All sitting in the egg box back at the coop incubating! Will hear how they get on overnight then the 2 prize eggs will be shoved up my hen house either tomorrow, thurs or sat. If all goes well...

Stubborn you don't want to know my age gaps of we are lucky enough to have a sticky bean sometime soon! I must be mental!

Annie that does sound very promising. How are you finding the process so far? Xx how long have you got to wait now? X

"Hen house"? I've never heard it called that before! Grin. If you get some extra promising looking ones, will they freeze them?

Go on tranquility, how old are your kids, you glutton for punishment?

And how old is your DD ghost?

Hi stubborn. My d.d IS 15, she turns 16 early next year, so there'll be at least a 16 year age gap. She'll be like another mum.

Tranquilitybaby · 07/10/2014 22:43

Ok ghost you win! My dd is 12 and DS is 9, so 13 and 10 year age gaps!

hexy congrdtulations!

stubborn, how you feeling?

The mw apt was fine, felt like they'd all be pointing & chanting fraud under their breath. Also kept having the urge to laugh uncontrollably, this bean is making me a weirdo!

Update from the coop is that all six divided and are 4 cell embryos. There are 3 good ones so transfer will be tomorrow when the "2 best chickens will return to the hen house".

Hope you're doing well ginger xxx

I've been fine, bit twitchy now actually as we're going to a big charity ball this weekend. Going in a limo with friends so they'll be drink in there, plus lots of drink whilst there. It'll be too early to test on Friday though. Monday is the earliest really but I'd like to know before. Aargh. Don't really feel any different though tbh and having had the mc on 16/9, I don't even know what my body is doing right now anyway. Thanks for asking x

I'd just enjoy yourself. If you are preg the foetus is reliant on supplies in egg & hormones from ovary not placenta so nothing you will do matters much. Sounds like a lovely evening, lucky you!

Yes, "drink until you see pink"! (the pink being a pink line on a HPT).

Good luck for tomorrow annie.....xx

Yes, you really ARE pregnant ginger! Are you still going to go for an early scan?

So, great big kids ghost and tranquility....= ready made babysitters, no? Smile

I am still feeling rough.....that feeling of general malaise you get on a boat in rough weather, about 5 minutes before you actually feel sick....plus extreme exhaustion, blah. 6 weeks tomorrow- time is drrrraaaaaaggggginnnnggggg....DP came round last night, and we had to keep stopping ourselves making plans- nothing until the 12 week scan. I had a dream last night that I was in an exciting station full of big TGV-type trains on their way to nice places in France, but couldn't find a departures board or a timetable....I want to be properly on the train!!

You know, we're going to have to start thinking of titles for the new thread- and PDQ too!

Ah yes I'll have a good time I'm sure, was really looking forward to it, except my dress is being altered and it's still not ready yet, eek! Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow. Xx

Sorry you're feeling rough Stubborn, but sounds like your hormone levels are ramping up so it's all good! X

Best of luck Tmro Annie. Fabulous egg collection x

Aha, I trump you all with kids age gaps. Step son, who lives with us, will be 18 & in middle of his A levels when I have this bean (he's going to go bloody mental when he finds out, like we purposely chose to have a sprog then to mess him up). Plus I have a 4.5 year old too.

Sounds like I'm 5 days behind u Stubborn. Agree time feels like it is dragging, just want it to be start of December now :)

Aww Annie, what an exciting, if slightly nerve jangling time. Keep busy.

I can't set my mind on anything today, just want to know now but know there's no point in worrying about it until Monday at least x what will be will be.

I can't believe how fast it seems you are all progressing with pregnancy and ginger you're 8 weeks already! Are you getting an early scan? Are you feeling different this time?

We have another 2 embryos back in the lab with potential. They are going to keep an eye on them over the next few days and let us know if any are viable to be frozen.

Not painful at all just like a full bladder ultrasound but with speculum. It's been totally painless and easy. Wish i'd done it sooner and would definitely do it again if it doesn't work this time.

I can't wait to get home to see my doggy after 2 weeks! He'll go bonkers.Smile

Wow, you've been away for 2 weeks! I was wondering how you'd got on with commute etc. I'm so pleased it's been such a smooth process for you. That's brilliant, so with 2 in a slim chance of twins then? How amazing (terrifying) would that be.

I bet you can't wait to see your pooch, he will be beside himself with excitement. Reassurance scan booked for mon, my main concern now is mmc as they seem relatively common. From my end it feels like it's going soooo slowly! Mon will make all the diff I think to my mindset, still not excited or told our families (except my sister).

Well done annie. Fingers crossed. Have u been to the Fertility Fighters website? A few years ago a friend was on there a lot as she went thru IVF (now a mum of 2, separate pregnancies, from same egg collection). Dunno if it's still going...

This is sooooooooo exciting x

I'm 5+2 ginger
