in a drunken Christmas pre IVF and babies Grin

Nolly great to hear from you but what a bastard of a boss, sounds like you're having a shit time. I'll rub him out if you rub my neighbour out? Lol. She's v.noisy occasionally Angry have you had much interest with the house? When do you get your ohs results?

Pip & Bushy how are you both feeling? I for one am happy for you to hang around here til you're ready to move on. Please do come back regularly though to let us know how things are going! I miss our grads!

Tiger I love your pup, I'm impressed with the jammies! Too cute. Def get her Christmas ones! Hope the amh results help and glad you're feeling a bit better now.

Spare and Trill how are each of you getting on?

Gill enjoy the brecons, I've only been there once and it was beautiful! Hope dr is going well.

Pixie fx your scan shows more good progress sorry it's so uncomfortable, hope they can get you in for ET asap.

Wild hope everything is going well with you in limbo land.

Rain that's not long for your appointment, will you get a date for IVF then? Do you know if you will be long or short protocol?

As for me, I got a clear result in my smear! Woohoo! Was quite worried about it for a while so I'm really pleased it's fine. But then we have been to the hosp today to see the dermatologist as I have an odd small patch of skin which is red and itchy. They've said there's a chance it's nothing but there's a chance that it's the really really mild type of skin cancer but all it needs is removed after a biopsy confirms it either way, it's no treatment necessary either and he couldn't emphasise how much it would be fine. Also it has no impact on IVF - yey! I'm fine with it but do feel a bit weird. Does anyone know what I mean if I say "at sixes and sevens"? Anyway, sorry to spill this on here but I'm not telling anyone else (except dh who was there) as I don't want them to worry at all. Sorry guys for hijacking the thread with this.

On a lighter note, only 5 weeks to Christmas!

greatbigbushybeard · 20/11/2014 20:39

Ha ha love the clusterdiff/serial killer analogy! Think we're all hoping for the very best for lumen tomorrow. Sounds like a lovely evening you have planned.

Bless your greyhound needing tucking up tiger.

So nolly your boss has been reading your emails and he hasn't apologised? Is there any reason for him to read the emails? Does it include personal ones or just work ones? Years ago when I worked in admin, we had a intra messaging service which we abused to buggery by basically just chatting. We got checked on that. My friend and I also used to take many trips to the various different vending machines because we were sooo bored- we got spotted by other 'helpful' colleagues and put on warnings!! This was when I was young and totally not interested in my job!!

Bloating sounds horrible pixie, keep drinking the water. How about peppermint tea? I find that helps me if I am bloated or have an upset stomach.

Friday tomorrow peeps!

greatbigbushybeard · 20/11/2014 20:52

Ooh beaky no wonder you are at sixes and sevens, I know he's stressed it's nothing to worry about but it's the c word, strikes fear into the heart. I hope it's nothing and you can relax.

5weeks til Christmas and 4 more teaching weeks!! A shit load to cram in between though!

Trillium73 · 20/11/2014 22:00

Night night all! Hope you can sleep tonight lumen Shock so want you to get good news! I'll be checking when I wake to do my lovely fanny candle (what fun Grin ) xx
