The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Oh Cakebaker, I'm so happy and relieved that everything has worked out well for you. So nice to see you pop back in. Wishing you all the luck in the world for a straight forward 27 weeks!! Smile

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 14/07/2014 21:36

If only it were that easy to go online and get a spell eh!?!

broodylicious · 14/07/2014 21:42

Aah cake, that's wonderful news! Smile So lovely to hear a positive graduate story Smile

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2014 21:44

I can get you all a spell if you like. DH always said I was a witch. Ill even do it for free for you lovely lot. Multiplus impregneamus! That's one for us all to get pregnant at the same time, not for us all to have twins!

Hi cake, great news from you!! Hope the rest of the pregnancy is smoother than the start!

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 14/07/2014 22:04

Congratulations cake it's so lovely to hear the stories of those who have been hear and now have the good news they deserve.

Thanks for the spell dulcet, so kind of you!

broodylicious · 14/07/2014 22:21

Thanks for the spell dulcet! Yeah please no twins for me, I can barely look after one, I'd be awful with another two on top of her! Is there anyone with twins in their family on here? Think it's hereditary, isn't it?

Treaclepie19 · 14/07/2014 22:26

My sisters are twins, but they are half sisters. Although Im pretty sure that it's from my mom as she got pregnant with twins again before me (with my dad) but miscarried.
I'd love twins (I say that now).

Marmaladecat1 · 14/07/2014 22:26

I'll take the spell thank you :)
Lovely to know you are well cake

I rummage secretly with packets in the bathroom too.
Sed bathroom got the tail end of my bfn wtf cycle rage tonight. It's very clean and shiny now though.
The front door has also be assaulted with the Hoover.
I may not be pregnant but I have a very clean house!

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 14/07/2014 23:03

I have twins in my family and I have triplet sisters ... Gah!

I'm glad I'm not the only secret poas-er. I now hide them at the bottom of the bin so there's no evidence!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 14/07/2014 23:12

My dad's a twin! I'd love twins!!
It's only non-identical twins that run in families, so I'm in with a chance! It would be amazing!

I'll have a spell over here too Dulcet please!! Wink

broodylicious · 15/07/2014 07:24

Secret poas-ers, you ladies are funny! Must admit I've been burying ov sticks/packets further down the bin so dh doesn't see them.

marm, with you on the cleaning attack! I bought a handheld steam cleaner yesterday and tackled our bathroom - oh my goodness, I love it! I also bought and planted some herbs yesterday so having a thoroughly middle age time at the moment!

Metalhead · 15/07/2014 07:54

cake that's lovely news, I'm so pleased for you! Hope the rest of your pregnancy is less stressful.

We dtd last night after I got my +opk and I threw everything at it, including conceive plus and pillow under bum. Will have another go tonight and tomorrow if DH can manage it, and then the waiting game will start again.

sebsmummy1 · 15/07/2014 09:36

Cake I check the positivity thread every week or so so I know you are all fine and am delighted and relieved that everything is progressing beautifully. Lots and lots of love to you and fedup xxxx

Metal it's interesting that our cycles seem to have teamed up again Grin

Well we DTD last night and the night before and twice the day before lol. Timing wise I'm not sure as the fertility monitor pulled the Peak out the bag whist I was still waiting for EWCM. Will have to just wait and see I suppose. I'm going to order some ICs and atart testing from 9dpo I think as seeing lots of BFNs last month was weirdly easier than doing just the one at 11 dpo when I knew it should be showing a positive or waiting for AF as then I just knocker check all the bloody time.

sebsmummy1 · 15/07/2014 09:38

Knicker and knocker check lol

Metalhead · 15/07/2014 10:23

Haha, we can knicker and knocker check together sebs! Grin

broodylicious · 15/07/2014 12:57

Sorry for yet another self absorbed post but... Oh my, I'm feeling so poo. Pukey sick, slightly dizzy, bloated tummy, totally exhausted and not to mention quite tender boobs. I will not be impressed if this is all leading up to AF at the weekend (going on pre mc 28d cycles). Gaaaaaarrrr!! I'm so crap at waiting!! Told dh over lunch I think I could be pg and he looked so delighted, I'll feel doubly shit if it turns out negative.

sebsmummy1 · 15/07/2014 13:00

Fingers crossed for you broody xxxx
It's funny as the month I fell pregnant 'properly' I had no symptoms whatsoever, so I'm always more excited when I feel nothing in the 2ww.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 15/07/2014 13:13

Still no af here, I didnt poas this morning as couldnt face another negative.

Im also a secret poas lady although tbf to dp he doesnt moan as long as its amazon cheapies, he doesnt understand why I need to do it daily though.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 15/07/2014 13:20

broody when was the last time you poas? It all sounds very positive.

MrsBeeBeeBee · 15/07/2014 17:27

Hello ladies.
Sorry I've been a bit rubbish at offering support to others. Been moping far too much... But I think bleeding has about stopped and I've decided I need to stop feeling sorry for myself so will aim to be around a lot more.

Love reading the positive stories on here. Fingers crossed for lots more soon.

I'm still waiting for my positive pregnancy tests to go negative. Last did a test on Friday which was still about as strong as control line so going to wait until the weekend to do another and hope to see it's faded a bit!

Treaclepie19 · 15/07/2014 18:37

Fingers crossed for you broody :)

MrsBee, you have every right to mope!
I hope your tests turn negative soon.

On Cd7. Bleeding is stopping.
I will get pregnant this month!

Foxtrot7459 · 15/07/2014 19:20

My FIL is a non identical twin but midwife told me that only identical twins are hereditory so who knows! I wouldn't mind twins as it be two for one and would be a complete family in one go - DH is adamant that we won't have an only child however right now I would just take one and not have to go through all this again!

Still no AF - want it to turn up and go before my holiday next week but that is now looking unlikely and I want to at least try to get pregnant!

Fingers crossed Broody - when I got pregnant I just knew, even after first test was negative I told DH I thought I was and a test a few days later confirmed this. I got a random really strong sense of smell which convinced me.

DulcetMoans · 15/07/2014 19:33

Still have positive tests here too mrsbee, I'm 18 days post-MC now. Not sure if there is an average time for it to disappear. On normal cycles I should have AF early next week so hopefully it will disappear by then!

You know your body better than anyone broody, when will you test?

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 15/07/2014 19:41

mrsbee dulcet my pg tests turned completely negative after 10 days ish. I'm still so unclear as to if AF will be triggered only once ovulation has taken place after the -ve hpt? Surely if your body still inks your pregnant and is giving +ve host it won't ovulate and therefore no AF? So bloody annoying not knowing what to expect and waiting for AF. I'm hoping it's soon, I'm fed up.

broodylicious · 15/07/2014 20:10

Couldn't bloody resist could I?! There's a very faint line on the early asda own brand (can hardly see it on the pic but honestly I'm not imagining it.... Am I?!)
