The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Just did an ov stick as that's all I have in the house, till strong positive. I'm guessing that means a pregnancy test would be too? Anyone know?

MC was only 9 days ago and i had a strong positive weds too so probably not actual ov...

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 15:45

I'd say still positive dulcet, sorry.
Best to test properly when you can though x

Hope26 · 06/07/2014 17:16

Hi ladies. Just an update. I did a clearblue digital test yesterday and it came out bfn. I'm not pregnant and still waiting for AF. My first AF came on cd35.. I'm currently cd34 so I'm expecting it tomorrow. My cycle length used to be 30-31 days, it's definitely gone longer after D&C. Just want my body back to normal quickly. If it doesn't come then I will go see a doctor. I've never missed a period in my life except when I've been pregnant so quite worried.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 06/07/2014 18:18

Was just for fun Dulcet, still had a faint hpt yesterday. I wanted to start so that if I randomly ovulate soon after hpt turns negative there were some swimmers loitering. Obsessed much!!

Survived the baby shower without any sadness or tears. Just happiness for the mum to be. Although there was a girl there who has just announced her pregnancy - which I would have been doing around now if i'd not mc'd Sad

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 19:03

Well done English, you are stronger than me!

It will be you soon. Big hugs xxx

Hope, could it be too early to test if you're not sure when af should arrive?

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 06/07/2014 20:11

hope im no expert but my gp told me that there is no normal after a mc, some womens cycles return to normal straight away others take months to get back to normal, so please try not to worry x

english you were very brave, I couldnt face a babyshower, im avoiding a bbq next weekend because I cant face the group of friends that will be there. I havent seen any of them since the mc and dont want to go through another round of sorry/at least you know you can get pregnant/you can try agains.

Lou07708 · 06/07/2014 20:19

Hi ladies, POAS again today. Wtf!!! This time I caught myself opening the case and putting the strip to the light CONVINCED I seen a faint line. Obviously it was CLEARLY negative. In a way I wish AF would just get here to put me out if my misery. Not even due until next week.

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 20:21

I can sympathise lou!

Will be testing tomorrow even though I'll only be 10dpo as I just can't cope!
I feel exactly as I did when pregnant last time except for more nauseous.

Fingers crossed for us x

Justonemoretime · 06/07/2014 20:29

Fundraiser went really well yesterday :)
English, brave lady!
There were a few bumps at the event yesterday, but I was so busy, it didn't bother me, really.
Had some WTF spotting yesterday on CD6, but seems OK today. Gearing up for shag week. My cycle was only 26 days last month, so we may have a shot before DH goes to the States next weekend. Jeronimo!

tannyLoo · 06/07/2014 20:36

Jump to it, Just! I started shagathon on cd7 and I have a 26 day cycle, ov on day 12, so carpe diem!

Brummiegirl15 · 06/07/2014 20:50

Evening all - hope we've all had good / peaceful weekends without stupid comments

lou and treacle I'm with you both - I'm 8 dpo and desperate to test!!!

Got busy week though so hoping I can keep going to next weekend before testing

Marmaladecat1 · 06/07/2014 20:53

hope and lou I completely get that!
I have been POAS daily and I'm not due until next week I don't think.
I have no idea what's going on- Tmi warning, I've had damp pants all day buy no ewcm so what is going on?
I just wish I had AF or a BFP.
F/C treacle!
Go for it just!

Hope26 · 06/07/2014 20:55

Clueblue ovulation sticks said I ovulated cd16.. And now I'm cd34.. If I was pregnant it should've shown by now.. I think my AF is coming tomorrow or in a few days time.. This wait has sucked. I've wasted so much money testing, so ladies I know it's hard, but don't waste your money even cheapies until the first day of your period date! I regret it so much so I will now not test until its AF day for next month

Marmaladecat1 · 06/07/2014 20:55

Hang in there do

You were really brave english

broodylicious · 06/07/2014 21:01

Gosh this thread moves fast!

I'm sorry to have read some of you ladies are really down and struggling with the number of bumps around. You're so brave going to baby showers, there's not a chance I'd have the strength to do that! I'm trying to be positive and think about how I don't know peoples stories and whether or not they may have struggled to get their bumps, so not to be begrudging and focus on me. It's hard. Lord knows it's hard. But otherwise, with my history of depression (had PND after I had dd, brought on by sleep deprivation), I just think I will go downhill again.

I'm on cd15 and got a relatively strong line on my ic ov stick earlier so I shall be partaking in as much TITH as we can manage over the next few days. Dh is on lates tonight (won't be back til 1030), I may wait up for him to pounce - although dd usually stirs about 11 so could catch us mid shag. Otherwise, it's all systems go tomorrow night. Or might that be too late? What do you ladies think?

broodylicious · 06/07/2014 21:05

You're not out til the witch appears, hope. I'm keeping everything crossed for you x Same for you treacle x

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 21:38

I'd go for tonight if you can manage it broody.
Thanks :) I'm cramping a bit now so hoping it's not af.

officelady · 07/07/2014 07:06

Morning gang ... and so begins another week. I'm in a weird sort of limbo at the moment (this seems to be an ongoing theme with me) - I had an almost-but-not-quite positive OPK on cd11 and 12, but have had very clear negatives since then - literally no second line at all. So I thought I was about to ovulate but it never really developed into anything. I have had absolutely no other signs either, no ewcm, my temps are fairly level apart from small dips on cd10 and cd14. So I reckon I am in yet another annovulatory cycle, this will be the 4th one. What a load of old bollocks this ttc lark is.
I hope you are all more successful than I am! Some of you seem to be getting lots of pg symptoms so I really hope that is a good sign. Hopefully some bfps coming our way this week Smile

bythesea82 · 07/07/2014 08:28

Morning all, still no AF here, still no positives, I am joining the wierd and unpredictable cycles club please!

Boozle80 · 07/07/2014 08:49

Morning all! Well done to everyone surviving the weekend - sounds like some of you have had a very hard time of it. I've spent the weekend merrily drinking beer in a yurt, deciding I must be pregnant so must stop drinking beer in said yurt and then slapping myself round the face with a, tuna sized, fish and reminding myself I haven't actually ov'd yet so that would be petty hard! Broody I'd pounce - you'll only worry that you should have if you don't - but then again I think we've established that I'm slightly neurotic on that front! My poor DP is desperate for a break, all his illusions of getting it on tap are shattered as he's realised it's rather hard work! Have a happy Monday everyone and fingers crossed for all that are POAS this week.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 07/07/2014 10:11

Morning everyone,

dulcet don't beat yourself up about not checking for a negative test. There's so much conflicting advice, you just have to do what's right for you. I'm very much going for the if my body is ready to get pregnant again before AF then it will happen.

treacle and hope really am hoping your AF stays away and it's good news for you.

So we dtd for the first time last night. 2 weeks after ERPC and after 3 days of no bleeding. I cried and cried afterwards, partly because it was so nice to connect with DH again but also because it was kind if confirming that I wasn't pg anymore and it was the start of trying again. This morning, I've got some light brown spotting. Am guessing this is just old blood that has been dislodged? Sorry if TMI with your cornflakes! Did anyone else have this?

DulcetMoans · 07/07/2014 10:23

Morning all!

Oneday, I had that, and infact that reaction and description is pretty much exactly what happened in my house. Sounds normal to me. Glad you are back on it though, and the bleeding has stopped!

Boozle, I think they all like the idea of the sex on tap when TTC but its much more of a chore than they appreciate!

I still have this lower back/kidney pain. Wondering if it could be an infection and considering going to doctors. Anyone had this? I am 10 days on today.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 07/07/2014 10:34

Oh, and at 9:40 this morning we would have been having our 12 week scan. Super. We're off out for the day to take our minds off it.

I've been googling success stories of people falling pregnant two weeks after mc/ERPC - welcoming any fish slaps! That with signs of infection after sex following ERPC. Can't win as I'm freaking out about pg and infection and thinking that we dtd too soon! Arghhh!

dulcet I don't think it can hurt going to he Dr just to put your mind at rest?

Boozle80 · 07/07/2014 12:02

oneday I also had the spotting thing for the first few times after dtd, I think it's just old blood - nice! I refuse to fish slap you for googling quick conception stories - it gives us all hope!
I've just got a solid blue smiley and text DP to tell him to come home early tonight! He's replied (and I quote) 'my swimmers take at least 24 hours to replenish to top quality, even then apparently there are only 50-60% in quantity, I have come to work for a break and to allow my baby making abilities to replenish, spend your time not quoting bizarre baby making facts but buying oysters or underwear or something! That said, see you tonight love...'
So he does listen to my statistics! And then uses them against me - gah!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 07/07/2014 12:12

Oh boozle im sorry but that made me laugh!

im still convinced im pregnant, please someone slap me before I have the horrible horrible let down of af, I think I might fall apart if im not. I dont know how to talk myself out of this certainty that I just am, theres no evidence and af isnt due till next week, I think I might have gone a bit mad Sad
