Ttc after cerazette

Ok so I have read some real horror stories in respect of trying to conceive after cerazette and thought I would share my story or bore you all with my progress (or possible lack of haha)

So I stopped taking cerazette one week ago at the end of the last packet as me and my partner decided we would start Ttc.

First couple of days I had very light bleeding but felt fine then on the third day I started feeling bloated. To date I am still looking and feeling bloated, feel exhausted and have sore boobs and have been feeling very nauseous.

Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for you to conceive?

Stringy cm is a good sign you are ovulating as this is the fertile CM the little swimmers use to help them swim up to the egg, good luck and enjoy :D

I'm a newbie to mums net. Was googling coming off Cerazette to see what u could find.

Stopped taking the pill in May and had one very light bleed about two or three days after stopping since then nothing at all.

We are getting married in September and want to TTC very soon after. I was on cerazette for about 4 years and during that time my sex drive completely went downhill, to the point when I didn't even want to cuddle! I went to the doctors about it and had a checkup and they assured me everything was fine and there was no reason for me to be feeling like this ... I hadn't put it down to cerazette!

I came off it back in May as I wanted to just be me for the wedding no chemicals, hoping to loose a bit of weight and then TTC very soon after September!

So.... straight away my sex drive came back dramatically, my fiance
Longer thinks I'm a frigid b1tch! He doesn't think it's down to coming off the pill but I so do, even more so after reading this thread!

So our wedding is fast approaching and no AF yet since coming off in May... JUST MY LUCK IT WILL COME ON OUR WEDDING DAY!

I really hope it doesn't take months for my system to get back into the good cycle is really hoping to TTC very soon!

Just an update for you ladies, I had a faint faint line yesterday 8/9 dpo then in the evening I started bleeding :(

Still bleeding now 6 days early for predicted AF and a stupidly short time after ovulation. I think sadly it's due to the pill and with such a short time after ovulation I just think my body couldn't quite keep whatever was there. I'll check to make sure it isn't implantation bleeding by testing in a few days (but I'm sure it isn't now).

On the plus side, going to have some wine but boo hoo! I used to always have regular 28day cycles before the pill.

I conceived immediately after stopping Cerazette, no periods for over two years so there is hope! Good luck ladies!

Do you mean you conceived, had bubba and the continued with no periods? :-)

I got married, came straight off Microgynon and conceived dd1 straightaway with no period. I then went on Cerazette and was breastfeeding, came off Cerazette when dd1 was 9mo and conceived dd2 straightaway, again with no period. Dd2 is now 10mo and I have the implant, still never had a period for over 3 years now yet have conceived two babies!

Awhhhh sairei had such hopes for u this month. Lets hope its implantation. Keep us updated. I no its very hard but keep positive. Y lindsay that was a quick BFP for u i am so jealous.

Took my last pill last night... all systems go, I guess!

Have been getting some mild cramps in my left side , shooting pains in my boobs and nausea! Feels different to how I was feeling last month so
Keeping everything crossed it's a positive sign :)

Good luck to everyone, it's good to see the updates. I'm going to try an ovulation kit next month if no luck this month (I didn't want to stress so I haven't before, but I think it might make it easier) Any tips from anyone? I read that staying flat after dtd to keep everything in for ten minutes can increase chances, I also heard deeper positions may help but no evidence to back it up. Any other tips from anyone?

So it was a chemical :( I'm over it now though and back on for cycle two. I know I can conceive I think last cycle was just too messed up that it didn't stick. But this time I'm feeling positive, if it doesn't happen again I'll need to check what can be done.

CD7 today and waiting for ovulation.

You can buy opk sticks for cheap online, its so cheap that it doesn't make sense not to use them. The only reason I can think of is if you don't want to added pressure of knowing that you are ovulating (if that makes sense)?

I'm so happy right now, my OPK is starting to go darker towards positive! I think by the weekend it will be positive.

Which is GREAT as I always used to ovulate (before the pill) about CD10-12 where as my post pill first cycle was like CD16. That's a MASSIVE difference and I don't think my body could quite cope with it. It might mean my cycles are back to normal and I have a better chance at getting a sticky BFP this time!

Hi girls, just a wee update, i think im now about 11dpo, i have been feeling very sick since yesterday, is this a sign? Or mayb not although my fingers crossed. Cant tell u how much im waiting for a bfp. This week wil b the longest week of my life.

On a positive-ish note, I've got noticeably dark rings around my nipples! Now starting to think I may have ovulated slightly earlier as well but didn't use OPK or chart BBT so not sure just going to hold out until I would expect AF to arrive

Not feeling great today ladies. Still feeling very nausiated although iv had a few cramps this morning so now i am worries AF is going to make an appearance. Soooo thought this wast the month. I wil keep u's updated.

Think I'm coming up to ovulation, changes in CM, BBT going up but the lines on the OPK stick isn't dark, there's a line but it's not strongly coloured... Hmmmm, what do you trust more?

Fx for your Loopylinx83! Feel your pain on the nausea even tho am only about 5/6 dpo have the same had to leave work early today because it was so bad!

Mzzf I've never used opks but have heard charting bbt helps so would just say get in plenty of BDing!

Strange thing happened last night got out of bed to use the loo in the night and as I did had a sharp pinching pain down there on the left side! Never had that before so hoping it's a good sign :)
