The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Haha Holly I think H must have done a cost/benefit analysis and the potential of having lots of hot TITH must have weighed significantly on the benefits side. I love AP they know how to do kink with class he even got exactly the right size which is a miracle considering I have put on half a stone in the last year

Cakes really sorry you're having a difficult time. I think it's a normal part of the grieving process. As much as I would like to get pregnant again I still think about the baby we lost 4 months ago. Like Littlelady says, some days are better than others. Hugs for you.

Looks like I didn't ov just yet. Since I didn't get a temp rise despite positive opk I kept testing with my cb advanced which resets after 48 hours. Yesterday low. Today another peak. Anyone else had this? H is back tonight so will be deploying the new undies

Morning all, just checking in. No signs of ov here yet, I guess it'll be a rather long wait for my first post-mc AF. Been having all kinds of weird cm but nothing even vaguely resembling the fertile stuff.

Triple and Cake thinking of you both, hope you're doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances.

Penguin I remember fedup having that one cycle. I didn't realise you could get false peaks as I struggled to get one let alone two! Any other indicators re. EWCM?

I started my heavy bleed yesterday and now at EPU this morning to get scanned to see if the miscarriage is complete. Then like all of you will probably start looking out for ovulation signs in 2-3 weeks time.

Happy late birthday penguin - though sounds like most of the celebrating will be done tonight . I LOVE AP undies, I go in just to look at them as sadly I don't have enough boobs for any of it. I could wear the nipple pasties

at so many 30/40-something grannies - my mum didn't even have me until she was 40 and my sis at 41! Mind you, she started having children at 21. No fertility problems there.

I'm on day 21 post MC, OV sticks still saying negative despite lots of EWCM. I think the lines are getting a little darker though so crossing fingers that ov is on the way in the next week!

Sebs the opks can tell you when your body is preparing to ovulate rather than that you definitely did. LH can surge without you actually releasing an egg so if that happens you can have a surge more than once in your cycle, which seems to have happened to me. What I don't understand is why I wouldn't have ovd after gearing up to as I wasn't ill or under more stress than usual. I don't appear to have ewcm this time but think I'm just gonna keep on truckin' with the TITH and hope all becomes clear.

Hmmm I guess if your temps didn't go up as expected and you've now got another pos opk it does sound as though you didn't pop the egg. So frustrating!!! Yep defo keep stoking the fire and hopefully you will see a food temp rise soon xx

Triple - thinking of you. Hope the scan shows the mc is complete and you can start moving forward again mentally. Limbo land is crap, just feels like you're treading water till your cycle comes back again.

My mc now feels like so long ago it's really weird.

Gail don't be too surprised if you get AF instead of Ov as I got EWCM and thought I was on the brink of ovulating and instead got my period. I was happy to see her but then wanted her to F the FO when she overstayed her welcome

Thanks for all your kind messages, I'm bearing up, seeing lots of lovely friends and family and getting such great support here too - I'm now very glad I told more people in rl this time as it has been great to have the support this week. So many flowers, cakes and chocolates in my house, it does help lift my spirits a bit. Waiting now until my scan on Monday to see what's what and where we go from here.

Triple it's been 3.5 weeks now since my erpc - can't quite believe it's that long ago! But I had quite long cycles before so I guess it's to be expected to take a while now.

Good luck for your scan, I hope the worst (physically) is over now and you can start to move on.

Hope the scan goes ok Triple - it's so hard but this is hopefully the end of limbo and the start of you being able to move on. Traumatic though it all was, I tended to see it that way.

metal I am 4 weeks today since end of mc bleeding and just shy of 6 weeks since mc started and I still have no positive opk or af :,( never wanted my period so bad, seems as though everyone else got theirs pretty quick after :( although my cycles are irregular and anything from 32/34-42/44 days :( grrrrrr! Nothing's simple for us is it! Lol x

Sounds like you and I can be cycle buddies Carly! Mine averaged 35 days, but occasionally I've had 42 day ones and of course not to forget the 82 day WTF cycle last year.

Hi Carly, it really sucks waiting I know. Don't give up hope though. My AF took about 5 and a half weeks to appear after ERPC, got it just after my first negative test. Really hope limbo is over for you soon.
