Ooh congratulations!!! Lovely news.

Just picked my dad up from the hospital after having a heart procedure today. I'll be back there in 12 hours for my scan. Gulp. Wish me luck. I.am.terrified

stubbornstains · 29/10/2014 20:39

I've got everything crossed for you tranquility.....x

ProbablyEvil · 29/10/2014 20:44

For anyone interested in this kind of thing (I know I was nosey about what other people did!)

I took Soy Isoflavones this month, partly because FF wasn't convinced I O'd last month and partly to promote strong eggs as I'm a bit older. I used Tesco capsules, 120mg from days 3-7. I took them two cycles ago so this was my second go with them.

I also took a B-complex too, vitabiotics I think x 2 a day for the whole cycle (still taking them) to strengthen my progesterone production for the LP.

I'malso taking Zinc, Iron and vit C - I'm a bit anaemic normally, and Seven Seas Trying to Conceive tablets (nice and small and I'm rubbish at big tablets so Pregnacare were no good as they're huuuge!).

I'm also hypothyroid so I'm taking my usual levothyroxine.

I don't know if any of this did any good and it may very well be coincidence but I've been lucky this month.SmileSmile

ProbablyEvil · 29/10/2014 20:45

Good luck Tranquility!!

stubbornstains · 29/10/2014 20:49

Ah, just one thing probably......Step away from the thermometer. Now. At once. Because I kept temping for a few days, saw a huge dip on 15DPO, and totally freaked out.....(It shot back up again the next day, and I formally retired the thermometer to the back of the bathroom cupboard).

ProbablyEvil · 29/10/2014 21:07

Hah Stubborn!! I've been thinking about that and you're right!! I don't want any extra stress. I'll just keep peeing on sticks until my line gets darker I think!

The shock is wearing of a bit now, I wish my DP was here but he's away until Friday. I did ring him and tell him and he's very happy though SmileSmile

I'm also realising that I have a long wait before anything actually happens now, just keep looking for symptoms I guess!! I'm also a bit surprised as with my 4 DS I didn't get a BFP until 1-2 weeks after AF was due. Guess the tests have got better?

Tranquilitybaby · 29/10/2014 22:35

Thanks girls xx

AnnieHoo · 29/10/2014 23:50

Hope it goes well tomorrow tranquility! Xxx

Tilly73 · 30/10/2014 10:34

Gingerbreadlady1 · 30/10/2014 10:46

OK.....I lurked a bit yesterday! Soon, soon.....this superstitious gubbins is getting a bit ridiculous when it's so bloody long to wait, isn't it?!

Is it OK if I post a linky to the ante natal thread on here though?

Ooh tilly lalala....Grin. Sorry about your DH's job...

Gingerbreadlady1 · 30/10/2014 11:11

Of course, I'm just rubbish at doing anything like that, it never works. It is a long wait, I honestly think I'll worry till the baby is born then it'll be a whole new set of worries!

Voila. Just call me guardian of the portals Grin. I've also managed to create a nice link on Facebook today to funnel all the village technophobes into completing a crucial survey.....at least I've done something; I've spent most of the morning sitting on my arse in bed with the laptop, MNing, and fear I may spend the afternoon doing the same.....oh, the fucking exhaustion, I remember this bit....Hmm

Gingerbreadlady1 · 30/10/2014 12:06

I'm rubbish at anything remotely IT related so thanks for that. Get your arse onto the thread so we can chat symptoms, I don't think it's fair to do it here.

Just posting on here too as you lovely ladies wished me well.

Little bean with a faint heartbeat seen today in the right place, phew. Told the children as I hate keeping things from them and they're really pleased. DH has been quiet and when pushed, he's just revealed that going back to EPU today finally made it him home what I went through in April. Bless him.

AnnieHoo · 30/10/2014 23:11
