The Berries: On knockerwatch, sniffing willies and clinging to the coat tails of the continued clusterdiff (thread 21)

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Ooh sparkly new thread, let's hope the clusterdiff continues over here!

Can somebody please add me to the list, can't do it from the ipad.

chloechloe, 35, TTC since Aug 2012, Me PCOS, DH slightly low motility. IVF ICSI #1 started May.

Have lost track with all the goings on since the end of the last thread but promise to be a better berry from here on!

Just spent the evening trying to rescue a baby kestrel with not much luck. He's left the nest but can't fly well enough to get back in and his parents seems to have abandoned him. We can't catch him as he's perched on the edge of the roof 3 storeys up. Have left some food and a njce warm box on the roof for him. Hope he survives the night as it's getting cold. Sob.

EC at 8:30 tomorrow!

beakybeak · 30/05/2014 21:18

Batking (hehe) and Rain I haven't done acu before due to cash flow but I think I'm going to try it. It definitely can't hurt. I'm going to try and chill still desperately consulting dr google re intermittent bleeding for the minute to see what happens with the next couple of weeks and next AF. I think if I focus on being healthy and "me time" it might help yeah right anyway Barking I can you hold out til Sunday so you and dh can be together when you poas and then should you need to do the next one the following day? I have literally everything crossed for you. I have read that some people can implant really late...

Rain yep, said a similar thing last night due to the cb peak! Sooo romantic Hmm anyway hope you are better soon.

Lumen hopefully he will, ahem, pull it out of the bag when he needs too Grin

My copy of Honestly Healthy has arrived! Going to read through and do a shopping list! Such an exciting Saturday night. Will add you to the list when I get on laptop Pip unless someone does it first Smile

lumen · 30/05/2014 21:18

Ooh chloe have been wondering how you are getting on. Hope EC goes well in the morning, will be thinking of you.

Hope the baby kestrel survives

beakybeak · 30/05/2014 21:21

X post chloe good luck for EC tomorrow, let us know how you get on. Aww the poor kestrel, hope it is ok!

Bunnygirlie · 30/05/2014 21:25

chloe good luck for EC tomorrow, it's a funny experience but fascinating at the same time!

nolly3 · 30/05/2014 21:40

good luck chloe for.tomorrow! Ps you autocorrect to chlorine, did you know?

you too batking whatever you decide

barkingtreefrog · 30/05/2014 21:49

beaky dh's plans changed, he's with me now so he'd be there tomorrow. I did pack the test... But I forgot my pot and I wanted to pimp rather than poas so that I know it's had a good soak.... Blush
The acupuncture brought back my cycles post mc, it's not cheap if you have to keep going though. If this hasn't worked I'm giving everything a break, acupuncture included. I know it's supposed to be a long term thing to be most effective but I just need to ditch everything ttc related for a while.

Good luck tomorrow chloe Smile

lumen DH had to do it at the hospital both times. He said there was a sign up when he went in for the IUI saying to ring the bell if the jizz missed the pot as the sample was needed and a nurse would come in and scoop it up!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

chloe best of luck for tomorrow and well done for trying to help the kestrel. Hopefully its parents were just watching from a safe distance and will help it out when all is quiet, at the very least you've done the best you could to help, so lots of good karma on your side for tomorrow Smile

batty (ok, maybe this is taking it too far...) I double dare you to rummage in the kitchen after lights out for a pot to piss in. Triple dare.
Really hoping to hear some good news for you tomorrow.

beaky nothing ventured and all that. My cycles are pretty regular but I am in limbo until FC in July and therefore prepared to clutch at straws try anything once. Do you know anyone in your area who could refer you to a good one?

I've promised MrP a 'proper' shag tonight to make up for last nights half assed efforts, but I'm so tired! Time for a Brew I think...

beakybeak · 30/05/2014 22:37

Barking can you use a lid from something in your washbag? Washed first, obv! Good luck, I'll be checking in to see how you get on. Everything crossed for you.

Rain I laughed so much at Batty! Loved it Grin all the best with your proper shagging whilst ill! Sad I don't know anyone ttc in my area, literally all my friends and family of childbearing age have kids. Also I've not told anyone except you guys. And dh, obv. Grin I'm going to do some googling, again, obviously. Too many obvs.

Bunnygirlie · 30/05/2014 23:09

Good luck if you pimp in something you can find batking

Weirdest thing you've pimped in? Mine was on a weekend away, used one of those tiny milk cartons you get!

HampshireBlues · 30/05/2014 23:24

Good luck for EC tomorrow Chloe and fingers well and truly crossed for you Barking

greatbigbushybeard · 30/05/2014 23:27

Love the ingenuity of finding something to pee in!

Well I have shed a bit of light onto the oddness of dh. It turns out he thought Monday was a blood test and not an actual scan-duh!! Anyway now he's realised what it is he's totally on board.

Good luck tomorrow chloe. It's a really exciting time, remember no makeup or deo as it's an op. And have lots of crap telly you can watch after and let dh treat you like a queen after! Hope the kestrel is ok.

RosieintheAlps · 30/05/2014 23:42

Good luck for tomorrow chloe!

happylass · 30/05/2014 23:51

Good luck for tomorrow Chloe. Keeping everything crossed for you.

I once pimped in the top of DPs deodorant bottle when we were away from home. Needs must ladies!

BoodleDoo · 31/05/2014 01:15

Sorry ladies, I haven't read back properly at all but just wanted to say to Beaky that yes, we should definitely add that advert to the list!

Gillster · 31/05/2014 05:32

Good luck Chloe, hoping for an excellent haul of good quality eggs for you. Do you know for definite whether you will freeze the embies first?

tigerdog · 31/05/2014 06:38

Hope it goes well today chloe! How's the baby kestrel? Poor little critter.

Barking also have my fingers crossed for you!

beaky I made the veg layer bake from the hh book this week, it was very nice, reckon it'll become a staple in our house. Also been making the nutty granola - decent gf cereals are hard to come by.

FeatherFeather11 · 31/05/2014 07:18

Good luck today chloe! Hope Kes makes it, poor little guy.

And to you barking - whatever choice you make on the testing front. Sending you all the good vibes I have. That's for the new home btw - and the fabulous list!

rain I can't seem to pm you. Want to pm first and I will reply? If anyone else in interested send me a message and I'll send you my acu-lady's details.

bushy guys, eh?! So pleased your oh is now in board!

bunny I pimped in an empty beer can at Glastonbury. In my tent. face palm It was a little messy and my aim off.

I'm still in denial over here. Convinced it's all going to go the way the last one did. Did a cbdigi and a FRER and the line was stronger on FRER and cbdigi confirmed it, saying that I was 1-2weeks. So really early days. My lower back is killing me and I'm convinced...well, you all know what I mean.

My hen is today. Saw my best woman last night and she's so excited. I am too, but couldn't bring myself to tell her. I quite like it being me and OH's secret. Think I am going to have a glass of something and then move on to soft drinks that look like gin & tonics/ vodkas/ etc. we'll see. I usually do tend to get stuck in so my friends will sniff me out if I go for an alcohol free beer!

RosieintheAlps · 31/05/2014 07:35

Feather, enjoy your hen do. I hope you'll have a great time and it will take your mind off, at least for today. Your anxiety is completely understandable in the circumstances. We are all sending positive vibes that this is a healthy and enjoyable pregnancy.

Barking, good luck whatever you decide to do today.

Bushy, glad you got to the bottom of OH's reluctance and glad he is now going to be with you on Monday.

Have a good weekend all. We are supposed to go for a run in an hour or so. Will see if DP can be roused (hopefully in more senses than one Smile )

TheRainDrops · 31/05/2014 08:30

Loving the pimp stories!! I pimped in a shot glass after someone's big house party, not that interesting! I love the milk pot one and feathers camping disaster Grin
feather on my phone now but will pm you shortly, thanks! Sounds like a good plan on the drinking front, although maybe set down an enforcement on no shots from the second you arrive as its really hard to get out of that with everyone looking at you (as they tend to do when shots are involved). Try not to worry too much - you ARE pregnant and I will bet my left tit it's in the right place this time.

bushy oh what a bellend!! Grin I hope you told him as much! No wonder he wasn't enthused, I bet he feels silky now.

braky are any berries in your area who might be able to recommend someone?

Positivity vibes to all that need then today...

TheRainDrops · 31/05/2014 08:32

*silly, not silky! Although he might feel that too Grin

FeatherFeather11 · 31/05/2014 08:58

"Bet my left tit..." Just spat tea at my phone, rain - and thanks for reassuring words - promise to be less needy soon! On the shots - I have a no shot rule anyway! Not great with alcohol and my mates all know I'm likely to projectile vomit at the first sambucca or tequila!

Sun is shining, birds are tweeting, and it's the weekend. See you all on the other side!

beakybeak · 31/05/2014 09:15

Enjoy Feather back ache is a normal symptom too!

Rain are you feeling any better?

Batking have you poas yet?

Rosie hope the er, rousing goes well Grin

Tiger I'll definitely be trying the granola! Do you have it with milk or yoghurt?

Very heavy bleeding today and overnight, so after googling like a mad person I'm wondering if it's maybe an anovultory cycle. Has anyone heard of estrogen breakthrough bleeding?

tigerdog · 31/05/2014 12:10

I have it with almond milk beaky which I've got to quite like these days!

rain you do crack me up!

rosie hope you enjoyed your run and any other activities Wink

Enjoy feather!
