Morning,
Hi kt sorry you are feeling rotten, but maybe try the more water idea. Are you getting plenty of rest? Impossible I know with a job and a toddler, but you must try!
better the GP didn't say anything about my LP, or irregular cycles, she didn't say much at all other than 'I'm not worried' and 'You'll be fine' so a bit cross with her really. I'll go back after this month is over I think, I just want a break from thinking about it, and see if the vitamins can help, I don't hold much faith with the GPs to be honest, it just seems like a battle to get any help, and I don't have the money to pursue IVF/IUI or specialist clinics so I have to do what I can myself.....DH and I are going to go on a super healthy kick after this month is over.
engels I really hope AF pulls a no-show for you, you really deserve it after all you've been through, and all the waiting you have done. What would your EDD be though!?
mrs that does sound good about 7days, but it could be a bad thing too, DD was 9 days over; I went into labour naturally, the birth went really well and she weighed 7lb 4oz. I was so scared of being induced as I was sure it would basically lead to a long labour and eventual c-section, but after still not being recovered from a v-birth 2 years down the line I am wondering if c-sections are better!! I would have a pretty big decision to make if I ever have to make birth plans again.
I had a water birth with DD, I don't have anything to compare it to obviously, but I would recommend a water birth, if nothing else it worked as a distraction, I had a few mini milestones planned out for my birth which helped to deal with the pain, a few little things to work towards and 'look forward' to, so the first one was starting to use a tens machine for pain relief, then deciding to go into hospital, then deciding to start on the gas and air, and finally getting into the pool. I felt if I could hold off on each thing for as long as I could I was one step closer to the baby being out! I was lucky in that DD was born only 3 hours after getting to hospital. I suppose thrashing around in the water, and the warmth, did help with the pain, but it was hard getting out after she was born, and I was so cold and shaking for ages! We sat in the pool cuddling DD for maybe 15 minutes, keeping her under the water, and I thought it would be less of a shock for the baby to come out into warm water rather than bright lights and a cold atmosphere, obviously I realise now as long as they come out healthy that is all that matters, and by the time they are rambunctious 2 year olds it makes no difference how they were born!! Sorry, that's practically a birth story I've written there! Just wanted to share my water birth experience for those considering it.
