The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Thanks Sebs ! Right now I don't mind too much either way whether it's AF or OV that turn up, then at least I know where I am!

Seasides · 14/03/2014 14:52

Argh, just spent 30 mins calling every foof-related department in the hospital chasing my fallopian tube scan. Finally got through to someone who knew what I was talking about who said 'did you fill your questionnaire in? You're not on the list until you send it back.' Oh, you mean that questionnaire you didn't send out in my original letter? That one? Thanks for wasting 3 weeks of my life! Roar Angry They really don't see how important it is - they must spend so much time around people in TTC anguish that it wears off.

HollyBen · 14/03/2014 15:13

How bloody irritating seasides Does that mean you need to wait another 3 weeks? Do these people not understand that us almost a whole cycle Angry

Hope all those in limbo get ov/AF soon. I waited 79 dats for AF post ERPC it was limbo he'll.

Thinking of your triple x

Cd16 here. Tons of EWCM today. Time for more tith tonight and hopefully a positive OPK soon though my post MC ov sore boobs haven't kicked in yet. Maybe that delight will have taken the delight and done one. It is DDs birthday tomorrow and I am attempting a princess castle cake for her party on Sunday. I think I will need some Wine

CakesALot · 14/03/2014 15:28

Seasides, that's ridiculous. Like you say, they must get desensitised to the TTC anguish. No excuse though.

Holly, I made a princess castle cake for my niece recently. It was a challenge! I was up to my eyes in pink icing and edible glitter!! I thought I'd chosen a simple design but it was still a faff! Luckily my other niece, who is far less girly, just asked for cupcakes for her birthday. I would never choose a favourite niece, but....

sebsmummy1 · 14/03/2014 17:20

Oh I'm absolutely sure they get desensitised. I suppose they have to otherwise they wouldn't be able to do the job. I also wonder whether incorrect administration buys more time for the NHS or maybe I'm a cynic.

TeaRex · 14/03/2014 17:22

seasides that's pants :( hope things get sorted for you quickly

carly my af's are all over the place, always have been but the witch showed up after 6 weeks for me, no real pre menstral signs for me either, very emotional but let's face it in the situation we're all in emotions are crazy anyhow so the witch could be ready to pounce any second, fx something happens soon for you

And finally a little good news for me :) just passed my driving test :) yay! (And thank fuck lol)

CakesALot · 14/03/2014 17:26

Congratulations, tea!! I passed my test in May last year after years of badgering from DH, family, friends. It was such a relief to get it done at last! What a happy Friday for you!

Triplespin · 14/03/2014 17:31

Thank you everyone.

Good luck gail, metalhead, hollyben for positive opk soon, so you can take a break!

Only silver lining for me is that I don't have to keep reminding dh ie forcing for Tith during fertile period!

seasides that is incredibly frustrating. How incompetent is that?

hollyben that is very brave of you. I tried once for DS second birthday and since then have resorted to paying others to bake the cake. I am so worried about disasters!

Scan went not so well. The sac is still there. I have had a lot more cramping this afternoon with bleeding so I think this time things will take longer. I wasat work while cramping and bleeding, definitely was not very productive and I think I will take Monday at least off to get over the physical and emotional stress. Looking forward to Sunny Sunday though. Does anyone have plans?

Btw I asked at Kings (my hospital) if I could bring any tissue I catch for testing. And they said they won't do any testing until after 3rd mc. So basically I need to have not three but four mc to get tested!

Congratulations tea. Good to get it out of the way before you have your baby!!

Seasides · 14/03/2014 17:33

Well done tea! A milestone passed Smile

Yes, I am not in love with that hospital. She sounded convinced I'd just missed the questionnaire. I got the tests they asked me for done the very next day, I'm hardly sitting on my hands on this one! I just think I could have wasted weeks waiting for that letter.

Seasides · 14/03/2014 17:35

Another x-post - sorry things haven't worked themselves out smoothly triple, I would def take Monday off if I were you. Really impressed you went in today! Argh at hospitals for you too, grr!

Penguin13 · 14/03/2014 18:58

Congratulations Tea! Hope you are going to celebrate your driving test success. Am definitely not massively envious. I have a driving lesson at 8.30am tomorrow. Wah.

Triple so sorry that the news from the scan wasn't what you hoped for. I am frustrated on your behalf re the testing as well. I understand that the NHS need to manage resources but enough is enough and I really don't understand their logic in this case. Taking Mon off sounds like a good idea. You've been through so much recently and you need space to heal.

Seasides how incredibly frustrating to be mucked around like that. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Ooh EWCM sounding promising Holly hopefully ov is imminent. You know I think Clintons are really missing a trick not having a range of ttc themed cards. I'm picturing 'congratulations on your abundant ewcm'.... 'sorry your boss is an unfeeling wanker'...'well done on not punching your family member who asked if you've thought about children in the face'....The possibilities are endless Grin

TeaRex · 14/03/2014 19:08

triple sorry that the news wasn't great :( take as much off work as you need, you're going through so much and have been through so much make sure you look after yourself

Thank you for all the congratulations everyone :) doesn't seem real yet, will have to go out driving by myself over the weekend (scary) but want to feel comfy in my car before I drive my daughter anywhere.

penguin you'll get there, I cheated and did auto so you're a stronger woman than me :) I could not hack the gears lol do you have an end date in sight yet?
And I'm loving the card thing the ideas really are endless, 'hope your cervix is primed',
'sore tits? Fingers crossed for you' haha this could amuse me for hours

Viperama · 14/03/2014 19:19

Lol tearex and penguin those greeting cards are all brilliant!

Seasides · 14/03/2014 19:35

'Congratulations on your abundant ewcm' & 'hope your cervix is primed' - that has got to be one of the best things this thread has produced! Grin Grin 'Good luck not arguing with DP for TITH' - and, of course, the attached.

WARNING: This thread is only for the Posifrickentive! Grab your trout gun, help yourself to a steamy helping of Toad In The Hole and head on in. All new TTC after MC - chin up tits out ladies!
Metalhead · 14/03/2014 19:37

So sorry for your scan result Triple, definitely take some time off work if you can.

Seasides that is really frustrating. Sometimes the NHS is really shit, at least the beaurocratic side of things. Hope you get your scan soon.

Tea congratulations and happy driving! Smile

Seasides · 14/03/2014 19:56

Oh god, I just found the worst advice I've ever seen on a TTC website: how to spend the 2ww. I would honestly check myself in to the nearest facility if I did most of these: www.bellybelly.com.au/conception/two-week-wait-activity-list#.UyNdRPl_uS8

Penguin13 · 14/03/2014 20:33

Seasides that is epically bad. Surely, SURELY, it must be a joke??!

TeaRex · 14/03/2014 20:46

Yeah, that can't be real?! She's a nutter :/ on the plus side it makes me feel more sane :)

broodylicious · 15/03/2014 06:39

Congrats tea, no stopping you now!

Loving the greetings cards ideas!! GrinGrin "Happy ov day" "so sorry you're bleeding" yes I defo think Clinton's are missing out in this area!!

Hope you all have good weekends. Anything nice planned? Supposed to be good weather again Smile

Carly6971 · 15/03/2014 07:40

Congrats tea I need to do the same!

I am never up this early on a Saturday...bloody dogs had me up and down all night with a bad stomach, oh well hopefully all good practice! (The broken sleep not the dogs shits lol)

Hope everyone has a great weekend :) no plans here other than to enjoy the weather :) x

broodylicious · 15/03/2014 08:04

Ladies I've posted a question in the mc/pregnancy loss section, thread is called bleeding again 17 days after mc. If you get a sec, I'd be grateful for any ideas/replies xxx

sebsmummy1 · 15/03/2014 09:55

Hi broody, I did reply to your thread dealing, not sure what help I actually was though!!!

Well I decided to do an HPT this morn with FMU. Not because I wanted to test for pregnancy as I'm only 3dpo, but just for confirmation that these ultra early testing strips were now saying positive. Would you believe there is still the squintiest of lines on the bloody thing!!! I'm so glad I did it as if I'd tested with it at 9dpo I might have actually got a bit excited it was a new pregnancy.

I just cannot believe how sensitive these strips must be and also can't believe I still have some HSG in my system! It obviously didn't stop me from ovulating though as FF confirmed OV took place on CD 14 based on temp shift.

It's a total headfuck.

sebsmummy1 · 15/03/2014 09:56

We're now saying negative that should have read.

GailLondon · 15/03/2014 13:58

Omg! Just got a clear as anything positive on my OV stick! Pretty chuffed!

Penguin13 · 15/03/2014 16:25

Gail have a 'congratulations on your textbook ovulation test' card. Brilliant news.
