The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Oh my goodness smiling, sending you lots of comforting and understanding hugs. I honestly think some people - the ones who've never experienced mc - believe that losing a baby is the same as losing a few strands of hair when you brush; something that is normal, a daily occurrence, nothing major and can be soon forgotten. I get that they've not had to go through it, and I'm happy they've not, but is a little thought and compassion too much to ask for?! Has she tried to contact you since? Did she call after you when you walked off? Xxx

Marmaladecat1 · 16/07/2014 20:12

Come hang with me treacle I have wine and Pringles, food channels (no chance of baby or pregnant women) and Pinterest on the iPad.
Everyone else welcome!

Marmaladecat1 · 16/07/2014 20:14

I agree broody even my friend who has 2 kids said to me after mine 'why do even want another one anyway?' Erm?? When is it ever ok to say that?
It's really made me rethink our friendship.

Treaclepie19 · 16/07/2014 20:51

Sounds good to me marmalade!

People are just rubbish aren't they :/

Boozle80 · 16/07/2014 21:00

I'm in Treacle. Love a good gate crash!

Boozle80 · 16/07/2014 21:03

Tip number 54:
When an individual has been preparing chilli for supper it is not a good idea to check their cervix position, even after washing their hands.
That is all...

Treaclepie19 · 16/07/2014 21:10

Lol boozle! Hands away from our Pringles!!!

Marmaladecat1 · 16/07/2014 21:31

Come on in boozle :)

Justonemoretime · 16/07/2014 21:53

No idea why that posted 3 times. Phone obviously as shocked as your cervix!

Treaclepie19 · 16/07/2014 21:54

Hehehe.

I came on here to rant then remembered what we were talking about :p thanks ladies.

Just been talking to a friend who is due august. Really pissed me off. She's excited about maternity leave - fine - bit when I asked her what she had planned, she replied "feeling sorry for myself".

Oh FFS.

Boozle80 · 16/07/2014 22:13

That's a definite JTFO...

Hope26 · 16/07/2014 22:17

Monten I had cramps come and go and no period. I think I had implantation cramps which were severe. They stopped and after a while I had slight cramps. I though I would start any day. But my biggest sign of AF is really sore boobs before AF starts but in both of my pregnancies I haven't had sore boobs at all until later in pregnancy.

I really hope it's a bfp for you. What cd are you now?

sebsmummy1 · 16/07/2014 22:28

Well my Reflexologist can JTAFO.

She very 'helpfully' sent me a link to the most fucking depressing article about fertility at my age and beyond which very starkly pointed out how knackered and geriatric I am in the ovary department.

I came away from the appointment feeling ok, after reading her email a few hours later felt like a piece of shit. I know she didn't mean any malice at all by it but FFS, it's the equivalent of sending survival rates to a terminally ill patient. Just piss off Angry

Boozle80 · 16/07/2014 23:16

Seb what the chuff is wrong with these people. I'm making compassion sticks for my class next term - I'll make one for her! Are you ok?

Is it possible to get sore boobs 9dpo - I've had them the last couple of days. Bit bizarre. Trying madly not to symptom spot! But they're really sore!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 17/07/2014 06:52

broody she called about an hour later and dp answered as I didnt want to talk to her, she said I had stormed off for no reason and was I still having counselling as there is clearly something wrong with me!

shes text saying she will talk to me when ive calmed down, she can jtfo because ive deleted her number and wont be talking to her ever again.

Still no AF, ive got cramps and really sore boobs which ive had for about 2 weeks, im now 3 days late but still getting bfn Sad

Ive had 2 normal cycles since my mmc so why is it screwed up now?

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 17/07/2014 08:01

smiling what an awful thing to say and such an insensitive way to treat someone. Presumably she's been fortunate enough to never have experienced a mc herself?

boozle I had sore boobs from 9dpo and got a BFP at 10dpo. I never get sore boobs so was highly suspicious! Fx!!

sebs I'm sorry! what is it with people!? Is the heat making people arses?!!

Monten · 17/07/2014 08:16

Thank you hope. I am cd34 (if you count first day of negative hpt as cd1) and cycles are normally 35. So I suppose there is a chance. Will test again in a few days.

Tbh I actually don't think I am pregnant anymore. Has anyone else had lots of cramping but no af in their wtf cycle?

smiling I'm so sorry still no af or bfp. Sometimes it can happen that your cycle is just delayed and might be totally unrelated to mc. Or could you just have ovulated very late so bfps taking a while to show? Sending you hugs. The waiting is just awful.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 17/07/2014 08:16

sebs thats an insensitive thing for her to do x

oneday no I dont think shes had a mc but shes always been a bit of a selfish cow Angry the ironic thing is I was having a good day, you know the rare ones where life feels like it might get better eventually. It was because she was being mean to a waitress and I didnt find it funny and told her to stop being such a cow.

sebsmummy1 · 17/07/2014 09:25

She is 39, like me and has no, nor wants any children of her own - so has no idea about the frustrations of TTC. I assume she is watching her fertility disappear with interest and fascination whereas I am screaming in a corner over it.

So when she sends me a link re. women of my age not ovulating every cycle (as we were talking about the likelihood of this cycle being anovulatory) and is considered quite normal due to the peri-menopause, she thought this would be comforting I think , as in; don't worry, you are normal! Instead it just confirmed my fears and added to them. I'm paying £30 for the privilege too lol. Biatch!! Grin

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 17/07/2014 12:38

sebs sounds like she was in her own way trying to be helpful but even so, still think she should know better in her line of work and demonstrated much more senstivity.

Can anyone help me? I'm going out of my mind! So, Sunday, Wednesday and last night I had a very faint pink line on my internet cheapies (after having almost a week of completely negatives two weeks after ERPC which I was really pleased about as it felt like we could start afresh) This morning, FMU, it's negative again and the days inbetween Sun, Weds and last nights faint lines it's also been negative. What the heck is going on???

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 17/07/2014 12:40

And smiling it sounds like she really is a bit of a knob cheese. I hate people that are rude to waiting staff. I'm sorry she spoilt what was looking like a better day for you.
