Hi Lumen! Nice to see you back on the thread and good to know that you have an ivf buddy in Chloe. It seems that most of is who aren't already in the ivf or IUI process will be soon, so we can all help each other!

Win can't say I've ever had the itching. Is it thrush? Since my mmc in dec/jan i had 2 wtf cycles and then seem to be back on track, although I gave up temping after cycle 3 post mc so am hoping ovulation is back as it should. With regard to spotting, I also get that for 2 or 3 says before af but still hold out hope every month that it's implantation bleeding. If your temp is staying high then that's a good sign maybe?! Tomorrow morning at 11dpo is surely pimp time?! I had implantation spotting with pregnancy 1. It was identical to af spotting and lasted from 8dpo until 12dpo and then vanished. I had got really pissed off that af spotting had come earlier than ever and never imagined I could be diffed. Not to get your hopes up or anything.

Too late funky, my hopes are already up. AFs going to hit me hard this month! The itching is a thing apparently. According to google anyway. What did we do before google?? We'll see if my temps still up tomorrow. Really going to try and resist pimping early, madness lies that way!!

greatbigbushybeard · 15/05/2014 21:14

So, this morning I'm trying to be patient and wait in bed til alarm goes off, then got all my pee in a jam jar, special scientific pipette preg test ready. So I do my wee, dh comes in and we watch it, I got all over excited thinking the control line was the pg line, then we realise we're reading it wrong and it needs to be two lines, so we wait and the more the time goes by, the more apparent it becomes that we don't have a line. I then remember I had some freebie cheapie pt's so we try those and they too look like nothing. We look back at the first one and it looks like there is the faintest line there but it could be our imagination. We just didn't know what to do. My dh thought I should ring the clinic and then go from there. He went to work really quite cross as he thought what could we do better if we try again as they kept saying how well each step of the treatment had gone and why do they let us do it when there's only a 35% chance of it working.

So, I went to work and tried to find somewhere private to ring the fc, harder than it seems in a school. Get thru to secretary who says my nurse is away but another will call back. I'm teaching & she rings back mid literacy lesson, I launch myself at my phone saying to my ta that I need to take this, eventually find a private place to talk. She said that I should retest this w/e with any pg test as there prob isn't enough hcg... She said we hadn't done anything wrong.

So I get home tonight and there is my dh brandishing a first response pg test. I though he'd already stuck it in my left over pee in the jam jar!! He hadn't. He was all come on let's test. I said it wouldn't be worth it as you need morning pee, anyway he said go on squeeze one out, so I did, brought it down and watched it and a pink line started to appear and we waited and it looked pretty full on,mi even took a pic of it!!! Which you can see, also posted this mornings ghostlike one. What a head f*ck!!

So I can't really believe it and I'm almost a bit scared to. We did let ourselves have a celebratory jig round the kitchen. I've got a test left so not sure when to use that one, any suggestions?

Thank you ladies for your support and sorry for not getting on here earlier. I really wanted to post this morning but what with the testing and not being able to read it I was later for work and that was non stop. So apologies I am a naughty berry, anyhow come on hb!!!!!

winohhh · 15/05/2014 21:16

Oh barking, how frustrating for you!! Hope tomorrow's the day!!

tigerdog · 15/05/2014 21:21

Hi chloe and welcome. There's lots of IVF'ers so you'll feel right at home. This week my FC told me that I would only be able to get on the waiting list for IVF after 3 years ttc Hmm so hoping for a bfp before it comes to that!

win I'm hoping on your behalf. Sorry, not doing a good job of discouraging you from being hopeful!

barking slowly but surely you are getting there. Come on little foli, grow!

lumen hope you're feeling better soon, almost the weekend Smile

funky are you actually a doctor? You mentioned patients earlier. Seems to be a few here working in the nhs.

chloechloe · 15/05/2014 21:26

Congratulations bushy! I may be very new around here but am really pleased for you!

Lumen - it looks like we will be IVFing at the same time. Am about a week behind you but on the short protocol (Nothing to downreg for me - as my RE said, my body is not doing anything by itself!)

Sorry for those of you with no treatment plans in sight, but I'm crossing my fingers you all do a FUFC instead!

tigerdog · 15/05/2014 21:26

Ah bushy that's a good clear result. So chuffed for you! Hooray!

Gillster · 15/05/2014 21:27

Yay Bushy congratulations! Love the story. Get yourself onto the copter.

FeatherFeather11 · 15/05/2014 21:29

BUSSHHHHHHHHHY congratulations!!! That is such hugely ace news! So, so happy for you! And such a brilliant story too. Your oh sounds hilarious btw - love that he picked up some tests without being asked to! Off to the chopper you go!

win I do get the itch every month without fail. But got everything crossed for you. Doesn't mean a thing! I even got it the month I had my bfp and it was sure af was about to make an appearance.

Thanks everyone for asking how I am. Feeling your support. It's a mix of ttc, wedding, work, family stuff etc. will be fine - just need a break from it all, really!

I have a question re ovulation: is it normal to have a little temp dip just before? Got one this morn, but have had a slightly darker line on an ov test and a bit of ewcm. What does it all mean??

Hope you're all well. barking hope it all goes well and this is the only cycle you'll need. I have a good feeling it may well be!

Ivf berries: brave, amazing women. I salute you and may be joining the queue myself in a few months time. Flowers

Welcome chloe!

lumen you're back! Hoorah!

FeatherFeather11 · 15/05/2014 21:36

Great story Bushy. Will miss 'great big bushy beard' on the thread but you have earned yourself a seat on the chopper! Wooooo hoo!

Sorry Barking that your appt didn't go as planned today. Better luck tomorrow.

No Tiger I'm not. I'm an nhs ahp. There were more of us before kitty and foody left.

TheRainDrops · 15/05/2014 21:40

LOVE it! What a day bushy - you must have been going nuts! Personally I'd say step away from the pg tests now - they won't tell you anything else!
Come on clusterdiff! barking, hb - you next!

feather that photo is almost obscene! But the dog seems pretty happy about it so who am I to judge! Wink
How long to go till the wedding now? I hope you're feeling more chipper soon, if there's anything we can do to help you know where we are!

funkymonk · 15/05/2014 21:40

That picture is hilarious feather!
Sorry that you have a combination of stressful stuff going on at present. I hope you are looking after yourself.

OP posts:
winohhh · 15/05/2014 21:44

Feather, sorry things have been a bit shit. With regards to ovulation, I often get a dip just before I ovulate, but not always. The thing with temping is you have to look for a pattern and one temp can't tell you very much. It's usually only in hindsight you can see what's happened! It can be helpful if you see that you ovulate at roughly the same time each month. Of course I don't.
