The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Ooh is it chloe's test date tomorrow? My memory is in bits!!

Will def raise up a stay away af dance and good vibes for happy and yes damn right to not do any work on a strike day. 6 more days teacher berries and only 1 more Monday morning!! I think it was happy that got me and my TA through this term as we were all a bit Agghhhhh going back after half term and I used your line of only 6 more Mondays, has got us through!!

Pixie001 · 10/07/2014 23:11

hello...tentatively stepping in to see what's been happening over the last 6 months since I've been incognito. i think i last posted something like Dec but it was such a relief to come back and see the elderberrys are still alive and kicking!

and there's a few names i recognise (although i realise you may not remember me...) hey bunny, barking, gillster and anyone else.

since there's some options that are finally beginning to open themselves up for DH and i on the fertility front i thought i'd reconnect with ya berries if that's ok?

HowsTheSerenity · 11/07/2014 00:01

WTF!
AF is a week early. I've never been early in my entire 24 years of experiencing evil monthly haemorrhages.
I was a few days late last month which I attributed to first AF off clomid.
Why am I early now. Do I call the FS (when they open) and start all the injections now?

barkingtreefrog · 11/07/2014 00:15

serenity yes, call the fc. Do you have injections you have to do in the morning? Stupid qu, but is it definitely AF? (I only ask because mine are very unobvious hence having 4 scans before starting IUI because it hadn't started 'properly')

Hello, pixie, I remember you! Smile Glad to hear you have options, tell us all!! Grin . We've managed to shove quite a few out to the copter in the last 6 months but I'm still here, as is Happy and occasionally Boodle, another two names you might recognise!

OP posts:
happylass · 11/07/2014 07:31

Yes Serenity definitely call the FC!
Welcome back Pixie. Let us know how you've been getting on.
Good luck for today Chloe!
No sign of AF as yet Smile. Hoping she'll hold off for another day to make a September start a bit more secure.
Can't believe I have to go to work today. Im still zombified from the lack of sleep over the last week . Have a good day all.

funkymonk · 11/07/2014 07:51

Good luck Chloe!

Hi Pixie!

Celebrations are in order. 2 days ago I had been on the berry threads for a whole year. Anniversary of miscarriage 1, closely followed next weekend by due date of baby 2 ( the hardest one of the lot after we'd seen it's little heart beating). Anyone care to join me in a Berry HQ Friday night bash?

Barking are your blood tests today?

funkymonk · 11/07/2014 07:54

Sorry Barking, I missed all the last page of posts for some reason. Go raspberry leaf tea!

chloechloe · 11/07/2014 08:11

Headfuck central. Internet cheapie yesterday 5dp5dt BFN. Same again today. Had a shower then woke up DH and told him and showed him the test 20 min later. Suddenly there was something that might be a line but so so so so faint that I'm not sure. The instructions say the result has to be read in 5 min or not valid. Was so sure it hasn't worked and had tried to manage my expectations for a BFN but now I've started hoping again. Been for blood test at clinic but won't have the result until the afternoon.

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/07/2014 08:20

Fingers crossed Chloe
That equates to 10dpo right?

barkingtreefrog · 11/07/2014 08:23

Chloe how bloody annoying, ambiguity is the worst Angry . At least you'll have your blood results this afternoon and won't have to wait to poas tomorrow for an answer. Sending berry power to get you through to the result Thanks .

funky that's a tough week. I'm here with the gin and Wine , let me know when you need a top up Thanks .

OP posts:
barkingtreefrog · 11/07/2014 08:25

merk I think it's 11 dpo today and another test on Monday on 14dpo so they see early on whether levels are doubling. Just in case you hadn't noticed Chloe's double test situation further up!

OP posts:
barkingtreefrog · 11/07/2014 08:28

And I know what you're going to say next merk as it's still early and I was very tempted to point out I only got a vv faint bfp on 12dpo but that's not helpful, naughty merk Wink .

Sorry, will quit multiple posting now Blush .

FeatherFeather11 · 11/07/2014 08:52

chloe I had a VERY faint line that I only noticed when I got home from work on an IC at 10dpo. I have absolutely everything crossed for you. Even my arm hairs. Flowers

chloechloe · 11/07/2014 08:53

Full marks and a gold star for barking it's 11dpo (discounting the month in the freezer in between!)

TheRainDrops · 11/07/2014 10:50

chloe willing on a positive blood test result this afternoon, we need some good news!!

funky that's a trifecta of rubbishness right there, I'm sorry you've got all that to get through at all, let alone so back to back. Finding you lot has been the only upside to this ttc bollocks, so I'll drink a g&t to that.

Hi Pixie - I must've joined just after you temporarily departed. Please do share what you're up to - I've also only recently been given any sort of 'plan' after 2 and a bit years, it does feel good in a weird way.

happy glad the trip went well and hope you get to catch up on some sleep this weekend.

tiger how's the jam making?

I'm having a bit of a glum day, sure sign that AF is en route. On the plus side I've only got a half day at work before going out for some quality time with my Mum. In the rain. Oh well!

tigerdog · 11/07/2014 10:58

Good luck chloe am thinking of you.

funky a big squeeze and Wine to you. Tough times Thanks

Hi pixie! I joined in Jan so you won't know me but have been hanging out in berry HQ since then. 18 months ttc and nada, unexplained infertility.

serenity how did you get on? Cycles tend to balance if you are usually regular I find, so a short one may well come after a long one. Good luck with getting started.

Feeling a bit sniffly, can't work out if its a cold or hayfever. Glad it's Friday and looking forward to a quiet weekend after the hectic and boozy one of last week.

tigerdog · 11/07/2014 11:09

X post rain didn't get to pyo place as the traffic was so bad due to an accident on the motorway. So my jam making plans have been thwarted! Will have to content myself with cake baking for local food festival on Sunday instead! That glumness that comes just before af is the pits. Hope you manage to enjoy your day and time with your mum!

WildflowerMarmalade · 11/07/2014 11:12

Laughing at Feather crossing her arm hairs for chloe - I'm not sure I can manage to cross arm hairs for you chloe but hoping for the best for you.

happy welcome back from Italy you must be made of stern stuff to manage the lack of sleep and now work. Thank Heavens for strike days! Hope AF stays away for a bit longer so it's all go in September.

tiger I feel gutted on your behalf that PYO was closed! I love jam making, but cake making is just as good. Enjoy!

barking yay for raspberry leaf tea, that's Berry power in action. Always so much good advice and support here, for which I for one am grateful.

serenity our bodies can be so flipping annoying! Always mixing things up to keep us on our toes. Sounds exciting though if you are about to get going with IVF.

lumen hope you are getting on ok and that the debrief FC appointment sheds some light. Will you let us know what they say?

rain enjoy your rainy day out, it can be quite atmospheric sometimes when it's wet.

Not much to report here, just been to stay with my parents for a few days. Haven't discussed TTC situation but they obviously know it's not happening. I always feel that they feel sorry for me and it makes me more sad about it all.

We are basically out this month as DH was away during fertile week. Have an appointment with consultant in a couple of weeks at which he will say that it's IVF time. I really wish that wasn't the case because I'm not sure how I will cope with the pressure of it.

Hello Pixie and welcome back.

KittenOfWoe · 11/07/2014 11:32

Wotcha berries.

Hi pixie I'm pretty new here so a big hello from me, and here's hoping to good news for you soon.

chloe Ooh here's hoping for some good results then, are they going to phone you with the results today or do you need to stalk them?

Welcome back happy, sounds like a chilled weekend is very much deserved as a reward.

Bless you funky - def raising a glass both to and with you in that case petal Wine

Hope the rest of you lovely lot are all alright too and people are having a better Friday than our Monday!

chloechloe · 11/07/2014 12:52

Omg omg omg omg omg. HCG 12 IU/L. Currently locked in my office crying in shock.

WildflowerMarmalade · 11/07/2014 13:09

Woohoo!! Grin that's fantastic news chloe

Also - I misread your post as saying that you were in your office cycling in shock instead of crying . I had a vision of you on an exercise bike pedalling madly. But there seem to be so many cycling enthusiasts on this thread that I just accepted it.

Anyway, congratulations (and keep pedalling).

barkingtreefrog · 11/07/2014 13:14

Ha ha ha ha!!!!! No boozy hen do for you this weekend!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin (did I get that right or am I getting mixed up with someone else?!)
Everything crossed for you that those levels have multiplied frantically by Monday and we can shove you out help you into the 'copter Grin .

OP posts:
KittenOfWoe · 11/07/2014 13:59

Ooooooooooooh brilliant stuff, chloe! Hope it goes from strength to strength!

lumen · 11/07/2014 14:31

Brilliant news chloe, hoping the levels are higher on Monday. Best of luck with the hen do this weekend.

AF finally rocked up last night and is currently causing horrible cramps. But as dh is working night shifts all weekend I am off to visit the folks in wales. Got to break news to my mum which I am not looking forward to but I have a feeling she might have guessed as has been extra nice on the phone and is cooking me my fav dinner tonight (faggots and mash).

In better news we have decided to have a fttc holiday in sept before our next round of IVF, thinking about the Caribbean, anyone been / got suggestions?

Looking forward to a few glasses of wine after my 4 hour drive later Smile

RevoltingPeasant · 11/07/2014 14:59

Chloe - does that mean - ?

When will you know for sure?

Grin really excited for you!
