The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hello everyone, sorry you're here but happy you're all so supportive Smile

BitchPeas I'm also 7dpo and trying not to symptom spotting too madly... had to have a nap this afternoon, tiredness is a sure sign of pregnancy right?! Or it could have just been avoidance of the 2 rooms that need painting, who knows. FX your abdomen pains are implantation!

everyone new / returning / delurking - waves! Hello, bfpville this way...

sebs - oh let us know how you get on with cough syrup. Heard of loads of people on ttc threads having success with that but never tried it myself..so far!

Not much to report here - dtd y'day, on cd45 here. I've had long cycles and I've had post mc wtf cycles but this is definitely the longest one I've had without being pg by a few days anyway. I've been taking Angus castus for a few days and in the past that has hurried af along but no luck this time... Just in limbo waiting for af to get here and new cycle to start

Allthequeenshorses · 03/08/2014 12:21

Hi kitty, how lovely of you to remember. Yes, that was me. A calf I think although could have been a foal. I think that was the night I posted after mil had a go at me.

How are you? I have also lurked for a while for passive support. Found it hard to try again but feel Okish about it now we have decided. I was really reluctant to end up due around March or April as one of the farms we rent has had a problem with lambs and although I would not be near them it's just another thing to worry about. Are you trying again just now?

How is everyone today? Nice and sunny just now after last nights rain. Have a good day all.

sebsmummy1 · 03/08/2014 13:05

Hi girls. The cough medicine is this one (will attach pic). It's meant to help loosen mucus so means if your EWCM is a bit rubbery, it makes it more fluid, or generally produces more if you don't have much.

Well I am cd7, had some EWCM this morning, just a little bit, so hoping it will increase over the next four days then I normally get a pos opk all being well. CBFM reading Low, hoping for some High days.

We've (I've) decided to do SMEP this cycle. We tried twice before but OH kept sodding off on work trips lol. My fertile days should fall over next weekend so we are doing every other day starting from today, then once you get a pos opk you dtd three days on the trot, have a day off and then once more for good luck.

KittyVonCatsington · 03/08/2014 13:24

So glad you have found the strength to try again allthequeenshorses. Yep still trying ever the optimist but have stayed on the Penis Dragon Buses. Ignore your MIL if you can and don't forget, there will always be lots of wonderful ladies to help support.
Good luck!!

Treaclepie19 · 03/08/2014 15:13

:)

Good luck with smep sebs :)

Well I'm either 12dpo or 6 dpo today. Either way I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant.
8 actually feel quite relaxed. It's almost as thought it was taken out of my hands this month so I couldn't beat myself up when it didn't happen.

I'm not a fan of hot weather but I'm glad it's stopped raining, we need to spend some time sorting out our garden!
Weedkiller here we come...

MrsBeeBeeBee · 03/08/2014 19:05

Sorry ladies another question from me...

First AF after miscarriage... what was it like? Friday was brown spotting, Saturday afternoon turned into really light blood, stopped by Sunday morning. And now a bit on and off. It's nothing like a proper period. Light and on-off. Odd!
So I'm thinking count yesterday as first day of cycle?

DulcetMoans · 03/08/2014 19:25

Stupid first AF post-MC going on here too ladies!

mrsbee, I was sort of similar. Brown spotting for about 5 days I think, then a bleed that I counted as CD1 that died down after two days but hasn't stopped and I am on 7 days later with brown spotting again now. If that one day was similar to a normal AF I would call that CD1 even if it wasn't as long as normal.

Foxtrot7459 · 03/08/2014 19:58

MrsBee I had spotting for 3 days then a light bleed for around 6 days followed by 3 or 4 more days of spotting. I counted first day of light bleed as CD1. Now on CD16 and on third day of spotting again - truly WTF!

MrsBeeBeeBee · 03/08/2014 20:21

oh fox and dulcet sounds like its still WTF even after AF arrives. sorry you're also having a confusing AF.
Really hoped that I'd get some normality back and get back into a proper cycle.

Thanks for replies. Hope the spotting effs off soon for you both x

LadyH84 · 03/08/2014 20:33

Howdy ladies, I've been dropping in and out of here over last few months :-( seems like some new people hoping this means some of the ladies had positive news!!!!!
I'm 3 x MC over last 2 years.....now 2 days late AF but so far BFN !
Last two times I didn't get BFP until at least 7 days past AF so I'm hoping this good news but obviously I'm feeling very negative and ' well even if I am...iill never get a baby' it's soooooooo frustrating doing tests every day when AF is late! I need positivity that one day I will get little bubba!!!!!

MRSbeeee my first AF after MC were actually pretty normal! I find have spotting pink for 2-3 days before ( I cunt normally have) I convinced myself 3 times this might be implantation bleeding! No such joy! I'm 3 months past my last MC now...2 days late! No pink spotting... Hoping

LittleMissSnowShine · 03/08/2014 21:10

Cd46..46!! of post-mc wtf cycle. Did another cheapo poas today, just to be sure, cos last bfn was 5 days ago. Still bfn. And no AF! I'm ready to crack on again...why won't my uterus comply!?

It is always weird wanting af to show up when tic ... But just get here already!!

Hope no one else wallowing in sun night bluesssss...

BitchPeas · 03/08/2014 23:39

Sorry to all of you on WTF cycles. After my TFMR, I waited 6 ish weeks, then it veered between brown sticky blood, and dark red blood, then bright red with clots, then back to brown (sorry for tmi) It took a good 3 cycles to get back to normal. It's so frustrating. Fx for you all!

Yep greysar implantation bleeding crossed my mind but I really don't want to get my hopes up so I'm ignoring it! It's stopped now anyway! I'm 8 DPO and am off camping til day before AF so hopefully that will take my mind off it Grin Apart from the stabby pains that have stopped I haven't got any symptoms of anything still! So nothing to obsess about either. And DPs made me promise not to test til the day AF is due, probably a good job I'm gona be in a field all week!

Fx for any ladies POAS in the morning x

officelady · 04/08/2014 07:40

Morning everyone, and thus starts another week of this madness! I'm on CD20 of what appears to be the first normal cycle I've had since my mc 4 months ago. The last few months I've had light bleeding, VERY painful cramps during/before af, and spotting at random times throughout my cycle. It's about bloody time things settled down! I'll probably go to the loo in a minute and discover I'm spotting or something but so far, so good.

Am 7dpo today according to my obsessive charting, nothing to see here, move along Grin
Good luck to anyone testing this week - and hopefully all of us experiencing WTF cycles can get back to normal ASAP!

sebsmummy1 · 04/08/2014 08:17

Hi girls. Have a symptom I can definitely do without today. A few hours after sex yesterday I felt burny down below and an urgency to wee. Was up about give times in the night to empty my bladder. Does this sound like cystitis or a bladder infection to you? There is no pain when weeing, it's just a general burny feeling down below.

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 08:42

Sounds like cystitis sebs.

Talking of thrush. Arrrrrrghh!!! Mine still hasn't gone away :( I had the tablet last Monday. The internal cream the week before.
Back to the doctors today :(

greysar · 04/08/2014 09:38

9dpo and spotting. Argh. Why do I even get my hopes up?!

JBrd · 04/08/2014 09:46

sebs Yep, that sounds like a bladder infection! If it's just a bit uncomfortable, then you might get away without a visit to the GP - just drink drink drink, like your life depends on it!

I am exactly in the same boat today - it started yesterday, and I thought I'd managed to get away with it (after drinking my body weight in herbal tea and water!), but this morning, I woke up to the real thing - currently waiting for a call back from my GP. I'm in agony every time I need to wee, got diarrhoea, cramps and had blood in my wee earlier. I definitely need antibiotics, I just wish the stupid GP would hurry up and call! They have this triage system now, where instead of going there for an emergency appointment, they do triage calls to assess how urgent your problem is. The receptionist didn't even let me try to describe my symptoms, just said that someone will call asap Angry
I'm so cross because I could have had the antibiotics by now!

And to complicate things, I'm in the 2ww. Sigh.

Treaclepie19 · 04/08/2014 10:07

Oh no JBrd :( I hope you get some antibiotics soon.

I've been back to the doctors with my thrush. Got another tablet and cream duo. I really hope I'm not pregnant or having two tablets could cause a problem.

Can I join the club? Sorry it's such a well-populated bus but glad for the support and chat.

Stats: Chat 32, DD age 2.11. MC in March '14 (singleton) and Aug '14 (twins). Had surgical management yesterday as they were concerned it may have been a partial molar pregnancy - waiting for histology to come back as ok before starting over again.

Tori it took just over two weeks for my tests to go negative after my mc in March (7w) so fingers crossed your next one will give you the green light.

Hope the doc sorts you out with some ABs soon JB

Jetpackplease · 04/08/2014 11:09

Morning ladies - hope those of you not feeling well get better soon.

6 or 7dpo here and a distinct lack of symptoms. For the last 2 or 3 days I have had a moderately intense stabbing pain on my right hand side, sort of in the uterus area (Bitchpeas, you had this too a few days ago, I seem to recall?)... began to hope it was implantation, but my temps are not very high, so I'm now convinced it's nothing and resenting the rest of the tww.

I constantly wobble between being certain I'll never conceive again and feeling nothing but disdain for the tww, and allowing any micro-symptom to lead me into working out EDDs and name choosing. Confused

I was at a wedding this weekend where there were at least half a dozen heavily pregnant ladies. DH asked me if it was difficult for me seeing them as I would have been 8 months along by now... I promptly burst into tears! I then proceeded to down quite a lot of champagne, telling myself that I was entitled to drink their share of the booze Blush - my hangover was pretty epic and my legs ached from some very energetic dancing!
