Thanks for all your good luck wishes ladies. All went well, 20 eggs retrieved. 12 will be ICSIed and the rest IVF. We didn't even have a discussion about whether to freeze or not - the dr wouldn't even contemplate doing a fresh cycle.

Had a different dr today with the EC falling on the wkend which was a bit annoying. He said we should wait 2 cycles before doing the FET as we are going away end of June. But my dr said we could do it any time after the holiday - I'm guessing because I don't ovulate I don't have to time it with that. Anyway was totally confused having the conversation right after the sedation with a new dr who didn't know my file. I think I will make an appt to go and see my dr next week.

Finally a baby kestrel update. He survived the night but is still sitting on the roof all alone and crying a lot

20 eggs. That's loads! How many were mature?

The 20 are the mature ones. I have PCO though so they were expecting a lot even though they kept the FSH low. Fx the quality is OK and a decent amount fertilise tomorrow.

Wow chloe that's loads! Is definitely try and see your dr since you had a different one, you don't want to end up with a massive delay for no reason. Well done though

Loving the pimping conversation but cannot contribute. So far, have only had one attempt at poas on pg test and quite a few ov tests but never pimped.

No activities other than running . I ordered some pre-seed since feather seems a staunch advocate of it and want to try it out so will have to get the allure out tonight and maybe allow DP a pint or so. He's been trying to be good and not drinking much. The good news is I survived the run! My first 5k run ever. I quite like exercise but due to asthma had never tried running before so I am well chuffed I survived. Also just tried out recipe from the HH cookbook. Still in the oven so cannot give judgment yet. I do wish, though, they had added the prep time/ cooking time to the recipes. So am trying to have very healthy weekend.

Oh crap I think I have mild OHSS. My chest feels tight and my abdomen is bloated, am 1 inch fatter than this morning. According to Dr Google it doesn't seem like I need to start worrying yet - am passing lots of fluids and my weight hasn't increased massively.

There are lots of horror stories on the internet though, especially in the US - I can't believe some people are stimmed to the extent that they have 40 or 50 eggs, totally crazy!

Well done on your run rosie, especially with your asthma. I really need to look into getting this HH book everyone is talking about!

On a good note, 3 more baby falcons have flown the nest. They are all a bit clumsy and just seem to need a bit of time to find their wings and get their confidence up! Am trying not to get jealous that the parent falcons get updiffed all the time, its only a few months since they had the last 2! Another one for the list along with the Travelodge advert!

Just made a tapas type meal but muddling up Greek / italian and Spanish dishes. I love Mediterranean food . Enjoying a cheeky glass of vino too!

Tiger your dinner sounds gorgeous. I love Mediterranean food too. I speak French, Italian and Spanish and have spent loads of time in the Med. Really feel like that's where I should have been born!

I had OHSS first time. I had tablets for it but it wiped me out. I remember having a shower and the heat made me too weak to stand. I was nearly passing out. I was very bloated. I looked about 6 months pg.
The clinic should have given you an emergency number. Give them a call if you are worried.

Wow chloe what a lot of eggs. Hope you are feeling ok. I felt v bloated for a good few days afterward. When I went back for et they said to me that my ovaries were swollen so I would still feel bloated for a few more days after too. Make sure you have lots of fluids and take it easy but a little walk may help. Glad the little kestrel is alright and don't worry you're not mental being jealous of the parents... I was jealous of a cat and kittens recently!! Lol!

I must be allergic to gardening, did some potting and tidying up, felt a few twinges and went to loo later and have got a bit of brown spotting. The first time I spotted after my bfp was after gardening and that turned into the mother Hubbard bleed. So now taking it easy, just had v unhealthy tea of fish and chips and a magnum!

Phew, what a hectic day. Now back home and in bed early, having packed DH off to a party neither of us wanted to go to so he could show his face on behalf of both of us . Saturday night rock n roll.

I pimped this morning, found a plastic cup in the campervan... The worst thing I've pimped in was my MiL's toothbrush holder . I was desperate, we were flying out on holiday the next day and I needed to know if I was about to Ov as it was our first clomid cycle!

Well, still in limbo. If I stand on my head, tilt the stick 45 degrees to the sun and screw my eyes up there might be a very very faint line. I showed DH this evening when we got home. He wasn't convinced at all. So I'm still clutching on to the arms of those getting ready for the chopper and not ruling myself out of the running for joining the cluster diff, but there's nothing to celebrate yet. More waiting. Do I pimp again tomorrow or just wait until Monday? Or just wait until the blood test results Monday afternoon?

Nice haul Chloe, hope you're feeling more comfortable soon. Don't hesitate to call the emergency number if you feel the least bit inclined to, better to have a conversation with someone than stress about what might be happening.

Beaky I'm so sorry that you are having problems with the random bleeding. Maybe visit your GP if the FC aren't being helpful .Cervical erosion perhaps? I haven't heard of oestrogen breakthrough bleeding, but am about to consult Dr Google.

Rosie I also use preseed. I have used it for over a year and have got pregnant twice when using it. Interchange between that and conceive plus, but going to stick with preseed now after using conceive plus for the last 2 cycles and realising it actually smells a little like fish, which is absolutely not what I want. It's one thing having an infertile fanny, but a fishy fanny as well is just a step too far.

I've researched acupuncture in my area and found two people I'm going to ring for an initial chat too. I will definitely be keeping away from conceive plus - no fishy infertile fanny please!

I am a moron! Just made a gluten free carrot cake, put it in the oven and realised I have forgotten to add buttermilk. Stupid cookbook muddles the ingredients for the topping and the cake and stupid me didn't spot the buttermilk at the bottom of the list! The mixture seemed perfectly normal but no doubt it'll come out like a dry old rock.

That'll teach me - should be taking my lazy ass to yoga and not baking first thing in the morning whilst oh is at the gym. Having an 'I can't do anything right' couple of days.
