Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 23/03/2014 07:43

Oh my god that is a LOT of shagging!

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 07:54

The ironic bit is I have lost my sex drive now! [Grin]

ohfourfoxache · 23/03/2014 09:12

Fucking hell! (Pardon the pun Grin )

Erm, speechless! How on earth did you have the energy for all that?!!

lala5 · 23/03/2014 09:13

That's an awful lot of shagging! You're an inspiration to us all!

lala5 · 23/03/2014 09:15

I'm back in the game - ERTD over and ready to don my cape! Bloody determined this month - I need a break from work and if I have to get up the duff for that to happen I'm taking one for the team!

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 09:33

Haha! We usually did it when both kids were napping and then once at night

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 09:35

Nessalina · 23/03/2014 09:39

Congrats something!! In awe of your JSing. Now I understand why 'shagging like something' was a thing!! Grin
Don't be disheartened you lot, me and DH only did it twice the month we got upduffed Blush
It does show that evap lines are a load of bollocks though. Any line at all, even hours later on my pee sticks has gone on to be a definite BFP. I reckon maybe one is possible, but two faint 'evap lines'? Totally preggers Grin

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 09:45

Ive been having faint lines for three days now but yesterdays and todays were definitely pink. So I thought you cant have evaps three days straight so its v v faint +. ERTD is due today and no sign at all so far.

lil1ady · 23/03/2014 10:05

wow something I wish I had your energy! but you are the baby of the group so I guess that explains it!

Just told my other half that we need to shag every day for the next 3 weeks. Apparently that's fine with him

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 10:37

Lala5 Grin my OH is annoyed ive lost my sex drive

RPopz · 23/03/2014 10:48

Fuck me that's a lot of shagging... not sure DH likes me enough for all that!! Hmm

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 23/03/2014 10:52

Blimey Something you deserve a BFP after all that effort, and with 2 DCs as well!!! Does make me realize that my JSing report card would say "Must try harder"!!

One month we did it every day for 9 days, and it was bloody hard work by the end - mainly because EWCM had gone so things weren't exactly conducive for JSing, IYSWIM. Might have to invest in some pre-seed if we're going to do that again.

This month I've managed a grand total of 1 so far! Hahah, def don't think I'll be getting my BFP this month. But also, been temping, and according my chart, I haven't bloody ovulated this month! I had all the symptoms, but no sustained temp rise. Will be interesting to see what happens with ERTD, and I'm glad I'll be prepared for a late one because without temping I might have driven myself crazy wondering 'what if'....

I'm holding off from trying too hard until I've settled into my new job, so it will be JSing for the sake of it, but without intent, for a few months for me.

RPopz I too need to know the logistics of how you peed in a cup downstairs. Weren't you worried that your cup might overflow?!

I'm also jealous of your Pineapple Cup and think I need to have one to pee in. I use a mini travel shampoo bottle, it makes aiming quite tricky.

RPopz · 23/03/2014 11:13

Dulce, Mich, I don't wanna tell you that I did it in the livving room but... I did it in the living room (I was VERY careful). I was getting a bit worried about overflow towards the end but its quite a big cup thankfully Grin

When we were having the bathroom done I had to pee in a bucket in the cellar! Thankfully we weren't ttc then otherwise I'd be dipping every two minutes.

We tried for a solid week of JSing over ov week... 3 days in DH starts whining about how its too much pressure which really fucks me off actually because I do everything possible to spice it up for him so it doesn't just feel like babymaking and he doesn't do anything for me, and we're BOTH supposed to want this sprog. He does it everytime I ovulate... so yeah. JSing that much would just end in blazing rows for us.

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 11:16

If you track your cycle I heard its best to JS 2 days before ovulation on ovulation day and 2 days after

RPopz · 23/03/2014 11:18

I'm not sure when the tracker said I was going to ov is actually when I did ov iyswim. So prob a wasted effort anyway!

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 11:22

Yeah trackers dont work for me because I ovulate later than 'normal'

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 23/03/2014 11:35

RPopz I'm impressed, and can't get the vision out of my head of what if your joiner had walked in just at the moment that you were peeing into a Pineapple cup....

I'm tracking to try and get my Day 21 test on the right day, after having 2 failed attempts. It's good to know but also worrying to know - e.g. this month, I'm worried that I haven't ovulated, but I would never have known this if I wasn't temping. On the other hand, if my ERTD is late because of this, at least I'll know why rather than getting my crazy head on.

In other news, my dog just puked and my sister is having a drama, so I'm off! Aaargh!

Katgrant30 · 23/03/2014 12:10

Hey I'm a bit late to the party, but can I join in? I'm Kathryn, DH of 3 years and DS of 16 months... TTC #2 for 6 cycles now... Is that allowed on here?

Took us aaaages with #1, so not expecting bfp anytime soon. Currently CD3.

Cheers, and good to "meet" you!

Name: Daphne Moon

Age: 28

DC: none

JS since Friday...! Very new to this!! And a little scared...!

Katgrant30 · 23/03/2014 12:58

Hi oh four & Daphne... Here's a little more about me...

Am prob going to visit GP this week I discuss all things TTC. My sons birth was pretty horrendous, involving a complicated c section and massive blood loss. We then had 3 months in hospital recovering from postpartum psychosis. So going for it again (with lots of additional risks) is a pretty big step. I'm a bit worried that TTC may not work as my uterus was cut much more than they usually do c sections, in order to get DS out. Then there are all the mental health risks... Whew!

Anyways, a good chat with my nice GP (and maybe then back to perinatal psychiatrist) will hopefully reassure me.

Nice to have a forum for discussing all this in confidence. Sorry if its all a bit serious. Promise I love to JS too... ;)
