Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

lpl · 24/10/2006 14:04

Hi hope you don't mind me joining the thread near to the end of the month! AF due this Fri/Sat but this morning I noticed some light spotting. Thought it had stopped but it is still there this afternoon. DH and I are kind of ttc ie, not taking precautions but not necessarily bding at ov. I haven't taken the pill since May and I haven't had any spotting before. Do you think it could be implantation bleed? I have an ebay pg test at home which is a sensitive one but not sure whether it is too early to test? Any advice would be appreciated

cityangel · 24/10/2006 17:04

The spotting could be an implantation bleed. I read that they usually happen 7 - 10 days after OV but if you go online there are many different timescales given. It could be AF early and if so you don't want to waste you test too early. I think it is generally recommended to test from AF due date, but of course you could get an positive earlier. Good luck

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 24/10/2006 18:55

Got BFP!!!!!

Overwhelmed, excited and as nervous as hell.

Spreading the 'positive' stuff to you all
x

Hi Ladies

Thanks for all your congratulations - received with much appreciation. Have started a July 07 thread in ante-natal clubs so hope to welcome you all to it (Chocolate Peanut - come on over and join us - 2 of us there already!).

We consider ourselves very lucky (although DH is a tad disappointed needless to say not to have had more opportunity for some 'dance practice'!). For us, each time we have conceived it has simply been about the old feet up the wall trick for as long as possible afterwards. My 'bits' are tilted slightly backwards (apparently !) so need to encourage long distance swimming - also put a pillow under bum at appropriate moment (sorry if this is TMI!).

Sending you all lots of babydust for even more Summer 07 babies.

Babymad2DS · 24/10/2006 20:23

Congratulations to the BFP'S! good luck and well done!

sideways · 24/10/2006 20:25

Congratulations chocolatepeanut and RH

sideways · 24/10/2006 20:26

Congratulations chocolatepeanut and RH

cityangel · 24/10/2006 23:43

Congratulations to Chocolatepeanut. I am really happy for you and RH What a lucky end of October. So Sideways and lpl is it just us left?
Lets hope some of their babdust comes our way

I think the tip with the pillow is a good one. I tried it this month... here's hoping.

abgirl · 25/10/2006 08:23

Hi

Can I join you? I know it's quite late on in the month but have only just found this message. AF due on Friday so keeping fingers crossed at the moment...

First month of properly ttc, got pregnant in first month of trying last time so here's hoping!!

lpl · 25/10/2006 09:17

Morning - stupidly did a pg test last night and got a BFN. I knew it was a bit early to test and that I should have at least waited to do test on a morning but couldn't help myself. Deep down I knew what the result would be but was still gutted when I saw only one line. Never mind will have to put more effort in next month

lpl · 25/10/2006 09:19

Sorry forgot to say a massive congratulations to chocolatepeanut and RH!

endlesslove · 25/10/2006 13:43

Hi I am still around. I am floating between October and November as I am somewhere around a 28-34 day cycle. I did ovulate a couple of days earlier this month so am anticipating that I'll find out if I have my BFP by end of this month. But our bodies seem to make fun out of us sometimes and change their minds!

So I am on CD23 and am hoping and wishing that I am BFP.

Congrats to Peanuts and RH - wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy.

Who is left and what stage you up to?

Baby dust to us all.xx

Babymad2DS · 26/10/2006 01:40

Anyone testing this week? Best of luck!

abgirl · 26/10/2006 09:06

Well, seems like all the baby dust is working as tested this morning and got BFP!! Am totally thrilled, but also nervous....had DS 11 weeks early after developing pre-eclampsia so would love pregnancy to last a little longer this time.

Babydust to everyone who's still got to test!!

abgirl

cityangel · 26/10/2006 09:53

Well done abgirl You are obviously a very fertile bunny both first months! Did you have any early signs? Tell us you secret...

I got a lower temperature today which also lowered my mood as it almost certainly means AF soon. I don't think I OVd last month given my erratic temperatures which is a worry.

MrsMcJnr · 26/10/2006 10:32

Congratulations Abgirl!

abgirl · 26/10/2006 10:41

Thanks for your congratulations.

Both times spent couple of months before TTCing off the pill, generally being healthy, eating well and getting lots of exercise, and then when TTC BD every other day as soon as AF ends - works for us anyway!!

abgirl · 26/10/2006 10:44

Sorry forgot to say early signs for me were incredible tiredness (not really felt like that since DS starting sleeping through the night!) and felt sick the last few mornings. Unfortunately suffered badly for morning sickness last time and looks like I'll be having a few rough weeks again....

Good luck everyone!
