The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hi all.
I'm having a ground hog day here.
I'm trying to remedy it with cheesy beans on toast with a G&T chaser.
I highly recommend it!

How are you boozle?

Sounds positive broody sorry you are feeling crap

Hang in there mrsb

Marmaladecat1 · 15/07/2014 20:12

That's A LINE!!!!

Marmaladecat1 · 15/07/2014 20:12

I just squealed out loud!

MrsBeeBeeBee · 15/07/2014 20:14

It makes sense that you wouldn't ovulate whilst you still have high hcg levels. So I guess it would be a longer cycle than normal. I'm 10 days post miscarriage now. We've decided that we aren't going to be doing opks or anything before AF, but we're not going to not TTC if that makes sense.

I really don't want to put any pressure on myself, but we have a holiday booked for Sept when I should have been 20weeks pregnant. I would love to be pregnant again by then as I know otherwise I'll feel really glum on holiday. But I do realise 2.5 months post miscarriage might be expecting a lot!

dulcet hope your tests go negative soon.
treacle keeping fingers crossed this is your month.
one day and foxtrot hope AF arrives soon xx

MrsBeeBeeBee · 15/07/2014 20:16

Crossed posts broody

Eeeeek I can even see a line on my phone!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 15/07/2014 20:29

I can't see much to be honest Broody, but if you say there's a line, there's a line! Think we've all stared at our fair share of blanks to know!

dulcet, i think if you're still showing positive it would be unlikely that you'd get af at the normal time. Don't expect anything hun, expect the unexpected. TTC after a mc is a mine field. Hope it turns -tive soon.

I don't think I'm going to ovulate this cycle. OPKs say no. Didn't in my first cycle post first mc, so going to assume the same this cycle.

Foxtrot7459 · 15/07/2014 20:32

I can see a feint line - massive congrats broody!!

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 15/07/2014 20:39

I can see a line too broody Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

mrsbee I'm in exactly the same scenario as you. We are on holiday in September when I would have been 20 weeks too and I'm desperately hoping I'm pregnant again by then

Boozle80 · 15/07/2014 20:40

Whoop whoop Broody! I'm seeing a line! Oh my gosh! That's amazing!

I'm ok thanks Marmalade feeling glum for no reason - I'm blaming the tale end of the lurgy! Between Broody's line and Gove getting the sack, today is a fine day indeed definitely not one that should be spent feeling glum anyway!

Boozle80 · 15/07/2014 20:43

Cheesy beans - food of the gods! Quite fancy a G and T too - have to wait for AF though next week before I can indulge! How is everyone's Tuesdays going? I also just cried at Long Lost Family. WTF! I never cry at Davina!

Boozle80 · 15/07/2014 20:44

I feel like I've got PMT and in not even due for another week! Maybe I'm onto a super short cycle this month.

jarofpickles · 15/07/2014 20:44

Hi, having been lurking for ages but just need to have a small rant if that's ok! TTC #3, conceived last month but had a MC at 5+4.... This month have now been spotting for 3 days, was hoping it was implantation bleeding (have had IB for last 2 pregnancies) but BFN today. I just hate the random spotting... If AF is going to arrive why can't it just happen!! I know I'm probably just a bit messed up from the MC and I'm bound to come on properly in the next couple of days but can't help but hope a little bit! Why can't this process be more clear cut?! Grrr.

Foxtrot7459 · 15/07/2014 20:49

mrsbee oneday I've set myself the goal of being pregnant enough by Christmas to be able to tell people - which means I need a BFP by/in September - we are all in this together!

Sending positive thoughts to you both x

Foxtrot7459 · 15/07/2014 20:52

jarof welcome and rant away!

I hate this process too - way to much waiting around, the lack of control is killing me as I am a complete control freak. I just want to see AF so I can properly move on arrrrggghhhhhhhhhh!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 15/07/2014 21:19

Welcome Jarof, sorry about your mc. Don't expect anything from your cycles post mc. Fx you get your BFP soon.

I've set myself the goal of just being preggers by Christmas. I conceived cycle 4 post first mc so hope for at least the same this time round. Please body, do what I want for once!!

Hope26 · 15/07/2014 21:56

Broody I can see a line too!! Congrats!

Jar it does suck waiting for AF or a bfp just don't lose hope.

I hope all your ladies get your bfp before the end of the year or before your edd.

I don't feel pregnant at all.. No major symtoms except slight cramping here and there. Seems surreal. I am getting tired but maybe that's because it's the end of term and my body is shutting down knowing school is over on Friday for the summer. I won't believe it until I see it on my 12 week scan. Sounds a bit stupid huh?

Metalhead · 15/07/2014 22:02

broody I think I can see where there would be a line, though not sure if I'm actually seeing one if that makes sense?! But if others can and you can then I'm hoping this is it for you. x

Treaclepie19 · 15/07/2014 22:07

BROODY!!! I can see a line!!! :)

Daisybell1 · 15/07/2014 22:09

Broody - that's a line! Congratulations!!!

I'm so sorry for not catching up with you all but I'm in a state here. Had an 8 week scan today at my local hospital - still a heartbeat but only a couple of days growth in the sac size since two weeks ago Sad The sonographer was a complete witch and refused to do an internal scan (am clinging to this as the reason for the lack of change in measurements - futile) and also refused to scan me again - apparently St Mary's policy of offering 6, 8 and 10 week scans is excessive Hmm

I will go back and read properly, and be less me me me next time, I promise!

Treaclepie19 · 15/07/2014 23:10

Oh Daisy, I'm so sorry to hear that.
What have they said they will do then?
When do you get a scan?
I hope it's just because the stupid woman didn't do an internal xxx

EnglishGirlsReturned · 15/07/2014 23:11

Oh Daisy, how worrying for you. A it worth paying for a private scan? I do think that is a little unfair. Did you see a nurse or anything after the sonographer?
The nurse I saw was really nice and supportive. It certainly helps.
Fx all is well and continues to go well. Try and art positive.

Boozle80 · 15/07/2014 23:13

Daisy that's shit! Do these people have no idea? They've cancelled all my follow up scans in August as well as they've decided it's not viable to check me after my ovary haemorrhaged. Tell them you'll do a sit in until they check you! What does your gp say? It's sometimes worth going through them if you have a sympathetic one? Sending you massive hugs and kicks in the shins for witch like sonographers!
And now that Gove's been sacked I don't know who to blame this on!

Treaclepie19 · 15/07/2014 23:16

Haha boozle, not sacked, "promoted". Yeah right :p

Hope26 · 15/07/2014 23:30

Daisy hang in there and get. Private scan for your own sanity. Hope it all goes well for you.

Ladies all this baby talk is making me think about all the innocent children and people dying in Gaza. Pray for them #freepalestine.

We are blessed to be safe in our homes knowing we will wake up the next day and our family is safe. They can't even sleep at night in fear of a missile landing on their homes. May God protect our children and families.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 16/07/2014 07:11

Oh daisy are you in a position to get a private scan for a bit more clarity? That's really shitty that they wouldn't scan you internally.
