5 weeks today for me. 1 week of the 8ww down, 7 to go. All is fine, although 2 days ago I did have some very light brown spotting for 24 hours. Obviously, I took it in my stride who am I kidding I was climbing the walls.It's stopped now, so I'm sure it was just implantation spotting.

It's your scan tomorrow, isn't it annie? Good luck- are you hoping to see lots of fat follicles?

How are you, ginger? All going well? Are you going to have your early scan soon?

And inshock? It must be nearly time for your 12w scan?

I'm fine thanks, now Stubborn. Indeed will have to keep an eye out though.
Wow 5 weeks already. It'll be time before you know it. I had a bleed when having my d.d. It frightens the life out of you doesn't it, but thankfully it was just an implantation bleed.
How's everyone else doing.

Hello sorry went a bit AWOL. We've started TTC again straight away after my mc 2.5 weeks ago, not sure how I work out dates etc though.

I got EWCM 10 days from first day of bleeding so we BD most days since, not sure if we should've really but too late now. I have no tests in the house and don't plan on buying one until 10 OCT at the absolute earliest, later if I can wait x

I am feeling rough! Have come upstairs to have a lie down....just exhausted. Ho hum, I guess it's reassuring, symptoms- wise.....I am precisely 2 weeks behind you ginger, I'm 5+1 today.......I wonder if anybody will be 2 weeks behind me? (looks at tranquility meaningfully). I was reading a thread the other day about conceiving v. quickly after a MC; apparently it's pretty common....

stubborn we've tried our best and I would absolutely love to be 2 weeks behind you with a little keeper this time! we'll see x

Feeling rough is good! Get lots of rest and eat well xx

Oh my Lord... As a long time lurker I came to check on this thread only to find a few of you are now up the duff! Huge congrats. A little about me, I'm 42, mum to 4 year old, been desperate for another bean since an early m/c 3 years ago. Hubby finally agreed to ttc 5 months ago, but we thought my long standing serious health issues could complicate things. That was before I missed this period and got a bfp on a digital pg test this morning (2-3 weeks). So, can I join you old birds as I fret myself into a frenzy about my chances of another m/c? x

All good here - scan went well thanks a good number of follicles have grown, I've got my trigger shot tonight and egg collection on Monday morning - eek.

Ginger - great to hear you've got nausea and I mean that is be best possible way!! Hope you get an early scan on Monday xxx

Waaah.....ANOTHER BFP! Congratulations and welcome hexy! I know, the 8 week wait (from BFP to 12 week scan) is the scariest thing in the world, isn't it? I, for one, am going to be posting regularly on here until then, because there's no knowing, is there? I thought I was going to go mad a few days ago, but have now developed a couple of strategies:

1. Today I am pregnant
2. Breaking the wait up into 2 week chunks. 1st target- the 6 week mark. Then the 8 week mark, when I will announce myself to my trusty GP and get the midwives' details. Then the 10 week mark, which should be around my booking appt. Then 12 weeks, which is the scan......

Hurrah for your follicles annie! Hope the egg collection isn't too hurty...x

Oh, and ginger posted some wise words on the 8ww upthread, too...

Hexy I totally missed the part about your BFP this morning!!! Congratulations!!!

In case anyone is interested, I used the Clearblue duel hormone POAS ovulation predictor test for the last 3 cycles, having had poor results with the cheaply ones which told me late when I was ovulating. Add that to temp & EWM charting & it became clear I ovulate early in my cycle, day 10-12.

This pg, I did one of those digital readout pg test. I went back to check I wasn't dreaming being up the duff, only to discover the bloody readout goes after 24 hours. Queue frantic search for cheap & cheerful POAS pg test, which I can keep checking!

I've just had to chuck my pee stick away, as DS discovered it: "What's this, Mummy?" "Erm.....it's a special kind of pen ". "Can I do some writing with it then?" "Er, sorry, it's broken, um....oh look, let's make something with Lego...". I did have a last fond look at the nice clear line that I got 10 days ago!

Yes, GL Annie! (can't shake the image of the consultant with a nice basket of chicken-type eggs over his arm!).

I'm on C.D 11 got a load of EWCM earlier on. I surprised d.p by going to his and we dtd this afternoon. Could probably do that every Sunday afternoon.

I'm on CD21 here so another week to wait yet. Just trying to be relaxed about it all this time, no tests in the house and not testing early after the heartbreak of last month. If it's meant to be it's meant to be x

My little boy is 4.5, ghost. I would have preferred a smaller gap, but TBH, if this bean sticks I'll be grateful to have a second child with any kind of gap! I have a friend who has a 9 year gap between daughters, and they seem very happy.....How old is your DD?

8 eggs collected in the basket stubborn. I'm a good layer. I tried not to lay them in the long grass like an old hen I once had. Phone call this morning confirmed 6 fertilised, 1 fertilised abnormally and 1 was an abnormal egg. Still early days x

All helpfully in the nestbox at the back of the coop then?! . ROFL at "good layer". 8 collected and 6 fertilised- I'm not an expert, but that's pretty good for a so-called "old bird", no? Hurrah, congratulations! Grow little, erm blastocysts (is that the right term?), grow! xxx
