The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Good news Gail! I thought AF might be on her way earlier as had a little bit of brownish discharge, but nothing since (despite having a good rummage up there...).

broodylicious · 15/03/2014 19:28

Thanks sebs and the others who have replied. It's so frustrating! I'm sick of it all!!

Also, note to self, do not ever read that September AN thread ever ever again. I kid you not, ladies, someone has recently written: "I'm sick of answering questions about being pregnant - when are you due, are you finding our sex, are you feeling ok etc - I don't want to sound ungrateful of their interest...." Oh seriously? That's exactly what you sound like! Just fuck the fuck off. Like now. AngryAngryAngry

Penguin13 · 15/03/2014 19:52

Raaaaaaaah Broody Angry that would get right on my tits! What a selfish ungrateful person.

Penguin13 · 15/03/2014 20:11

Ugh. Baby bomb on Facebook complete with the obligatory scan pics Sad.

Seasides · 15/03/2014 23:28

Hate them penguin!

So...just found the hospital questionnaire that they did actually send me Blush x 1,000,000. I loathe myself right now, I am so annoyed and embarrassed I'm not even going to tell dh! What a massive dick I feel, and so pissed I've wasted my own time.

TeaRex · 16/03/2014 07:21

Oh seasides don't be too hard on yourself :( we all make mistakes everyday, unfortunately sometimes it ends up being something that really stuffs up something important to ourselves. Just fill in the form, send it off and don't beat yourself up, massive hugs.

Triplespin · 16/03/2014 07:49

Aww seasides don't worry, at least you have found it now and hopefully you will get your appointment soon.

Good news gail!!

broody how ungrateful!! I briefly visited the November AN thread and there were ladies who were 4 weeks discussing buying maternity clothes and cots. My mc have totally ruined the innocence for me.

Metalhead · 16/03/2014 07:53

Ah Seasides how annoying! Still like Tea says, no point beating yourself up about it, what's done is done, just get it sent off ASAP now.

Well I had some more pink discharge last night after TITH and had a very bad back, so I'm wondering if it was maybe ov. I didn't use any opks the last couple of days so can't be sure, but the backache was definitely the same as I used to get pre-mc around ov so fingers crossed...

Carly6971 · 16/03/2014 08:23

broody never do that to yourself! I used to constantly visit that thread right after my mc...god knows why, I guess I wasn't ready to admit I no longer belonged there...it just causes misery...avoid,avoid,avoid :)

seasides that's something I would do too! just get filling in and sending off quickly :)

penguin fb should ban baby related stuff! (Says the bitter twisted mc lady lol) x

Metalhead · 16/03/2014 09:09

Actually, scrap that earlier post - I think AF may have arrived! Hooray! (Never thought I'd say that Grin). Almost exactly four weeks after my mc started. Onwards and upward from here.

Penguin13 · 16/03/2014 09:23

Seasides the good news is that you have what you need now and that's the important bit. Also if anyone here has never made an embarrassing mistake please raise your hand.....Anybody? Thought not. I consider it a bonus if I only make one clanger a day Smile

That sounds promising metalhead. Hope it turns out to be ov.

I am quite glad I decided to try temping. I have now had an obvious temp rise so hopefully ovd. Predictably my 'assume I am not pregnant and don't think about it to avoid disappointment' strategy is out of the window on day 2 of 2ww. Sigh. Now where's that list of useful crazylady activities to exponentially increase the crazy
keep me occupied during the 2ww of torture?...

HollyBen · 16/03/2014 10:32

Oh seasides no point in beating yourself up. You have it now. Hope you get your appointment soon Shamrock

So EWCM seems to have gone but no positive OPK and only vaguely sore boob to indicate ov? Hopefully just means I missed it with the tests? I will test again later and keep going with every other day tith until DH and I have sausage fatigue....

Just getting ready to head to DDs birthday party completed castle cake at the ready. Fx we manage to get it there in one piece

Parsley2506 · 16/03/2014 11:02

Morning all, hope you're all chipper! seasides I hope you've forgiven yourself, as everyone's said there's no point berating yourself.

metal glad your wtf cycle is over, onwards and upwards now!

Sorry about the baby bomb penguin (at least, I thnk it was you - am on my phone so can't go back to check and my short term memory is crap today!). I logged into Fb for first time in 2 months yesterday and basically deleted pretty much everyone so just good friends and family left now. Feels much better!

I am in hayfever HELL today. I literally cannot go outside, so bloody typical when the weather finally gets nice! Hmm
7dpo. Not feeling lucky this month.

Ps has otters been in recently?

OP posts:
broodylicious · 16/03/2014 13:16

Hi all! Hope you're enjoying the sunshine (although it is a little breezy here so not exactly shorts and T-shirt weather just yet!) parsley what a nightmare with your hay fever. My sister suffers too and it causes her no end of trouble, nothing she takes seems to work. You'd think by now these docs would have nailed a drug for it, wouldn't you?

I do love fb and twitter but since my mc, it all seems to be baby stuff or, even worse, people just moaning about ridiculous, petty things or sounding ungrateful for their lives. I've checked in a few times but I just cba with it all right now. Much rather be here with you lovely ladies Smile

Just got Robin Hood prince of thieves on while dd sleeps. Fancy a little snooze myself tbh.... Xx

Viperama · 16/03/2014 13:29

Cramps just started and if I'm not upduffed the witch is scheduled to show her warty face tomorrow. Just want to crawl under the duvet and stay there a week.
DP is away for 10 days so I'm indulging melancholy unchecked. I need a fish slap

Parsley2506 · 16/03/2014 14:08

No melancholy! Obviously primarily I hope you're 100% upduffed but if you're not then I command you to make the most of 10 days footloose and fancy free and celebrate with Wine, Cake and Ryan Gosling/Brad Pitt/Chris Hemsworth DVDs (delete as applicable)
Seriously tho, I hope you don't feel blue for long, think of it as another month for your womb to get extra comfy.

Viperama · 16/03/2014 14:22

Thanks parsley I'll wait for AF and if it does I will turbo charge into wine recovery mode. Lol
Tentative tasting with colleagues in the diary tmrw eve in fact, I'd planned to give a miss, not now!
Right I'm off outside to ride my push bike round our nations capital in the sunshine, vitamin sunshine will be good.

HollyBen · 16/03/2014 19:34

So cd18, still no positive opk (a line this eve but not very dark) spotted a bit of ewcm but mainly (tmi) sticky. Slighty sore boobs but also a kinda crampy feeling similar to around af. Anyone get this around ov? I have 1 opk left so will try tomorrow but then need to decide whether to pick some more up tomorrow? Just when I thought I knew my post mc cycle and the signs sigh Sad

Seasides · 16/03/2014 20:00

Penguin13 · 17/03/2014 07:38

Happy Monday everyone Smile. Hope Mon back at work after this glorious sunshine isn't toooooo depressing.

Holly I don't but I'm sure I have seen other people talking about cramping around ov it definitely sounds like it could be caused by ov. I must admit I have spent a ridiculous amount on cb opks over the last couple of months as the only sign I seem to get now is a bit of ewcm and I needed a bit of reassurance that I was actually oving.

Viper I hope you're feeling better today. Hooe the witch stays away but if not an evening enjoying some Wine sounds like a good plan.

Parsley2506 · 17/03/2014 08:35

Holly I nearly always get ov cramps, mittelshwertz or something I think they're called!

sebsmummy1 · 17/03/2014 08:45

Girls, has anyone noticed that post mc they are producing more creamy cm post ovulation? I was always pretty dry after ov and then the cycle i caught i had creamy cm on 9dpo. Well yesterday and today i am producing quite a lot of the stuff but i think its too early for it to mean anything hopeful.

Is it just hormones going bonkers post mc?

GailLondon · 17/03/2014 08:55

Morning! Happy Monday everyone
Bit of a weird day for me today, its the first day back to my normal job since the MC (I've been off in a different department on secondment for the past 2 months).
I normally work in a lab with chemicals, and had already agreed with my manager that I would come back to a nice low risk desk job today for health&safety reasons. So it feels a bit weird to be putting on my labcoat again today! Only a few people at work, mainly managers knew about my situation so its making me a bit sad feeling like the whole pregnancy was just a dream and never happened.
On a happier note, I'm now 2dpo, plenty of TITH this weekend so I guess i'm in the 2ww! how exciting!

Littlelady33 · 17/03/2014 09:03

Morning everyone! Hope the return to work is ok for you Gail - I felt the same really, with no one knowing it was as though it hadn't happened but weirdly I find that easier to deal with than when I'm around people who did know, especially if (in the case of my mum) they are upset too! Exciting to see so many ladies in the 2ww, crossing fingers for you all. I'm dating to think I have early ov signs, my body pretty much screams 'I am ovulating' in various ways - but in the wtf cycle who knows??
