Hi all.

I'm quiet as trying not to obsess. On 4dpo. Having very vivid pg dreams; on fourth session of reflexology and still off caffeine and alcohol. Dtd for two days before ov; day of ov and two days after. Used preseed last three times. Also laparoscopy hopefully cleared tubes. FX!

Hope everyone else is coping ok.

X

So the bean is still 'of uncertain viability' as can't see anything other that the sack at 5 weeks, but at least it's in the right place, measuring 5mm.
They also took bloods, to be repeated on Sunday, to check if hcg is doubling and I can be re scanned in a week or two.
Going away on holiday next Friday though so if they can't rescan on Thursday, I can have one out there. A bit nervous about the flying... and still nervous whether bloods and scan will show growth progress Confused

OH SA results are in and havent spoken to him fully but he said that there were 30% were good and the norm is 40% and that they like to see 15mill per mm of seamen and his is below 2mill, can anyone advice, please dont know where to go from here.

maybug3 · 04/07/2014 21:29

Silv - sounds like they are keeping a close eye on you so hopefully everything will be OK. Keeping everything crossed for you. X

Oh Blueeyes. How are you both feeling? We had similar although slightly worse results a couple of weeks ago. Dh has smooth sa booked for next week to see if a 2nd test is just as bad.

It does only take 1 to succeed but we've been advised that ivf will be next steps for us as we've already been trying for 2 and a half years.
Good luck.

Glad you Other ladies are all OK and not obsessing to much. Can't say I'm as good at that as you seem to be.

silverine · 04/07/2014 22:20

Thanks may fx! Do you know yet when you might be starting ivf? Hope you don't need to wait too long!
blue have you got an appt set to discuss tne results? Try to take comfort in the thought you do have a chance.x

We haven't even had the referral to the fertility team yet as our gp is insisting on lots of tests including ultrasound for me and blood tests for dh. The sonographer who did my ultrasound told me he doesn't need to do this before the referral but he has insisted which is annoying as it's just delaying everything.
I've been told anything up to a year before we would be able to start ivf but fx it won't be that long.

lildottie · 05/07/2014 00:24

blueeyes you need to push for a referral. and don't take any crap from the gp.

blueb fx that egg is getting ripe n ready!

may hope u get ur referral soon

silv it must be so stressful, but try and keep calm. stress is bad for u and bean. hang in there Thanks

blueeyes147 · 05/07/2014 08:37

In fairness doc's have been great since we first went and explained how long we had been trying they organised referral (6 month waiting list) before getting any results of bloods or sa so just waiting on that. Gonna go again in a couple of months for 2nd sa and see what outcome is from that. Both had a pretty grim evening, OH is devastated trying my best to look upbeat and like its only a minor issue but dying a bit inside.

m33r · 05/07/2014 09:05

blue has DH been taking vits? I'm not suggesting it will solve everything but they can really help. How are you today? X

blueeyes147 · 05/07/2014 09:19

No m33r but he is starting this week. feeling ok its all just a waiting game I guess, doc said we may just need a bit of assistance mayb IUI so retest and wait for appointment to come.

victoria401 · 05/07/2014 15:00

Hi ladies

Sorry to hear about your news blueeyes, I know that feeling well and so does my dh. At least you're already on the waiting list though. We needed everything before they'd even put us on it! Same as you May! My GP seemed to act as though i was making half of it up and was convinced we would conceive. Even when the sa showed pretty much zero chance, she wouldn't refer us. Hence changing doctors!

M33r, is this 1st or 2nd cycle since cleaning out the tubes? Fingers crossed it did something positive!

Hope you're ok silv x

Me? Nothing new. No referral letter yet.

silverine · 05/07/2014 16:19

Hi vic, I have been up and down actually. I did some research on what you can see on scans at different stages and 5mm gestational sack is bang on for 5 weeks, so I feel better for that. But still worried about symptoms going away... I know many have no symptoms at all but if you had them and disappeared is no good... Sad keeping fx for blood results tomorrow!
Weirdly, my fertility appointment letter arrived today for 31 July - earlier than I thought... but won't cancel it just yet, just in case...

silverine · 05/07/2014 20:43

...and an ex classmate of mine just announced her pregnancy with a photo of her in a bikini looking slim apart from about 4-5 month bump... Envy

victoria401 · 06/07/2014 09:21

My cousin and his wife just announced yesterday, they've been married less than a year :-( Out of 12 cousins there are 2 of us without kids, the other is still single....

maybug3 · 06/07/2014 11:56

There's been a real flurry of announcements for me to the last 3 weeks - 3 closer friends and a further 2 wider friends.
It's a killer every time.
One of my best friends is about to undergo ivf for her second though so at least I have someone who is going through something similar.

Chin up ladies. It will be our turn eventually. X

victoria401 · 06/07/2014 12:58

I have absolutely no one in my 'real life' going through anything similar who I can talk to. :-( That's why you ladies are so important to me x x

silverine · 06/07/2014 14:56

Hi all!
So I was alsmost resigned that was it, I've had no symptoms for about 3-4 days now - boob swelling and soreness gone, not even as tired. And then last night had a massive fall-out with DH. He'd been out with a mate to watch the football and was pissed when he came home. Fell asleep more or less straight away but woke up an hour or so later in an absolute rage. Was shouting at me for the smallest thing, wss throwing stuff about the room, etc. I ended up shaking and crying for most of the evening... Sad
Have to emphasise that's very much out of character and he was very remorseful afterwards and this morning, but I thought well, even if it had been ok until then, that would have done it... DH was crying that he might have caused another loss...
But guess what, I had my followup blood test today and hcg had doubled up nicely!!! Smile Could that finally be our miracle happening? We are off on holiday on Friday (we really need it!) and will go for a scan out there next week. Should be able to see a HB by then please god! Also have a scan booked for the day after we get back. FX!
Hugs to all!

m33r · 06/07/2014 20:50

silv glad everything is going to plan. Enjoy the hol.

I also have someone in RL who is going the through the same which means someone understands the total roller coaster and how hard it is but I wish she could just get her baby...

vic this is the first cycle post laparoscopy so very high hopes...

Metalhead · 07/07/2014 14:13

Hi ladies, just popping in to say hello.

Congrats on your hgc results silverine! Fx that this is it for you. I hope you manage to enjoy your holiday.

Not much to report here, I'm on CD14 and expect to ovulate at the weekend or early next week, so will start dtd with intent with my newly purchased Conceive Plus from Wed/Thu.

Hope everyone else is ok.
