Aw Tranquillity. It's draining at the best of times.

AF this morning. 4 days late. Bah.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 17/09/2014 08:46

Sorry tranquility, you have hard such a hard time with ttc. I'd call the epu as my last mc at 5.5 wks wasn't painful at all, unless you usually haven painful periods. At this stage it really shouldn't be painful other than normal AF pains. Sending you hugs x

Hope your taking care of yourself tranquility ThanksThanks
My TTC journey has been eventful this weekend, started with tummy pains on Friday, needed my appendix out on Saturday!!
Just tested using my cbfm and got an egg!! Thought I wouldn't this month
So now we have to decide whether to Dtd tonight (am still very sore) or leave it this month!
I wanted to get a BFP before my due date in November Sad

Gingerbreadlady1 · 17/09/2014 09:47

Bloody hell tilly you are hardcore. Hope you're well on the mend, it's your decision but surely your own health should come first. Please take care of yourself.

Hello, I do get very painful period pains really because I have endo, although they've been better since the ectopic surgery as they removed some of the endo plaques.

I'll see how I go today, just dull cramping now.

We're lucky really, we have two beautiful children. Maybe someone's trying to tell us something. Just don't know what to do from now on.

Tilly I'd think carefully about TTC straight after surgery as you'll have internal stitches that need to heal. Best to get some advice from your doctor x

BingoBonkers · 17/09/2014 23:36

Gingerbreadlady1 · 18/09/2014 10:32

Hi ginger!
I'm good thanks. Had my scan on Monday all good. Came out with a handbag full of needles. Feels exciting to finally be starting IVF treatment but this referendum is no good for my stress levels!!!Smile

AnnieHoo · 18/09/2014 14:52

Hope you're ok tranquility xx

stubbornstains · 18/09/2014 19:07

Hello, how are you feeling today tranquility?

So glad that your scan was good annie- hurrah!

Well, we now have a referral to the fertility clinic- whoopee! No idea how long the waiting list is going to be.....not too bad hopefully. "Maybe you'll get pregnant before your appointment" said the GP with a smile- well, hopefully, eh?

So, I have managed to avoid symptom spotting for several months, and sadly I'm right back on it this month....it's such a headfuck. 6DPO and I felt so ridiculously hot all day yesterday, and today to some extent....loads of creamy CM today, and I was on the verge of tears in a cafe today over....guess what Scottish birds? All the referendum reporting! I hope you get the result you want, is all I can say. don't go, don't leave us alone with these lunatics, waaaah, blub

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 18/09/2014 20:24

Hi Tranq. Hope you're okay.
Glad your scan went well, Annie.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 18/09/2014 20:24

How are you Gingerbread and how is your furbaby.

Tranquilitybaby · 18/09/2014 20:38

Hi girls, I'm ok, sure it'll hit me at some point, but so far I've coped pretty well, as barely had a chance to take it in really before it all started going wrong.

We're trying to keep positive and think that third time will be lucky. Can we start TTC again once the bleeding stops (it's tailed off a hot now) x

Tranquilitybaby · 18/09/2014 20:39

Glad your scan went well annie all systems go for you.

stubborn try to just keep busy and hopefully all will be good x

Gingerbreadlady1 · 18/09/2014 22:00

stubborn, annie, I'm freaking out about the bloody referendum too.kept tearing up at the voting station. annie is this you starting the drugs to get the eggies ready? stubborn did they give you an idea of waiting time?

ghost my wee boys getting big! How's things with you?

tranquility, yes, you'll be fine, given how quickly after AF due you started bleeding its most likely a chem so yes you can keep on keeping on.

OP posts:
AnnieHoo · 18/09/2014 23:50

Great that you've been referred stubborn Smile. Hope it's not long to wait. That's for wanting us to stay!! I hope we do with all my heart (and head) SmileThanks

ginger it's a huge day. I was crying yesterday about it all. Things will never be the same in Scotland again.

I'm so glad you're doing well, are you feeling different this time? and good to hear your boy is getting big!! Ahhh .
Yes I'm down-regulating with injections this week to put me into pseudo menopause. Then next week I should start stimulating at same time and then scan to see how eggs are doing. Yikes.

tranquility I hope you're ok and not too stressed about all this and upset. I know how low it can make you feel. Be kind to yourself xxx

Hope everyone in 2ww is coping and those who are poas. X

Gingerbreadlady1 · 19/09/2014 13:05

How exciting annie, how do you feel? Symptoms?

I breathed a huge sigh of relief this morning. Thank god!

As for me, sore boobs & had crampy sensations however they seem to have stopped. No idea if still preg or not tbh, 2 weeks ti I can go for an early scan.

OP posts:
AnnieHoo · 19/09/2014 18:46

Hi ginger have the sore boobs stopped or is it just the cramps that have stopped? Can you get an HCG test at GP?

I'm feeling fine so far. Enjoying being alcohol free! Start stimms on Sunday then scan on Thursday. Also spoke to my NHS ob/gyn and he said it was ok for us to have a private cycle while we wait for NHS cycle so that's good. My NHS appt was moved to mid Nov so I'm glad we bit the bullet and forked out.

Massive relief this morning.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 19/09/2014 21:46

Hey annie, boobs still sore but cramps stopped. Going to do clear blue digi tomorrow, if it shows 3+ weeks (5+2) tomorrow then I'll feel happier as on mon it said 2-3weeks.

That's excellent you've still got nhs shots as back up. We were the same, massively relieved once we'd decided just to bite the bullet & go for a private round. Keeping everything crossed got you, must be very exciting to actually be starting!

AnnieHoo · 20/09/2014 12:11

Gingerbreadlady1 · 20/09/2014 13:14

Test this morning said 3+ so we'll see. Hope everyone is doing okay x

Just logged on to check on your progress ginger....OK, that sounds great. IIRC, I didn't get cramps at all in any of my pregnancies.....
