The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

POAS again this morning. Pretty sure if I told my councillor this i would be sectioned inside of an hour!!
Not sure why I am doing it, just know I am bloody obsessed. I think it's because a series of bfn's seems easier to handle the eventuality that I am not pregnant. AF due this weekend which means five days to get my head around the idea I may not be preggas. I am hoping it gets easier next cycle

Just popping in to say hello, I can't keep up with this thread at the moment. Nothing much to report here, CD14 and expecting to ov next weekend or early next week so have dtd for fun a couple of times so far, then will be getting down to serious business from Thursday.

smiling I'm exactly the same. Convinced I'm pregnant. When is your period due? Mine is today or tomorrow due to short luteal phase.

I was really naughty and tested today though and bfn but with my pregnancy I didn't test positive until 11dpo so no idea why I tested.

Now I have af cramps and I'm upset. Maybe I'm not oregnant after all :(

Thanks boozle it's good to hear someone else had the spotting too. I'm a bit confused, my ov sticks have come up positive the last two days but the one today was negative so I'm wondering if maybe I did ovulate? If so, dtd last night would have been at the right time so now I'm foolishly hoping that I've caught before my first AF. Utterly ridiculously unrealistic but that's my brain at the moment!

I'm with lou POAS and it was of course BFN. I have no idea why I torture myself with it?

I had a miscarriage this weekend at 8+5, confirmed with a scan today. Hubs and I have had a chat and decided we want to TTC again straight away.

If anyone doesn't mind telling me their experience of ovulation after mc?

I didn't ovulate after I finished bleeding. Pretty sure as I was temping.

I have ovulated this cycle though and hoping to be pregnant again :)

mrsbee sorry for your loss and that you find yourself here. Ladies are lovely so you have found yourself in the right place!
I am slightly different in that I tfmr but was told it's the same as mc in terms of the body doing what it does.

I was 16wks, bled for 2.5 wks, light, AF 5 weeks after - all of this was 8 wks ago and currently on 2ww awaiting bfp or AF. Pretty sure I didn't ovulate before AF came although can't be certain, pretty sure I ovulated this month but ov sticks etc can be misleading after mc due to hormones.

Think maybe we'll just see how it goes after bleeding stops then and maybe do opks after next af. I've been told to do a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks to make sure it goes negative.

Welcome MrsBee - I too had an anovulatory cycle imediately following mc#1, then I seemed to ovulate every other month.
I'm currently 2 weeks post erpc for mc#2 and hoping this cycle may be different. All I can tell you is, don't expect anything. Dodgy discharge, odd ovulation, weird af are all common post mc. Just look after yourself and get back to ttc when you feel ready.

I was the same - pretty sure I didn't ov in the three months following my mc then the ov sticks said I did last month but I'm not convinced - I had enough sex to inpregnate a convent full of nuns last month and still a bfn. This month I'm temping alongside to double/triple check that I really have.

So sorry for your losses! Ttc after mc can drive you crazy. I hate google so much. I actually wish we Werent so dependant in technology and did it the old fashion way of just randomly doing it!

Another bfn.. Guess it's time to make a doctors appointment. July wasn't my month ladies.. Instead it was a deceiving month where I thought I was pg due to Af not arriving.. My cycle is definitely longer after mc. Miss te days when I knew my body so well and took it for granted...

Hi MrsB I bled for 2ish weeks don't seem to be OVing in this cycle- I'm 5 weeks post natural miscarriage.
The cycle is known as the WTF cycle!
So sorry for your loss, these lovely ladies have been a real source of support for me. Please feel free to rant away if you want to. I rant a lot!

Hi MrsBee, sorry you find yourself here. I am only 10 days post-mc so don't have any ovulation stories I am afraid. Just hoping I do ovulate but its a bit of an unknown because any technology won't work when stupid body thinks it's pregnant!

Went back to gym classes today. Had to tell instructor I no longer had 'a condition'. That was hard. She had been giving lower impact options, as is normal if you have an injury or are pregnant. Today I was back to normal impact and it felt quite upsetting really. Just another thing that confirms I am no longer pregnant. One more instructor to tell though. Then I think that's it... everyone knows that knew before and life is back to normal.

Dulcet that super sucks. It's horrible isn't it? I burst in to tears the other day going back through the kids books to make sure they're all marked up to date and the only one that wasn't was done on the day I found out the baby had no heartbeat. Just super shit. Sending hugs

I'm so sorry dulcet that must have been really hard.
I can identify with that one boozle had similar at my school too.
I'm starting to wonder if I ever will feel anything but this again? I think this might be normal now.

Marmalade I know what you mean about this new feeling being normal. I don't think that I will ever feel the same as I did before tfmr, it's changed me forever. I am starting to get my head around it now and I am sure that I won't feel sad as much as time goes by but I can't imagine that one day will go by that I don't think about no.1 that wasn't destined for this life, even if just a split second, 20 years from now, I will think about it every day.

On a more upbeat note and what I am considering somewhat of a triumph, I DID NOT POAS this morning. Hooray!

I treat biscuits like HPT's - complete in ability to save some for later.

I don't buy biscuits, I am thinking I shouldn't buy preggas tests until 7 days after missed period!

hope I'm so sorry neither af nor bfp arrived. If it provides any consolation, my cycle is normally 35 days like clockwork. One cycle, for absolutely no reason, it was 44 days. I was devastated, as I was sure I must be pregnant. I wasn't. But I did get pregnant the very next cycle. So for me, while annoying, it wasn't a sign of anything wrong.

I said something awful to dp last night and now I feel terrible. We are at my mums in France and he's been getting stuck into the wine. He also smokes, which I hate. Last night, after he polished off the wine, again, I said 'we'll that won't do your dodgy sperm any good'. He's really really upset and now I feel terrible. We've made up but he's now gone out for a really long cycle. He's been so good with me a now I feel awful. I wish I could take it back.

On the poas front, I have deliberately not brought any tests with me. We don't get back till next Thursday!! I'm getting a lot of cramps but no af. Big boobs. I'm terrified what will happen if af arrives.
