The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Oh thank God RP!!! I will have a goofy grin plastered on my face for days to come over this one!!! So relieved for you and little Dino!!

barkingtreefrog · 16/06/2014 16:26

Amazing news rp Grin what did they say about the bleeding? How far along are you measuring? I'm assuming you saw a heartbeat? Grin.
How are you feeling now?

rain well done on the bump deflation acceptance, is SiL your brother's wife, or t'other side of the family? I'm awaiting birth news from a friend who is now overdue (she was due before my birthday). I have a horrible feeling they are going to use the boy's name we want (we had a conversation about it ages ago before she was pg), and it's not common so would be weird if we used it as well (because obviously I will have a boy so this will be a problem). This irks because we had a name picked already (we agreed on a boy's name but not a girl's name) but never got to use it last time and I associate the one we lost with that name so I don't want to use it for another baby and was pleased we both found another name we loved (not easy when you're both teachers and most names get a 'Oh god no, I taught a child called x and they were.....' kind of reaction).

It's amazing what petty little things you can find to dwell on when you're trying to avoid stressing about the big stuff

Anyway, home early so I can get some more reports written, NOT so I can procrastinate on MN....

Thanks everyone. I am so blatantly skiving off work today.

They said bleeding just happens. Might be mc, isn't necessarily. If it happens again I need to go back, but yes, as my friend says, ONE heartbeat in the right place! According to the lovely form I got, it is a 'viable intrauterine pregnancy'.

It says everything is there but it says the amniotic sac is not visible. That is okay though, right?

Barking, it will be your turn on Thursday. fx for you, NOT that you will need it.

RevoltingPeasant · 16/06/2014 16:45

Oh and they measured me as 6w6d, whereas I thought I was 7+0, so meh, same difference.

nolly3 · 16/06/2014 16:55

GO DINO BABY!

happylass · 16/06/2014 16:58

Just a quick one to say fantastic news RP. Am delighted for you! Will catch up properly later, work is hellish at the moment Sad.
Oh and AF turned up earlier but I hardly registered it I've been so busy. Another cycle closer to IVF though eh?

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/06/2014 17:11

Great news RP. To the chopper

beakybeak · 16/06/2014 17:15

Woooooooo RP fantastic news about Dino! Am thrilled for you!

Rain tough news to hear but glad you are ok.

Barking is yours Thursday? All berry power to you now. Fx!

Happy what's with the flag by your name?! Sorry the witch got you.

Hope Monday has been a good day for everyone. I found it to be shite but nowt I can about it at least it's time to leave the office ignores bag of work I'm dragging home

happylass · 16/06/2014 17:37

I'm back already. Couldn't face doing more work yet seen as I didn't get in til 5. Beaky Australia are my team in the staff room World Cup sweep. Fortunately there's a prize for last place Grin.
Sorry ladies but I think I need to have a bit of a whine. Just realised that with AF turning up today this cycle was just 24 days. That's too short isn't it? I've always been 26 days, sometimes 25 but had two 24 day cycles in recent months and am worried this is something to do with my rubbish AMH? LP is still good at 13 days but does me OVing on cd11 mean that the egg hasn't had enough time to mature properly and it's rubbish quality? More importantly, as things stand, (assuming my next 2 cycles are 25 days) we can start IVF/ICSI the day after getting back from honeymoon. If either of my cycles are shorter and AF shows up whilst we are away it will mean waiting another cycle before we can start. I know it's less than a months wait but why is everything so bloody difficult! Sorry to be al me, ,e me just having a bad day Sad

barkingtreefrog · 16/06/2014 17:57

Totally understand happy, I don't even know whether our first IUI worked yet, and I'm already wondering how long it will be before we can try again if this isn't going to happen. Keep working out when we will be away at relevant points in a hypothetical cycle....

It's absolutely maddening when your cycle isn't textbook and you don't know whether your cycle indicates a problem or not. I can't offer any advice as all my googling has been on the opposite problem (late Ov, short LP) but if you're throwing money at IVF anyway, have you considered the chasing rainbows lady? You could get advice on everything you can do between now and then to maximise your IVF chances.

beaky yep, me on Thursday. Feeling the pressure now. I was part of the first berry cluster diff (they've all had their babies now) and got left behind. I'm terrified history is going to repeat itself. As an example of how well I'm coping, I asked DH to pick up a tin of mixed beans on the way home. He couldn't find any so bought a tin of kidney beans, some butter beans and some chick peas. Dinner is obviously now ruined and I want to cry. Rational response?! [Hmm] Shock
I was on a course this afternoon and spent the whole time wanting to run to the toilet for a knicker check. After the spotting this morning I was convinced I could feel myself bleeding and I was going to walk out of the room with a massive red stain on my skirt Sad.

rp that is excellent news indeed! Happy days! Grin

happy sorry af had arrived early and you're having a bad day Thanks. It's a bugger when cycles go off kilter when plans are riding on them. Fingers crossed the next couple are slightly longer to compensate - that happens for me quite a bit.

spare have a gentle wang from me but its understandable with the pressures of ttc. Hope you're feeling better today. Yep, the Father's day Facebook traffic was upsetting me too, it's another one of those niggling reminders.

Hey rain has the witch shown up?! Fingers crossed for the ultimate birthday present!

Hang in there barking, sending all the positive vibes to you know!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/06/2014 18:03

Barking has the spotting stopped?

IamKuma · 16/06/2014 18:13

happy - sorry AF got you early, I thought I'd make a rare appearance to answer your questions. As you may remember I also have low AMH and High FSH; I had short cycles too ranging from 23 days to 27 days. My last 6 cycles before IVF were 23, 26, 25, 24, 26, 23 days. I was told by my private FC that this was quite common with low AMH and high FSH but not something to worry about. Regarding eggs maturing, as far as I know early ovulation doesn't make any difference, I don't think you will ovulate if the egg hasn't matured (no scientific backup for this statement currently). My IVF egg collection was on CD8 as one egg had matured really quickly during that time period, it fertilised OK. So, by day 11 I am sure the egg would be mature enough. Just think of it as more opportunities to try and get a BFP and closer to your IVF.

barking I've got everything crossed for you, but I know the feeling of feeling like you might get left behind. With this clusterdiff going on I feel like I will be the negative statistic.

Wonderful news though for all of you who have recently got your bfps and have had positive scan results!

Now, back to my cave Wink

barkingtreefrog · 16/06/2014 18:36

Ooo, hello kuma Grin Don't leave just yet!
merk yes, spotting has stopped again, but cm is now coloured and causes suspicion every knicker check.... Hmm

OP posts:
RevoltingPeasant · 16/06/2014 18:48

Bushy how are you?

Barking what colour was spotting?

happy my cycle varied from 24-31 days so it may not mean anything. Though interestingly it seemed to alternate short/ long/ short/ long and I got diffed on a longer cycle. Remind me, are you on acu?

barkingtreefrog · 16/06/2014 18:51

rp bright red, then brown.
Are you feeling all OK now?

OP posts:
chloechloe · 16/06/2014 18:51

Yay!!! Go dino!!! Fantastic news, have a big smile on my face!

happy Sorry the witch got you. I don't think you need to worry about your short cycles, as surely the IVF will fix that. From what I understood from my cycle, they give you FSH/LSH to make your follies grow, but also another injection that stops you ovulating too soon. Then when the follies are big enough you take your trigger shot to induce ovulation. I totally understand how you feel about having to wait another cycle though. I am not doing well in the waiting game at the moment!

WildflowerMarmalade · 16/06/2014 18:58

Hurray for rp and the Dino baby. I'm thrilled at that news, I have been thinking of you all day and hoping for good news.

tigerdog · 16/06/2014 20:37

Is anybody watching tigers in the house?! I want a baby tiger!

beakybeak · 16/06/2014 20:43

Happy I always ovulate quite early, earliest being cd8. My cycles range from 21-26 days. What Kuma says makes sense about not releasing an egg if it's early but as others have said IVF works so that they suppress ovulation until the eggs are mature. I asked at my iui appointment about it and she said it was fine they would scan me earlier to keep an eye on it. She didn't seem worried about early ov at all. Fx you get a couple of longer cycles next time so you can get on with IVF straight after honeymoon Grin

How's everything going with you kuma

Spare yep I got that with fb yesterday, I have started really limiting my time on there as it's depressing. Gentle wang since you requested one!

Ahh barking sometimes we can't help the reasonableness eh! Crossing everything for your turn on Thursday, I hope it comes round quickly for you.

Have you teacher berries got long left til summer then? I've decided to enrol on a course come September, it's only 1 evening per week and one academic year, I'm really looking forward to it already. I don't know how much longer I can go on getting shouted at everyday so hopefully it will be a newish direction.

How's everyone else tonight?

Bunnygirlie · 16/06/2014 21:08

Just logged on with baited breath... RP I am just thrilled for you! made me Grin

Berry power for barking next x

RevoltingPeasant · 16/06/2014 21:12

Barking yes feeling good. Mostly just shakily relieved. I did nooooo work today but it is really dreadful as I keep having days where I give myself permission to slack off and I really don't have room to.

If the red blood has stopped and given way to brown I think that is a good sign. Man, you are owed one by now. Thursday will be your day!

Tiger, on reflection I think you prob did the right thing with the job. If you were that unsure beforehand it might actually have made things worse to be in a position where you were offered it, as you'd be turning down a real thing instead of a potential thing iyswim. Higher stakes. And you will get diffed and appreciate that family friendly job!

greatbigbushybeard · 16/06/2014 21:23

First of all massive yay for rp and Dino baby!!! Great stuff!! I'm ok, still got faint spotting, feel v tired and hungry today, might have to start packing more food in my lunchbox!!

beaky what job do you do that you get shouted at all day? We have 5 weeks left at school.

happy I like how you put your sweepstake country by your name, how did you manage that? Mine is Mexico. Watching the Iran Nigeria match and boy is it boring!! Think it's time to wash up and have a shower soon!!

spare that would piss me off about Facebook too! Glad I'm not on it when people say stuff like that.

barking remember spotting doesn't mean it's over. We will be cheering you on this Thursday.

tigerdog · 16/06/2014 21:27

rp don't be too hard on yourself about work. I'm still so happy and relieved for you.

I do think I made the right decision, there were things about the job that really weren't right. I was awake all night thinking about it. Instead i am finding some fun stuff to do. I have just signed up to a contemporary choir Grin for the autumn session.

beaky I think I might also sign up to a course, more distractions and personal development needed here! Is yours relevant to your work? Once my lap incisions have healed I'll also get back to yoga, I think the month away from it has done me no good whatsoever.
